Overall Experience

My son always gets excited as we pull up into the car park and as we head inside. The staff in his room the 0-2s are amazing and he will miss them when he transitions over soon.

Overall Experience

My son started here at 9-months-old and absolutely loves it. Right from the start, the staff went out of their way to make him feel welcomed and comfortable as well as giving me all the updates I needed to feel reassured! Since then he can't wait to go in, loves all the activities, toys and garden!

He's learnt so many songs and dances and loves all the messy play too. The staff are all amazing and he has a great relationship with all of them, even the ones not in his room all know his name and spend time talking to him. Could not recommend this nursery enough. Best choice I ever made!

Overall Experience

The warm, caring and welcoming staff have made my son's transition to nursery very smooth and reassuring.
Learning is shared through an online journal and the learning shared shows how the staff are extremely attentive to my son's needs and have taken extra special time to get to know my son's needs

and interests. His learning and development is encouraged naturally through his interests. It’s clear to see how the staff and my son enjoy their time together at nursery.
The activities on offer are always new and exciting and keep my active little boy captivated and the free flow access to the garden provides an outstanding level of play.
The team provide such a loving, stimulating and emotionally safe environment for my little boy to grow. The setting provides home from home care with management also having a knowledgeable relationship with my son.
After viewing most nurseries in Torquay, Watcombe Children's Nursery was without a doubt the only nursery I felt comfortable with my son attending. Thank you!

Overall Experience

Perfect nursery for my daughter, she settled in so quickly and looks forward to going she gets very excited.
All staff are friendly.
The online journal is great, the staff uploads photos and a brief summary of your child's day so every day you can log on and see what they have been up to, for me

this is the best thing I love seeing and hearing what she has been up to.
If there is a problem or your child becomes unwell they are quick to call and keep the child comfortable while you make your way to collect them. Couldn't fault. Very happy and it makes it so much easier sending my daughter knowing she loves it and is having an amazing time.

Overall Experience

Both my sons attend Watcombe Children's Centre Nursery and I could not speak highly enough of the provision and the care which they receive.
They have both always started and finished the day with a smile on their faces. They have so much fun accessing exciting activities and spending lots of time

out in the garden, which is such an incredible space.
Every member of staff is always welcoming and friendly and you can see that they really enjoy being there. I feel incredibly lucky that my children are able to come to the nursery and receive such a high level of care.
I would highly recommend this setting to anyone looking for a nursery.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 18 months and he is almost 4 now. I have to say they have been a fantastic nursery throughout and I couldn't fault them. The management team are really on their game and the nursery staff are just amazing. I really can't recommend them enough. If you are

a new parent confused about where to put your child, look no further, you've found your nursery.

Overall Experience

Both my children have attended this nursery. My little boy is currently there. I cannot express how lovely and homely this nursery is.
All the staff are attentive and so caring for all the children. Nothing is ever too much.
The outdoor space for the children to run around in is amazing also with

so much to do outside.
I would really recommend this nursery to anyone.

Overall Experience

My children have absolutely thrived at this nursery. I have been constantly impressed in terms of the variety of play and activities as well as with the quality and friendliness of staff. My children love going to nursery and are excited every day waiting outside to get in! The food variety is excellent

and 7.30 am starts are great for working parents.
It is a fantastic learning environment with dedicated nursery staff. I would absolutely recommend it to any parent.

Overall Experience

My child has a fantastic time at nursery and always comes home telling me stories of what he has done that day. He loves the garden and enjoys getting very wet and muddy when it rains.
They use an online journal as a parent link, which works great - always knowing what he has eaten etc.

Couldn’t ask for a better nursery for my child, she joined before she was 1 and I couldn’t be happier. The staff are all amazing and not sure what I would have done without this nursery. My child hasn’t had a great month with illness but the care my child receives is amazing.

Overall Experience

This is such a lovely, friendly nursery, my son has been attending since he was 8-months-old and he loves the staff and all the friends he has made. The outside space is brilliant, but they offer lots of different activities to occupy the children inside and out, even trips to the local park sometimes!

They provide lots of information and photos about my son’s days at nursery and the communication from all the staff and management with the parents is always excellent. Would definitely recommend it.

Overall Experience

My son joined in September last year with delayed speaking. Within two months of being at the nursery, he was talking and has continued to develop since. The nursery has a very outdoorsy approach to its care, which is why we initially choose this nursery. He also takes part in the yoga and forest school

sessions provided which he thoroughly enjoys. All the nursery staff are warm and friendly and have made the transition from being at home to going to nursery very easy. My son looks forward to going to ‘his school’. I would highly recommend Watcombe Children’s Centre Nursery.

Overall Experience

My daughter started in the under 3s room in January 2022. She was very wary at first, but the staff were so lovely and her keyworker was so good that it only took a few weeks for her to settle and be able to enjoy being there. It's three months later and she now gets visibly excited to pull up to nursery!

The staff always put photos up for us to see every day and give us a full rundown on her activities. Every day they do something fun! Anytime I've emailed an admin query they have been really quick to respond. I'm really glad we chose this nursery.

Overall Experience

I have two sons at the nursery and they have both enjoyed it so much. The outside space is absolutely amazing and they love playing outside. The nursery offers a fantastic range of activities for the children including a forest school session which my eldest son loves. I always feel well informed about
