Ready Steady Go Childcare offers a home from home nursery setting with all staff holding a Level 2 or above childcare qualification and holding an up-to-date DBS or CRB check, together with safeguarding and paediatric first aid. At their last Ofsted inspection, they were rated Good (February 2019).

With a 5-star food hygiene rating, the nursery provides home cooked meals catering for all allergies, dislikes and preferences.

The nursery holds the Millie Mark award which acknowledges that children's safety is at the forefront of the setting's mind. Ready Steady Go goes above and beyond the minimum requirements by having all of staff trained in paediatric first aid.

The nursery follows the EYFS to promote and support children, ensuring they receive the best care and education and can achieve their full potential in learning and development in preparation for their transmission to school.

The team recognises the importance of working with parents and carers and have initiatives in place to support this.

Throughout the year, the children are involved in many events such as nativity, Easter parade, sports day, graduation, Christingle and other cultural celebrations.

The nursery also has outside agencies that come in and do activities with the children, including Boogie Beats and Football club. Pre-school children can enjoy Forest Days in the woods and beach days in the summer.

The best staff, fabulous settings, beautiful garden, it’s all amazing! My boys love it! The nursery is a very clean, organised and extremely safe environment for young kids. Everyone should send their kids to Ready Steady Go, you couldn’t ask for better for caring for your children!

We moved to the area 6 months ago and looked at a few nurseries around for our 4 year old son, so we went for Ready Steady Go as we liked them the most and we are ever so glad we did! Our son is extremely shy and his speech was well behind (he had been attending speech therapy for about a year prior
to joining the nursery), but he has flourished so well at the nursery that you could barely tell now; he comes home every day with new sentences and talking about useful things like the time of the day (e.g. 10 o'clock) and all sorts of random new topics. He has taken to the staff incredibly in the last half a year and it almost feels like he has been there since he was a baby. All of the staff are extremely friendly, professional, caring, and helpful. We had some special dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble to accommodate and all our concerns regarding his speech have always been listened to and addressed accordingly. I totally recommend them!

My two daughters (aged 3.5 and 22 months) have attended this nursery since just after their first birthdays. They both settled in so quickly and I put that down to the caring staff and the home from home environment. They have always eaten and napped well and come out smiling when I pick them up which
I think shows how much they both love it there.
The staff are really friendly and communicative and will respond quickly to any queries. They hold various events throughout the year, such as Christmas parties, a Christmas concert, Easter bonnet parade, sports day, graduation etc and they really make a fuss of the children on their birthdays. They take them out for walks, to feed the ducks and to play at the park. The nursery itself has excellent facilities and a lovely garden for the children to play in.
I'm really grateful to have found such a brilliant nursery for my children and I will be sad when they move on to primary school!

We (Sam and Tara, sisters) are proud to own this nursery. We are both mothers and have enjoyed seeing our own children, grandchildren, family and friends come to nursery over the years. We have a fantastic team of staff who are dedicated, qualified, experienced and friendly, and many of them have been with us long enough to see our little ones grow into adulthood. Our last Ofsted inspection in January 2019 rated us “Good” in all areas.
