My son has attended Flying Start at Marjon for over 2 years, from day one he has loved going there and I am amazed at everything he has learnt during his time at Marjons. The staff are so friendly they are like a second family to us, nothing is ever too much trouble and they always make sure I am kept
up to date on my sons learning and development. My son especially loves the new forest school hut and he now asks if he can go to the forest every day!

Both of my children love this nursery, a great range activities every day, Lovely outside space and fabulous forest hut . The staff are amazing and my son loves coming to nursery. Couldn't ask for a better nursery.

Excellent nursery, friendly staff and ideal location. They really stimulate the children by doing many different activities. The online diary log is a great idea and allows the staff to see what the child is doing at home as well as sending lovely updates which make you smile while you are at work.

I currently have an 11-month-old at the nursery and my 4 year old graduated last year. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone, the staff who work there are truly outstanding. In fact, I can't put into words how amazing the nursery is. Every single staff member works so hard to ensure that every
child has the best learning journey coupled with fun. The staff build strong relationships with the children and this extends beyond the children leaving. Children also have amazing fresh meals cooked on site. In addition to that, the electronic learning journey means you can receive photos and observations about your child throughout the day.


I wouldn't want my children to go to any other nursery and am so grateful for everything that they do.

I would highly recommend Flying Start @ Marjon to other parents, my child is in the baby room and they do lots of different activities that include fun and learning both inside and outside. The workers are lovely and keep me up to date on my child's progress and always willing to adapt to my child's
needs. The variety of food is also fantastic.

I have happily recommended this nursery to my friends. My son first attended Flying Start @ Marjon 6 years ago and we were incredibly happy with the nursery. Since then they have expanded into an absolutely beautiful purpose-built facility and my daughter, 13 months has been attending for the last eight
weeks. She absolutely loves it and scrambles to get out of her car seat when she arrives. Fantastic interactive app for tracking daily activities etc. Could not be happier with this nursery, we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have been recommended Flying Start all those years ago and have never considered sending either of our children anywhere else for their pre-school care.

The facilities are superb and enable the staff to deliver extremely high-quality learning experiences for my son. We have found all staff to be extremely caring and professional and willing to go above and beyond the basic job description to offer personalised and individual care.
The management and
staff are creative and innovative in their pursuit of offering wide and varied experiences for the children, and even though someday's our son is in a difference set of clothes due to mess creation, we know that he has truly enjoyed his day. We love that he is able to explore and interact with different things and we especially love getting updates to the Eylog app with evidence (photos and videos) of his fun. His specific dietary requirements are catered for at all times and nothing is ever too much trouble.

This is a lovely nursery that my son has been attending for 3 years now. It has large spaces inside and out with great facilities. The staff are lovely and really care for the children. My son loves it here.

My daughter attends this nursery and has for almost 2 years. I couldn't recommend flying start enough to family and friends. The staff are all so friendly and familiar with all of the children, one member of staff even went out of their way to help me with an issue concerning my child.
I am kept
up to date via the ey-log system and regular feedback from the staff.
The food is all prepared on the premises and is mostly (if not always) a hot meal and snacks are always healthy. I envy my child when I'm told what she has had for lunch each day! :)
I feel happy dropping my child off at nursery knowing she is happily playing with her friends and being stimulated by a wide range of activities that I would not be able to provide at home every day.
Flying Start have also been very flexible with my hours, as I attend the university and my timetable is sometimes changed and placement days are confirmed within short notice, this nursery has not failed to accommodate my needs yet.

Both my daughters attend Flying Start @ Marjon (one currently in the Pre-school room and one in the Toddler room) and they both absolutely love it there! I thoroughly recommend Flying Start @ Marjon, the staff are all amazing - they encourage and understand the children, recognising their strengths
and weaknesses and help them to progress and develop at their own pace. Each room is well equipped with a range of toys, books and learning materials appropriate to age and the garden and outside play area is lovely. My daughters love to meet up during outside play and interact with each other and the other groups of children. The meals and snacks provided are excellent and my girls eat everything including food that they won't usually eat for me at home!! I am very happy with the standard of care my daughters receive at Flying Start @ Marjon and most importantly, they are both very happy and settled and love their time at Flying Start.

We have found Flying Start to be a very friendly and welcoming nursery for our children. They didn't always want to go when they first started but the staff were extremely supportive in their transition from being with us to starting somewhere new and different and now they love to go. They are always
learning something new and it's lovely to hear about their adventures each day!

Our son has been attending Flying Start @ Marjon for a year since he was 9 months old and absolutely loves it. He is always so happy when we go to pick him up and sometimes isn't keen to leave. He has so much fun whilst he is there with so many activities and things to do. All the staff are very friendly
and welcoming and Its such piece of mind being able to go to work knowing that he is safe and happy and being well looked after.

My son has been at Flying Start for a year now from the age of 6 months. From the moment he started, the staff have been fantastic and he is thriving under their care. At the beginning, I was quite anxious and had specific ways I wanted things done with him i.e. food, nap routines etc. The staff were
flexible and understanding not once making me feel I was asking too much or being a complete pain! All the staff I have dealt with are brilliant and treat him like a member of the family. I really believe they truly care about his development and well-being and they are all so enthusiastic and proud when he achieves something new. I'm never anxious now when I leave him, as he loves it so much and I know there's nothing to worry about. The management is very friendly and approachable and runs some really good sessions to get the parents involved with the activities, like heuristic play and sensory fun. In short, we love it and would definitely recommend to anyone else.

My little boy really loves his time at Flying Start, we are always welcomed by a member of staff and are given feedback when I collect him. The inside space is well catered for the age group, it is lovely to see. The outside space is really great, good space to run around and lots of play.
The manager
is always happy to answer any questions and is easily contactable.

Our little girl is so happy here! We love the nursery, all of the people that work there are very friendly and helpful! We are anxious parents and the nursery has been very patient with us and our endless questions and phone calls to check on our little one! They provide a safe, happy environment, and

Our daughter has been attending Flying Start @ Marjon since she was 18 months old, she is now 3 1/2. We've been extremely happy with all aspects of the nursery; the high standards are consistent throughout the three groups and transition between the groups is well-managed at a pace appropriate to an
individual's personality and needs. Our daughter is quite shy but staff are brilliant at encouraging her to join in and come out of her shell. They are great at recognising areas of strength and weakness and understanding how to work with and improve such areas. The opening hours and range of sessions offered were among the reasons for our choosing Flying Start @ Marjon and we've found them to be flexible whenever we've needed to change times or days. Finally, the variety of meals and snacks that are prepared for the children is excellent and are thoroughly enjoyed by our daughter. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.
