Partou Hawkesbury Road Day Nursery & Pre-School in Fishponds provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The small, homely nursery is set within a lovely converted property featuring five well-equipped playrooms, a cosy sleeping room and two safe and secure garden areas. Children at the setting benefit from being cared for in small groups, receiving all the care and attention they need to thrive.

The nursery provides a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including Literacy, Mathematics and Expressive Arts and Design.

The experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

Delicious and healthy meals and snacks are served at the setting, providing children with a wonderful nutritionally balanced diet.

My son has been at Hawkesbury Road for over 2 years and loves it. All the staff through all of the different rooms have been wonderful and so caring and kind to both him and us as parents. They are supportive of his learning and he has made some great friends here. Value for money is fantastic given
the quality of the staff and the variation in meals each week is great. Cannot recommend Hawkesbury enough.

We're really happy with the care our son receives at Hawkesbury Road Nursery. He's been with them from the baby room and is now in preschool. He has really settled after being quite anxious initially. He has good relationships with his workers and we appreciate all the feedback we receive. The nursery
has been really flexible with our requests for extra/change in days which has been really helpful.

My son has now been at Hawkesbury Road Nursery since September 2024 after moving from quite a poor setting. He has struggled with speech and language and the managers have moved mountains to get him the help and support he needed.
We have also now signed our newly born daughter to also join the setting.

Our daughter has been attending since January 24 when she had just turned one and has gone through the baby room to the toddler room. We can't speak highly enough of the staff in both rooms who genuinely care about the children in their care. Our daughter is such a happy, independent little thing, in
no small part as a result of her time at Hawkesbury Road.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Our son has been attending One The Nursery since July 2020. Our son is now in the preschool room, and we couldn't be happier with how he is cared for by all the staff. They support him emotionally and take an avid interest in his development.
When we pick him up at the end of the day, we always get
a thorough update on how his day has been. We believe all his needs are met, and he is well looked after and safe. He has formed relationships with other children that have progressed outside of the nursery.
Staff were very supportive when it came to dropping his nap and supporting us through potty training.
We are more than happy to recommend One The Nursery, and our daughter is due to start attending in April.

Both of my children attend/have attended One The Nursery from baby age. Both children have flourished and developed skills during their time there, and the staff provide the highest level of care. Both my children enjoy going, which makes dropping off so much easier.

My son has been attending for over a year now, and I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and the care that they show him. I see him strut into the nursery every day full of confidence because they all make such a big fuss about him and make him feel important.
He loves his key worker, who is
warm and approachable, as are all the staff, and he enjoys all the activities they organise for him. Staff are always happy to answer any questions, help with development, and also make sure that they give me a full rundown of his day.
I can't recommend the nursery enough to anyone looking for a place to send their child. Thank you to all for making the nursery such a fun experience!

My daughter, a two-year-old, absolutely loves going to the nursery to see all of her friends and teachers. I don't have any complaints; they tell me what she's eaten, gotten up to throughout the day and whether or not she's had a good or bad day. As a mother going to collect your child at the end of
the day, seeing her playing through the door window with a massive smile on her face (and incredibly messy), what more can you ask of from a nursery at this age.

My son has always enjoyed going to One The Nursery. He started at seven months old, and they have made the transition as easy as it could have been. Especially considering we were coming out of Covid and lockdowns. They have always made me feel comfortable that his needs are being met at all stages
so far, and he has always had excellent relationships with all the leaders.

I currently have one child attending the nursery, and they love going and adore the staff. Previously I have had my eldest in attendance, and both children overlapped for a short time.
My eldest also loved to go and partake in the activities forming special relationships with some of the staff.
I find the nursery very approachable and have excellent communication skills.
The team of staff is an excellent mix of caring individuals.

We have been so impressed with One The Nursery since our child started there back in January 2022 at 13 months old. The staff have always been wonderful and incredibly warm and friendly, and the management has always been quick to respond to any queries. They've also been very adaptable to changing
needs during job changes etc. Our child always comes home with a smile on their face, eagerly telling us the fun things they've done that day. Our child potty-trained early (18m), and the staff were happy to get involved with helping them to use the potty while at nursery even though the other children in the 'baby room' were still in nappies. We are keen for our child to stay at One The Nursery until they're ready for school and would recommend them to other parents in a heartbeat.

Staff are very helpful with understanding my children. My oldest used to attend my youngest is there now. Always listening to what I have to say. Staff members are so thoughtful with us adults and understanding our situations at home and trying to keep the same routine at nursery to progress the children

My son has attended the nursery for almost a year now and throughout his time in the Babies and Toddlers room, the staff have consistently gone above and beyond to make him feel at ease and happy. More recently, he became very upset about leaving Mum and Dad in the mornings and wasn't his usual self
throughout the day. The nursery staff went out of their way to think of ideas to make sure he was happy and back to his normal self; in particular "breakfast with dinosaurs" was a massive hit! He is all smiles again and talks about all of the staff and children with a huge grin on his face. Thank you so much!
