Tops Day Nursery Poole is a friendly and active nursery, based near to the Barclays building in Poole, on Denmark Lane.

The team of staff at Tops Poole care for children from three months until they reach school age, and provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and develop.

This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.

The nursery offers their Mini Beasts Holiday Club, which offers care for children aged five to seven-years-old and a range of extracurricular activities, including Tops Cooking School, Tops Forest School, meditation, yoga, Rugby Rangers, Boogie Mites and tooth brushing.

Tops Day Nursery Poole can offer 15-hours free for children aged two, three and four-years-old.

Families are welcome to call and speak to a member of staff about their child during their day at the nursery.

Staff record important information about each child to share with their families, such as sleep times, nappy changes and information about their food or milk intake. The information is added to a daily report and submitted on EYLOG.

Tops Day Nurseries has introduced a no-added sugar menu to all nurseries, ensuring children start their time at nursery with a nutritional, healthy diet.

My 2 children attend Tops Day Nurseries in Poole. They both settled in really well. The flexible booking is amazing and we’ve always been really impressed with the food menu. The staff really engage with the children, know their interests and help with their development. Both are always happy at pick

Both my children have gone here and loved every second. One of my sons has complex needs and requires a lot more help. They go above and beyond. The only nursery I'd ever trust. Incredible with both kids and parents. I have recommended it to many people. The staff are so lovely and caring. Never in
6 years of using this nursery have I had a bad experience. Fantastic nursery!

The day my son started this nursery, I knew he will love it. I have no worries at all about leaving my son in care with all the Tops Day Nurseries staff. Everyone makes sure that he is happy and comfortable. He always says his keyworker's name. I am very proud that he started to talk. A big thank you

I'm absolutely happy with Tops Day Nurseries: Poole Nursery. In 100% of cases my daughter comes out really happy and I see she enjoys it. The girls in the room are very friendly and caring to my baby. Even though English isn't our first language, she started speaking some words and counting.

My son is happy going to nursery as they have plenty of activities that he really likes. They take good care of my son during that time. They have a nice garden space where the children can play. We love that they have Halloween, book days, pirate days and lots more occasional days. We recommend the

My son attended from 9 months until he left for school. They've always been very flexible with timings and bookings which is great when you work different hours each week. So kind and caring towards my little boy and always tried to develop his interests. Varied activities each day. The lunch and dinner
menu was always healthy and interesting, with plenty of variety. I don't remember a day, in recent years at least, where he wasn't excited to go in.

Our usual nursery was closed due to the current circumstances, however, we still required childcare so contacted Tops.
The manager was so helpful and knowledgeable about my daughter's funding position I was filled with confidence. We booked childcare with only two days notice and were happily accommodated.
It was unusal dropping off my children to a setting I had not visited, but the member of staff who greeted us was very friendly I felt reassured, he was confident and my children were inquisitive about their new setting. When we collected our children, they were both exhausted having had to settle at a new setting, but both happy. Three weeks on, they both love attending Tops. They are happy to go to nursery and greet the staff in the morning and still happy when we collect them. Often covered in sand, they have been able to enjoy the outside space at the nursery and have had fun. I would definitely recommend Tops, their communication is brilliant, and they are very flexible making work arrangements easy.

Both of my children have attended this nursery with my son currently attending. The staff are so caring towards my child but also take the time and effort to get to know us as a family. I trust them with my child completely and that is the most important thing about choosing a nursery.

Our daughter has been going to Tops since she was 6 months old and is 3 now. She has been through all the rooms there and so we have worked with all the staff throughout the nursery. We have found them all to be very professional and caring, they are always loving and often cuddling children and providing
a loving environment. Our daughter has her days when she doesn’t want to be in nursery and the staff make such a great effort to make sure she enjoys herself. They could be reading books when we go in but the plan is very much subject to change if painting is what distracts her when we go in, next thing all the kids are rushing to paint! We love all the activities they do and how Tops is constantly coming up with new innovative, environmentally friendly ideas to stimulate and entertain the kids! Keep it up!

My daughter started at Tops Poole when she was nine months old and she is now four. She absolutely loves going to nursery and she has made so many friends.
The staff are very caring and professional and I am also kept up to date on the parent log so I know what my daughter has been doing during the
day.
My daughter has especially loved taking part in forest school and cooking school and they always plan lots of activities for the children every day. My daughter has grown in confidence, learnt how to handle her emotions, made friendships and is now preparing to start school this year. This is a lovely nursery with lovely staff.

Staff always appear polite, smiley and happy to both parents and child. They seem to really care. They go the extra mile when it comes to anything you may ask and always listen to your child's needs.
My child has built such a bond with several members of staff, and if he's sad, they know just how
to cheer him up.
The nursery has a great play and learning model, and have many activities, which changes frequently.
The menus are varied and healthy, with good choices.
All and all, I personally have no issues.

I had to go back to work full time when my son was ten months old and with him being my first, him being EBF and not taking a bottle, I was so worried about how he (and I) would cope. I shouldn’t have worried at all. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they’re flexible and they CARE. My little boy absolutely
loves going to nursery and he has come on leaps and bounds with his development since going here. As a shift worker, Tops were great in helping out with a flexible nursery pattern. I would highly recommend them. The babies wear cloth nappies (if that’s your thing), care about the environment, spend a lot of time outside with the kids, contact nap if needs be - love them.

My daughter started at the nursery in January and since going has developed so much confidence and interest in various things. She is much less wary of meeting new people now and absolutely loves interacting with the other children.
The staff in the nest/explorers have been nothing but supportive
and I have absolutely no doubt my daughter is receiving the best care.

The staff make my little boy feel so welcome every morning he comes in. The parent app is great as the staff keep me updated with what he’s eaten, when he slept and what he’s been up to during the day. He has progressed so much since starting at Tops just over a year ago.

My daughter has been attending Tops in Poole for nearly a year. She is very settled and I know she enjoys herself whilst she is there. Every day I can see on the app the activities she gets up to each day.
All the staff are welcoming, friendly and great with my daughter. I'm really happy that I managed
to get a place and I'm hoping my daughter will stay there until school.
