Co-op Childcare Cam have a sensory garden filled with scented plants like lavender and mint, so their children learn about lots of different smells and textures through teacher-led activities or exploring on their own.

They are big on happy children, they have areas for growing food, regular visits to local care homes and focus on taking care of each other and the world. They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that have big environmental differences.

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values to children, from encouraging them to make their own decisions to expressing their feelings. They have an app for parents/carers, ParentZone, which keeps them updated on how their little ones are getting on at nursery, from photos of their day, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

They are also big on safety which is why all their staff are paediatric first aid trained!

There are 4 home rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: 0-2 year olds, 2-3 year olds, 3-5 year olds. The nursery has a car park to the front of the building for easy access. There is a garden to rear and side of the building. The garden includes a nature area, a growing area, 2 soft play areas and a dedicated baby garden.

My daughter has attended Co-op Childcare Cam since she was 9 months old. She will be going to school in September. She has always been so happy at nursery, she has thrived and is more than ready for school. She has made very special relationships with the staff. I would 100% recommend Cam Nursery!

All the staff at the nursery are absolutely fantastic, my son is very happy there. I always hear that he’s had a wonderful day and he has made many friends. I am very thankful for the staff working incredibly hard throughout the pandemic whilst facing their own battles. You girls have been amazing,

Our son has attended Co-op in Cam since he was under a year and will be leaving to start school in September.
The staff all know my son very well and communication is excellent. He is very happy there and I know he will miss it when he leaves.
The food is all prepared on site which has been great
when we’ve had to eliminate parts of his diet at times. They have also been brilliant at helping teach self-care skills such as supporting with potty training.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who is looking for childcare!

My son has been attending Cam Nursery for the past 3 years, I can not praise the staff highly enough. Each and every member of staff goes above and beyond to ensure the happiness and security of our children. When issues have arisen, the staff and management have been there, whether it is to give advice
or to listen - they treat us parents as part of the nursery family. They are proud of our children’s achievements and show the children that they can do well and I can honestly say that I could not recommend them enough. The garden space is beautifully well looked after, and the children love to play outside - especially in the good summer months.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 18 months and has thrived here. She has made many friends and a best friend. The staff are all so caring and friendly and my daughter speaks about them all. They treat her like family and from the activities they do and how they care it is clear the children
absolutely come first. They do so many lovely activities, arts, crafts etc and spending time outside is also a big priority. I feel engaged as a parent both through the app and daily conversations. The staff have shown all of the above and beyond during the pandemic. Our daughter is so happy here, she is genuinely excited and happy each day going and I would not hesitate to recommend. We all feel really valued. The management team are excellent I would also like to add.

Cam Nursery has been such a great nursery for both my boys. My youngest is currently in the pre-school and is loving life. He has his own uniform and a home learning book which he enjoys completing at home with us, he says he is like his big brother now!
The care taken for him is also fantastic and
he is always happy and keen to go to nursery - love it!

I feel so lucky to have The Co-operative in Cam to care for my two children. The staff are always friendly and warm, and my son is so happy here. The manager and her team go to great effort to provide a safe and loving environment for the children they care for and adopt a very child-centred approach
which is fantastic. Just this week staff have taken great time and effort to help me prepare to send my second child here. I was given 1:1 time with the manager to ask questions and discuss all aspects of his care. This attention to detail and caring environment make for a nurturing space where my eldest son has thrived so far.

This nursery is fantastic! The staff are consistently helpful, friendly and approachable and we feel like they really get to know and understand our children. They are attentive to their needs and there is great communication not only with our children’s key workers, but all staff involved in their
care throughout the day. They come home happy after every session and are welcomed warmly on arrival. It’s also great to have regular updates about their day via the ParentZone app. We are extremely happy with the care our children receive and highly recommend this nursery!

This nursery is the best and the people that work there are amazing with the child and parents. My daughter had a horrific experience with her first nursery. I then put her into The Co-operative and I couldn’t ask for better. I would highly recommend it to anyone. My daughter has come on so far in the

Extremely happy with the care both my sons have received whilst at The Co-operative Childcare Dursley (Cam) Nursery. They both really enjoyed their time there. My eldest daughter has been attending this nursery for the last two and a half years and her little sister has just joined her.
Both girls are very happy here. The staff are very caring and lovely.

We love this nursery. My son’s key worker is fantastic, he loves her and she’s always wonderful with him. The nursery themselves are so good, very supportive and always happy to talk about what they are doing with the kids, how they are progressing, any areas of concern or conversely anything really
positive. Really can’t recommend highly enough.

I really can't recommend this nursery enough. My son has been going there for around 9 months and absolutely loves it. Allll the staff upstairs are amazing, and nothing ever seems to phase them or be too much trouble.


They've all been so welcoming, and always friendly and happy, which gives us complete

confidence that our son is being looked after.

Its a shame I can't mention names but what I can say is that my daughter is very happy at this nursery. My daughter is going to school in September of this year and has been at the nursery since she was 11 months old, during that time the staff have provided a safe and stimulating environment for her
and whenever I go to collect her at the end of the day she is happy, that speaks volumes!

Fantastic nursery, with professional friendly caring staff. My daughter is so content going and looks forward to seeing her assigned carer.


Lots of interactive activities for under 2s. Painting, baking, sensory play, outdoor play.
Help with getting to sleep and help with potty training.
