I have been using the Jays for 7 years now and have done so because they offer more than just child care. The staff are experienced and professional and really know my children. The building is set in beautiful grounds on Dartmoor which the children access regularly in all weather. I want my children
to be outside and immersed in nature as much as possible, therefore I value the outdoor learning opportunities the Jays offers...beach school twice a week, forest school once a week and creative workshops too. Meals are all cooked on-site with allergies and diets catered for which has worked wonders in encouraging fussy eating to try a variety of food. My children often compare my cooking to the chef’s and I do not come off favourably! As a teacher, the times and term time dates they offer fit our work patterns perfectly. The use of tapestry and in the moment planning demonstrates innovative ways to measure my child’s progress and keeps us in the picture of what she is up to every day.

Thank you for your lovely words. We are very privileged to have such wonderful grounds to utilise. Our Beach and Forest School, along with a creative workshop, have proved very popular and we love them too. Such lucky children to have these fantastic opportunities and we are lucky to share it with them.
