My son loves his nursery and has had a wonderful time there. He has a genuine bond with his keyworker and has made some good friendships. Staff are so friendly and professional and are very forward-thinking in terms of diversity and inclusivity. The separate rooms make the space very intimate. I'm looking
forward to my son moving up to wise owls when he can start going to forest and beach schools.
We're very glad we chose this nursery and would highly recommend it.

Our son has been at Woodland House Nursery since he was 3 months old. It’s a wonderful nursery and we feel lucky and privileged that our boy is there. We know he looks forward to going. He loves beach school. And forest school. And the kitchen at the nursery is a blessing meaning he gets freshly cooked
food each day. The staff are kind, attentive and professional and clearly care greatly for each child. Our boy is a happy, healthy and kind individual with a beautiful personality and the nursery has unquestionably made an important and lasting contribution to that.

An all around brilliant nursery! We’re so pleased that we chose Woodland House for all three of our children. The staff are absolutely amazing and our kids have been so happy there.

Our three-year-old daughter has been at Woodland House 4 days a week since she was 9 months old and I have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to anyone who will listen! The staff are kind, attentive and engaged and at all stages, I feel our daughter has developed and learnt whilst having fun.
She clearly enjoys the time she spends at nursery and this, combined with the caring attitude of the staff, has made it very easy for me to return to work that I value, knowing that our daughter is benefitting at the same time.

Our daughter has attended Woodland House for 1.5 years and we are so happy with the care they provide. The staff are wonderful with the children and our daughter loves it there! She bonded well with them and settled in quickly. She learns so much there and staff have helped us to be aware of the next
stages of her learning. They have lots of great regular activities and opportunities for 'messy'/craft/creative play. She enjoys the home cooked food and gets a great variety of meals.

Woodland House Nursery is fantastic and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. My 8.5-month old son loves it there and has been in the 'bunnies' room since he was 6 months. The staff are great with him and are all very friendly. He settled in immediately and I am extremely impressed with the activities
and food that are provided for him.

My son has been at Woodland House for over three years and I cannot recommend highly enough, the staff are caring, motivated and inspiring. It's like a home from home and we are sad to be leaving (for school). They have just got a very well deserved Ofsted outstanding. My son's reception teacher paid
a recent settling-in visit and said it was the best nursery she had ever been to.

Woodland House Nursery is a really fantastic nursery. I couldn't be happier with the level of care and attention that my daughter gets here. What first drew me to the nursery was just how happy all of the children were and now after two years, I can see why. The staff are absolutely brilliant, some
really lovely characters with great enthusiasm and ideas for the children, and staff turnover is extremely low. The extras the nursery offers are really great too, with weekly music classes, yoga and beach school. Woodland has just been awarded an Ofsted 'Outstanding' and this is really well deserved.

Woodland provided fantastic early years care for our 2 eldest daughters, preparing them well for school, building confidence and social skills. Our youngest is currently at the nursery and is thoroughly enjoying it. She has made plenty of friends with children and staff. Her language and comprehension
has come on leaps and bounds in the nursery's stimulating environment. The regular feedback and record of her progress is brilliant. All credit to the staff for their excellent and thoughtful hard work, which allows myself and my husband to go to work confident in the knowledge that our daughter is receiving high-quality care.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for almost a year now and she is very happy there. I have found the staff extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. However busy they are, they always make the time to give a full handover at the end of the day and ask any questions we have. I would highly recommend

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 8 months old and has today "graduated" to Primary School. The nursery has been exceptional throughout the years and has recently been named as an outstanding nursery by OFSTED.


The main difference between Woodland House and other nurseries is the

level of staff engagement. The Head Teacher has engendered a culture of genuine caring which ripples through the staff's relationships with the kids, parents and colleagues. As a team, they strive to continuously improve, which leads to fresh ways of delivering the syllabus, continuously challenging and stimulating the children. I believe that this creativity and desire is driven by their love for the kids and the realisation that, what they do every day, will help to shape these little people into the best big people they can possibly become.


I am grateful that my son leaves their care as a happy and confident little boy, who loves learning and is well prepared for the next step.

Thank you, Woodland House Nursery! Our little girl has been going since last September. She started at almost 2 years old but the team has been very patient and amazing with her - and particularly because she speaks only French at home. She is learning so much and we feel completely confident.

My daughter really enjoys going to Woodland House Nursery. It is great for me - I know she is well cared for and can get on with my day job. When I come to collect her in the afternoon, I get a detailed report (written as well as verbal) of how the day has been which I really like. The staff are super
friendly and the whole atmosphere feels very positive.

My third child has followed her siblings in attending Woodland House from 9 months to school. All my children have been very happy - with each very individual needs and quirks met to the highest standard. The staff are well trained and supported taking great pride in their work. They, in turn, are well
supported by their management team. They truly seem to be a very happy, positive team. Love the food cooked on site, the activities - my child loves everything messy, the key workers, Beach school, the tortoise and playing outside.

My child has a wonderful time at Woodland House Nursery. The staff are gentle, caring and highly knowledgeable. The approach to child development is holistic and creative, with plenty of messy play, craft and time spent outdoors. Lots of attention is given to the individual child, as well as to forming
friendships with other children and socialising in a group. There are lots of extra activities - music, gym, outings, family gatherings. This nursery goes the extra mile. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The staff seem to really genuinely care about the children and go the extra mile to make the children's experience fun and varied. A lot of thought goes into the activities and the displays. They manage conflict between the children well and encourage children to think things through and work out the
right resolution. Their approach is calm, fair and nurturing. A nod also to the kitchen who produce a wonderful variety of fresh and healthy meals. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have discovered this newly opened nursery when we were looking for a place for my son all those years ago. I knew it was the right place straight away!
