Ready Steady Go Childcare offers a home from home nursery setting with all staff holding a Level 2 or above childcare qualification and holding an up-to-date DBS or CRB check, together with safeguarding and paediatric first aid. At their last Ofsted inspection, they were rated Good (February 2019).

With a 5-star food hygiene rating, the nursery provides home cooked meals catering for all allergies, dislikes and preferences.

The nursery holds the Millie Mark award which acknowledges that children's safety is at the forefront of the setting's mind. Ready Steady Go goes above and beyond the minimum requirements by having all of staff trained in paediatric first aid.

The nursery follows the EYFS to promote and support children, ensuring they receive the best care and education and can achieve their full potential in learning and development in preparation for their transmission to school.

The team recognises the importance of working with parents and carers and have initiatives in place to support this.

Throughout the year, the children are involved in many events such as nativity, Easter parade, sports day, graduation, Christingle and other cultural celebrations.

The nursery also has outside agencies that come in and do activities with the children, including Boogie Beats and Football club. Pre-school children can enjoy Forest Days in the woods and beach days in the summer.

My son has attended Ready Steady Go since he was about 5 months and he is now 4 and in his last year of nursery. Over these years I have never had any concerns with the care and learning that my son had. The staff are always polite, welcome, dedicated and highly creative with always different things
and activities going on. Since Ready Steady Go put into place the app the communication with parents is excellent, the team is proactive in uploading pictures and comments about the children's learning. I believe this was an action taken to improve their services which demonstrates how management wants always to develop the quality of the nursery. The nursery has a homely feeling and I think the space available is used effectively between the children's groups.

Absolutely an amazing nursery. All the staff are so lovely and helpful. One of the best nurseries around. I would highly recommend if you’re looking to put your child in nursery! 100% would recommend!

My granddaughter attends Ready Steady Go, and she loves it. She has improved dramatically since she started, educationally, physically and emotionally. The wonderful, patient staff have helped her develop social skills to interact with other children through play and speech. In fact, they want to move
her up to the next class as she is doing so well. This nursery's safety policy is great so I know my granddaughter is in the best safe environment. She has at least another year at Ready Steady Go and I am so pleased and proud as I know my granddaughter will be super ready to cope with school. Thank you Ready Steady Go.

Ready Steady Go is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has been attending for a year now and I cannot express how well she has developed. The staff are fantastic and so welcoming. The management are very approachable too. They do a variety of meals for the children and offer lots of events for children
and parents to be involved in. The app they use is fantastic, to be able to check in and see how your child is doing is a massive bonus. I feel very confident in the staff and nursery providing the utmost care for your child. Would recommend to anyone thinking of placing your child in a nursery Ready Steady Go is the place. Our son started Ready Steady Go when he was 9 months old in October 2022. From the initial visit - all of the staff have been absolutely fantastic. So incredibly inviting, kind and caring.
They all work so hard but are always so happy and enthusiastic - which speaks volumes!
Our son has developed
tremendously since attending, and he absolutely loves being there. The food menu is excellent and ensures a wide range of foods - but also caters for intolerances/allergies. They are a home-from-home environment, but do so many different activities to enhance learning. It always feels very calm and happy in the setting. I always recommend this setting to others.

After my son attending Ready Steady Go in 2014, there was no doubt about sending my daughter here, my daughter isn't really a fan of people etc but loves all of the staff she is happy going into nursery and has the best time. Her days are filled with a wide variety of activities and we couldn't be happier,
we will be really sad to say goodbye when she starts school this year.

I have two grandchildren who still attend Ready Steady Go, and l couldn't be happier with the way they have developed and learnt so much, as the staff always support and encourage them in everything they do. I love that the staff have the time to communicate and give me all the information l need to
know, so l can report back to Mum and Dad after picking them up, and it's such a joy to listen to all the fun things they do. The setting also organises lots of events such as Grandparents Day, where we are invited to join in with our grandchildren and do activities, but it's the best feeling to see my grandchildren are so valued by all the staff and that they always make me feel so welcome when l come to Ready Steady Go. Thank you so much, and l couldn't think of anywhere else l would want my grandchildren to be. Brilliant owners, managers, office staff and wonderful practitioners.

I’ve had two children attend Ready Steady Go for the last five years and would highly recommend the setting to anyone looking for a childcare provider.
The staff are friendly, approachable and highly trained and make sure each day is full of fun activities and opportunities to learn. Management is
communicative, and the setting regularly holds events for parents and families to attend.

Our daughter has been at Ready Steady Go since March 2021. We have only ever had good things to say when other parents are looking for a setting. They have wonderful staff, great range of activities, good communication, a good choice of menu, regular parent's evenings, lots of themed days such as children
in need, Christmas, sports days and a lovely outdoor space. In addition to the regular daily offerings of activities they have forest school (off-site) and beach days which our daughter has absolutely loved. We genuinely can’t fault Ready Steady Go and we will be very sad to be leaving for school in Sept 24.

My daughter has been in Ready Steady Go since 2022 after moving from a different setting. The staff and management are amazing and all go above and beyond for all the families. They have been understanding and helpful with my daughter's speech delay and disabilities. Her speech has come on a lot since
being there. For the staff at Ready Steady Go, you can see it's not just a job to them all, they all treat the children like family it is one big family there. They have an amazing outdoor garden and play equipment. My daughter loves going there each week on pickups staff give handovers to a high standard. Thank you all at Ready Steady Go amazing would 100000% recommend it to anybody. Best nursery for my daughter she loves it and has so much fun there and is happy going there.

My son has been attending Ready Steady Go since May 2022 and I am beyond happy with our choice of childcare setting.
The staff put so much effort into their days and activities both inside and outside of the nursery as well as building a great, strong relationship with your child.
We are kept fully
updated all day via the app and I know I never have to worry about him being there and always get a comprehensive and detailed handover about his day.
I would 100% recommend this nursery to all my family and friends as I already have done. Thank you for all you do at Ready Steady Go!

Both my grandsons attend Ready Steady Go and I cannot praise the staff enough. They always tell me about their days at nursery when I see them and the times I pick them up I am
always greeted with happy boys and a thorough handover on what they have done that day. I would definitely recommend them

My son has attended this nursery now for over a year. When he first started we had some issues, but management are absolutely wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. Fast forward to now and all I can say is we love every single one of the amazing staff members. My son comes running out with a

I am extremely pleased and so happy that my great-grandchildren are at this nursery. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent, grandparents or carer. The staff go out of their way to welcome the children. The menus are amazing, changing every 5 weeks meaning they have a varied diet
trying lots of new foods. Activities are excellent and they enjoy the many outings.

We (Sam and Tara, sisters) are proud to own this nursery. We are both mothers and have enjoyed seeing our own children, grandchildren, family and friends come to nursery over the years. We have a fantastic team of staff who are dedicated, qualified, experienced and friendly, and many of them have been with us long enough to see our little ones grow into adulthood. Our last Ofsted inspection in January 2019 rated us “Good” in all areas.
