Tops Day Nurseries - Muscliff, Bournemouth offers happy, nurturing care for the hours needed. They offer very flexible hours, and parents can book to the nearest 15 minutes, so that parents only pay for the hours that are required. The nursery also runs their Mini Beasts Club over the school holidays for children aged five to eleven.

The nursery recognises that every 15 minutes is important and offers parents flexible childcare so they only pay for the time they need. Tops Muscliff can offer 15 hours free funding which is available for two, three and four-year-olds.

This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.

While each child is at Tops Muscliff, families are more than welcome to call as often as they like to talk to a member of staff about their child and their day at nursery.

Staff record important information to share with families about children during their time at the setting, such as sleep times, nappy changes and information about their milk and food intake. This information is added to a daily report which is submitted onto EYLOG.

Tops Day Nurseries has introduced a no-added sugar menu to all nurseries, ensuring children start their time at nursery with a nutritional, healthy diet.

Lovely friendly staff, always focus on developing children. My daughter has been there since 2 years of age and she’s developed so much and nursery has definitely helped that too. She always comes home happy and enjoys going there, there’s never been any major incidents but even any small fall or bump
and they tell you straight away, but there is barely any from my experience.

My daughter seems to be really enjoying this nursery! Great that I am able to change my shifts and have so much flexibility with hours. Also, the nursery is very good size compared with some other ones.
Nursery's manager is always very helpful with any questions. She is really nice. Staff are very
lovely, professional and caring.
The only negative thing I was advised that parents still have to pay minimum 6 hours a week regardless if government funding some (after 3 years of age) which will be the only factor of changing it.

Absolutely fantastic school!!! Staff are fantastic!!!
Especially the lady who worked with my son a lot.
Wish I sent all my children here gutted I didn't know about this school sooner. Highly recommended.

I entered my daughter into the Mini Beasts Club over the Easter half term; she thoroughly enjoyed the learning activities they did and the staff were very professional and caring. The rooms were spacious and the security at the nursery was excellent.

My eldest has attended Tops Day Nursery - Charminster for over a year and loves going. The staff are so friendly and she feels comfortable going to any of them. Her younger sister has recently joined too and although in separate rooms they are close by. I really have never had any doubts about not sending
my girls to the right place.

My daughter has been attending for approximately 1 month and he has loved his time there which for first-time parents is a big relief. The staff are attentive and engaging ensuring they know what he likes and his speech has come on well already since starting. The staff are also very friendly and helpful
and communication is excellent when we have questions. This nursery is a good place for parents who work shifts with 15-minutes start/end times.

My little girl is excited every morning before nursery. She talks about each staff member by name and what she has been doing that day. I am always warmly welcomed as I walk in and am told how my daughter has been that day and what she has been up to. I get along with all the staff who are always happy
to listen and answer any questions. Highly recommend this nursery.

I occasionally use 'The Minibeasts' club for my daughter, aged 7. She always has lots of fun, with many different activities on. The staff look after her well and make sure she is settled in well. She will often not want to come home!

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 2. She will be starting school in September and I know that her time at Tops has helped make the transition from nursery to school that much easier.
She is clearly showing signs of being ready and her speech and reading development is brilliant for
her age. She loves coming to nursery and I know that the friendly staff are the reason behind this.
My daughter can be headstrong but the staff deal perfectly with this and I truly feel she is safe and cared for in their hands.

My son attends Tops Charminster and I can honestly say they are the 'top'
The care given to him and the time the nursery has taken to get to know him is invaluable. My son enjoys nursery and learns so much.

All 3 of my kids have gone to this nursery over the years and I think it's a great place to send them my youngest would never go to anyone or talk to anyone but me, but since I changed his nursery to Tops Charminster he has come right out of his shell with forest school and all the activities they provide
he feels safe and happy and now won't shut up.
To everyone I couldn't be more proud of him and it's all thanks to the staff who make him feel happy and safe that he can do anything and all the activities help his independence and growth and with great communication with staff to parents you don't miss a thing, they have everything logged so u can grow with your child. It's friendly, clean and very flexible, it's a great place to go, the kids learn great at pre school and make good friends and bonds. I will always recommend this nursery, the food is great freshly cooked everyday and my son eats it all, even asks for seconds and their snacks are great and gives the children the chance to pick and make their own so they enjoy it more.

Tops Charminster have been fantastic since day one with our little boy who started with them in the summer. After problems arising with other childcare, we felt that a nursery setting suited our situation and being able to book hours that you need to the nearest 15 minutes, it fitted with my work schedule
perfectly. All of the staff were brilliant with helping him settle in as he struggled with separation when he initially started. However the staff reassured me every day that once I had gone he was happily playing, which when I collected him I could see for myself as well. Using their online resources we are able to see his progress and the wide range of activities they do on a daily basis with photos videos and observations, as well as termly progress reports which are also communicated through his own key worker at open evenings. For us as parents these opportunities to review his progress are a fantastic way to make sure we are working along side the nursery to give our son the best learning experience we can. Our little boy has eczema and requires medicated cream to manage the condition, which has to be applied numerous times daily and the staff are really on top of this. As a parent I couldn't be happier with the care given at Tops and having seen the progress our little one has made in so many areas I look forward every day to hearing about what they have been up to.
