At Little Pioneers Cainscross they make friends across generations. Their children make regular visits to their local care home where they play games, learn songs and play creatively with residents.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their practitioners are paediatric first aid trained. They also have an app called Famly which keeps parents/carers updated on how their little ones are getting on at nursery, with photos of their day, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children. They are also silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They are big on happy children as they focus on taking care of each other and the world and have areas for growing food (and eating it!).

The nursery has two baby rooms for children aged three months to two-years-old, a room for two to three-year-olds and one for three to five-year-olds. The nursery has a large enclosed garden, with separate areas for under and over two's, which contains a soft play surface, paving slabs, bark and grass.

From the moment my two grandchildren started at the Coop Nursery Cainscross, they were happy. The environment is very positive, the staff exemplary. They were always met by happy smiling faces and at pick up time it was always brilliant to hear all the lovely activities undertaken during the session.

Co-op Childcare Cainscross is a fantastic nursery! The staff are very welcoming and the nursery manager is so friendly and helpful. We had a few settling-in sessions and attended the first with our daughter. We have noticed our daughter settle really quickly into the 2-3 room and she is always smiling
when we pick her up. Her interaction with her key worker and other staff there is lovely to see, they are very caring and kind.
The variety of activities they do are really engaging and keep her learning and growing in confidence with her language in herself generally. The facilities are excellent and she has had no problems transitioning part-time at Co-op whilst still at another nursery. We are looking forward to her going there full-time when more space becomes available, and for her preschool year.

Nothing is too much for this nursery when it comes to the care of children (and parents!).
Tailored care plans and activities for the children, encouraging their favourite activities. The happiness and care of the children really are at the forefront. Excellent meal choices and a variety of activities
and toys to play with. Any questions or queries are always answered promptly. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

The nursery is lovely - a really caring and nurturing environment, where my children have absolutely thrived. My eldest (just turned 4) has been at the nursery since he was 1 and now loves being in the preschool room - the nursery is a real home from home for him. My younger child has just started in
the baby room and has settled really quickly and is very content to go to nursery.
All the staff are great and staff turnover seems low so children get to really know the staff and develop lovely relationships.

My child loves attending Co-op Childcare Cainscross nursery. His development has come on so much and he loves everyone at the nursery. Have been very impressed with the nursery. My child joined as a baby and is now in preschool and has had fantastic care throughout. Great app which lets you know how they are eating and sleeping throughout the day as babies. Staff always have time for you and are simply wonderful with the children.

This is my second child to attend this nursery. All the staff offer fantastic care. The facilities are good and toys/games are changed regularly so children don’t get bored. Communication is good via the online system and in person.

I can't fault this nursery at all. The staff are fantastic and put so much love, care and attention into what they do. Sending my children here was the best decision I have made for their education. They are always so happy to go in and come home excited to tell me about their day.
One member of staff,
in particular, has been brilliant with both my children who have built lovely bonds with her and she has worked so hard to get them ready to start school.

Cainscross Co-op nursery has been like an extended family to us. Both our children have attended there, with our youngest still in attendance, and we can only rave about the kindness, dedication and utmost care every single member of staff has shown us and our children. We can go to work safely in the
knowledge that our child is well looked after and that his best interest is always put first.

My daughter has just started at the nursery and I have been delighted with it so far!
The management and staff are super friendly, caring and professional! We have informative feedback at the end of each day about all the fun she has been up to as well as caregiving information such as nappies, meals
and sleep. You can tell the staff really do care for the children that attend and nothing has been too much to ask!

My son started this nursery in September 2022 and absolutely loves it. He was a bit upset to settle but the team really gave him the support and now he is thriving. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I get updates throughout the day on their app and a detailed chat when I pick him up of what he
has been up to during the day, nothing seems to much trouble! He has a good range of meals and nutrition. I highly recommend this nursery

Amazing. Not just childcare but a real education and excellent grounding for school. My son has so much fun and loves his trips to the care home or Sainsbury's for a babyccino! We’ve had two children there from 1 until almost 5 and now our youngest is 2 and loving his time at nursery.

Just amazing, totally professional, caring and diligent. The staff and their programme have wonderfully engaged my 23 month daughter, bringing her on beautifully. After only a few sessions she transformed. Highly recommended.

I have an extremely busy, loud, and active 3-year-old boy and I was worried he would be too much for them. But, they haven't batted an eyelid. They have embraced him and love him. He is so happy and I can relax knowing that my son can be himself and that they are brilliant at their jobs.

My daughter goes to the nursery once a week and she seems to really enjoy it. The staff are very friendly and communicate well with my partner and I. They always tell us about her day and what activities she has done. If there are any concerns they contact us promptly or discuss when we pick her up.
Our daughter was born during the covid pandemic and nursery has helped her develop into a very confident toddler. The App is great too as it puts our anxieties at ease by seeing what she eats when she sleeps, and nappy change etc.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 6 months old. He seems to really enjoy it. The staff are amazing and very good at communicating. I was really nervous about him starting due to Covid and not being able to join him on his settles but they made me feel at ease. Nothing is too much and
they do everything to make sure myself and child are supported and comfortable. The bond my son has with his key worker is incredible. 100% recommend anyone to send their child here

I initially used the Co-op Childcare Cainscross in 2011 with my son and daughter. I looked around all the nurseries in the area but no other compared to this nursery. I was completely won over by the kind and caring nature of the staff. The staff were so well engaged with the children and the atmosphere
was so calm and caring.
More recently I used the nursery again in 2019 for my third child. I found this a really difficult time, but staff were gentle in supporting me and my son with his settling in sessions. I felt reassured that he was safe, settled and cared about by the people that were looking after him. The communication and handovers are really personalised to my son and a lot of thought and planning is taken when planning activities with him. My son loves nursery and is so fond of all the staff, I feel involved in his time at nursery and the team are incredible, everyone is so kind and its so lovely that some of the staff are still here from 2011. An incredible nursery!
