Tops Day Nursery - Bournemouth, welcomes babies from three months old and provides children with an excellent learning through play environment to help them develop through their pre-school years.

Tops Bournemouth's practice is inspired by Reggio Emilia and Scandinavian ethos – they believe that children should be surrounded by beautiful, aesthetic things and exposed to inspirational experiences. Tops Bournemouth put big emphasis on the they way children learn and the resources used in the nursery. In daily activities children have opportunities to use their imagination as well as develop critical thinking.

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in October 2016 with early years professionals dedicated to best practice, the nursery also has its own training team to ensure standards are kept high and up-to-date with childcare sector developments.

This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.

The nursery offers very flexible hours and parents can book to the nearest 15 minutes, meaning they only book and pay for the hours that suit them.

The nursery has a number of extracurricular activities such as Tops Cooking School, Tops Forest School, meditation, yoga, Rugby Rangers, Boogie Mites, tooth brushing and much more.

Families are always welcome to call to discuss their child and their progress at the nursery. Throughout the day, staff record important information about each child, such as sleep times and food intake. This is shared with families through EYLOG.

Lovely nursery overall. Very flexible with hours, like no others in the whole of Bournemouth and Poole. Quality education. Very pleased with the staff and their enthusiasm. Will miss Tops when we go to school!

The staff are always warm and friendly and appear to show a genuine interest in my daughters progress whilst attending Tops Day Nursery. They are quick and efficient at addressing any concerns I may have as a parent with regards to my daughters learning or social/physical development. They are great
at communicating my child's personal achievements and milestones through face to face contact or through the eyLog notifications online. I have no hesitation about leaving my daughter with staff who appear motivated and capable of making it a safe and happy environment for her to play in. I cannot thank them enough for their ongoing help and support.

Since joining Tops Day Nursery my son has developed in so many ways. He is more confident and balanced and looks forward to going into nursery everyday.
I think the best thing about Tops Day Nursery is the staff. They are friendly, welcoming, willing to answer any questions. I feel confident and happy
leaving my son with them.
I love that I get to see photos of what my son is up to, often making something fun.
Such a fantastic nursery, would highly recommend it.

My son has been going to Tops Day Nursery - Bournemouth since he was 8 months old, and has loved every minute. The staff are exceptional, the food is healthy and varied, and I am certain his development, speech and attitude is a direct reflection of their guidance.
I have had to use their services
in emergencies too and they are always willing to help, no matter how short notice.
I cannot review them highly enough.

Tops Day Nursery have been excellent for us and our little boy, the flexibility is unparalleled and the staff have been exemplary in helping us to arrange late day care in exceptional circumstances, always going the extra mile to help out. They really care for their children, and the staff are always
happy to listen to us and have a two-way relationship, especially when things are not quite going to plan. They always have advice and are quick to try to rectify any problems that may arise. Most importantly, my son, who is a bit shy, seems to have an absolutely great time there and has made friends with staff and other children alike, and often surprises us at home with things he has picked up from nursery. They are also really proactive on extra-curricular activities, with visits to the beach on the bus for example! Excellent.

This nursery has been great and our little boy looks as though he has enjoyed it. The staff are all excellent and update a personal online file for your child, informing you of everything that your child has done during their time at nursery. This even includes a few sneaky photos of them playing and
sometimes getting messy. I would highly recommend Tops Day Nursery - Bournemouth.

My daughter has been attending Tops Bournemouth since September 2015 she absolutely loves it and don't doubt it is because of the nurturing environment
She has had the opportunity to attend a forest school and has loved exploring nature and muddy puddles!

My little girl has been attending tops for a year and a half and she absolutely loves it! The staff are all amazing and very caring! The added extras such as forest school, cooking school are run very professionally, and are an extra bonus to my little girls day at nursery which she has so much fun,

I'd highly recommend Tops Nursery to my friends and family. My son has been going there since he was 11-months-old (he is now 2) and has always enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly with parents and kids, responsible and well trained. I wouldn't leave my child with anyone if not feeling entirely reassured.
He's treated well, taken care of and well fed. They have bilingual staff which helps my son development in English as well as in Spanish which is our mother tongue. Food is good and flexible hours are very useful when both parents work. All in all an excellent nursery, very happy with it!

My son has been going to Tops Day Nursery - Bournemouth for a couple of months now. I had a slight issue at first when my child would not settle into his class. However, after a very helpful and quick response, he was then moved. He has settled very well to the point where he runs in and can't wait
to get rid of me quick enough which I love to see. He is always so happy when I arrive to pick him up! The nursery always communicates with me and lets me know what he has done throughout the day, eaten, nappy changes etc. Whenever I call to see if he is OK, they are straight on the phone and always so positive. They always keep me updated on the app with pictures etc! My son loves the staff and other children and they love him too! I have already recommended this nursery to so many of my friends! Great people, great atmosphere and we are so glad we picked this nursery over others we looked at. We feel welcomed and at home! Thank you, guys!

Our daughter is only 18-month-old and absolutely loves the staff and her key worker at Tops Day Nursery.
She enjoys the interaction and is learning fast. The staff are great at keeping us informed about her development which we watch with delight on the Tops website.
Our son who is almost 5 attended
a different day nursery and I wish now we had sent him to Tops as well. Tops is much better in every single way, where the other nursery lacked communication with parents and enthusiasm with their children, Tops excels in those areas.
Its hard as a parent trying to find the best nursery for your baby, and then the last thing you want to do is move them once your baby is settled if you don't feel the nursery is living up to expectations.
With Tops, you won't have that issue.
Tops is a great Nursery, I wish we had used it before.

My daughter has been attending Tops since December and I am extremely pleased with the progress she has already. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough, the staff are extremely friendly and keep us updated with regular progress notifications with is fantastic. Before being at tops my daughter
attended another preschool and in comparison there is no competition. She is thriving very well at tops and is excited to go every time. I have no bad word to say about the nursery and would encourage anyone to consider it.

Really friendly staff and fantastic facilities. Love the observations we get provided updates on her development, especially the ones with pictures! The nursery staff really helped our daughter settle quickly despite only being in one day a week. Very impressed with the whole package.
