At Little Pioneers Cainscross they make friends across generations. Their children make regular visits to their local care home where they play games, learn songs and play creatively with residents.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their practitioners are paediatric first aid trained. They also have an app called Famly which keeps parents/carers updated on how their little ones are getting on at nursery, with photos of their day, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children. They are also silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They are big on happy children as they focus on taking care of each other and the world and have areas for growing food (and eating it!).

The nursery has two baby rooms for children aged three months to two-years-old, a room for two to three-year-olds and one for three to five-year-olds. The nursery has a large enclosed garden, with separate areas for under and over two's, which contains a soft play surface, paving slabs, bark and grass.

The girls at Co-op Childcare Cainscross are so lovely and make everyone feel welcome.
My child has been attending since she was in the baby room and absolutely loves coming to nursery. The range of activities and resources are amazing.

Our daughter has been in Co-op Childcare Cainscross nursery for nearly 3 years. She is currently in Preschool. She’s always enjoyed going to nursery. She does a very wide range of activities that push her development and keep her engaged. We get regular updates from staff of progress and what she’s
doing also including monthly next steps. We know that when she goes to nursery we can relax knowing she is safe and well looked after.
The food is great and cooked fresh on-site every day. Her key workers have all been enthusiastic and shown their genuine interest in our daughter’s development. They’ve managed Covid really well. We highly recommend this nursery.

Since sending my son here in August 2020, we have noticed that he has come on leaps and bounds. He now walks into nursery saying and waving goodbye to me and his dad.
I love the app and how they keep you updated about his progress and what he has been up to.
My son loves all of the food they provide,
and sometimes has seconds.
All of the staff are so friendly, wonderful and generally seem interested in your life and his.
I’m so glad we sent our son here and have and will continue to recommend this nursery to friends and family.

During unprecedented times all staff have been great. They have helped settle my 9 month old into the nursery in 2020 after not seeing or being around anyone but family and her keyworker had been fantastic with her. She really enjoys going and it is lovely to have the parent app to see what they are
doing and eating daily too. I would highly recommended. Have been great at accomodating extra sessions when required also.

My little girl has a wonderful time, being only 1 she has found it difficult to settle, all staff have been amazing working with her, she now goes in happily. My daughter also has dietary needs, nursery have been great at accommodating these. Always very friendly and informative. Happy baby, happy mummy.

My daughter started nursery when she was just over a year old and I was apprehensive about leaving her, but she has settled in so well and enjoys attending. Her key worker is so warm and friendly and made me feel at ease straight away. All the girls are great with my daughter, she does so many activities
and has been out to the park too.

I love my boy's nursery, I was very apprehensive before he started as he has quite a few allergies and specialist formula but the nursery soon put my mind to rest and my boy still gets to eat yummy food that the chef prepares for him.


He adores his main person Katie and all the staff. I love the

fact they do some much with him. especially being outside and trying all sorts of new things like painting etc.

Brilliant professional nursery. The staff are very warm and welcoming. My daughter is fussy about who she will go to but sometimes even waves me goodbye. She has an amazing time. Everything is done thoroughly, even the food is cooked by a chef. Everything the children need is provided. Meets my expectations
and more! Highly recommended!

The nursery has been wonderful with my son. They have taken time to understand his individual needs, and the staff are genuinely caring. They offer brilliant support in a number of different areas and he is very happy to go there. He has made friends and enjoys such a range of play activities. I cannot
recommend the nursery highly enough! He loves going and sometimes doesn't want to leave because he is so involved in his play. Thank you to all the staff for their care and genuine love - it is a wonderful place for him to be!

My son has been going to Cainscross Co-operative Nursery for nearly 2 years now and my daughter is soon to start. When we moved to the area I spent a lot of time going around the different nurseries in the area as his previous one was so good. As soon as I walked in and shown around Cainscross I knew
it was the nursery for us. The setting is great, care is perfect, food is brilliant and the staff are fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and supportive, nothings a problem.
I would highly recommended this nursery to anyone in the area.

I have used this nursery over the past 5 years for both my children and I have been and I am still extremely happy with the care, love and attention both my children have been given when at the nursery.
All the staff are brilliant and are in the job because they want to be there and actually care
for the children not just because they have to be.
They always stick to any requirement I have asked to be put in place for my children even if different to protocol is (for example letting my child nap after lunch right up until leaving for school when most of the older children don’t nap).
The food the children are given during their day is brilliant.
Finally, I think what says it all for me is that my children have felt safe, secure and happy when there and go running in feeling welcomed and loved even my eldest who has now left is always welcomed back. They are not just a number but each child an individual who is nurtured and cared for in a way best for them.

The staff are wonderful and are very good with our son who at times doesn’t want to be left at nursery. However as soon as we get into the building and he has walked into the toddler room the staff are there for a big cuddle with him and I can go knowing that he is going to have a fun packed day and
by the time we pick him up we struggle to get him to leave. Thank you for making his Thursdays lots of fun!

Staff are always friendly and professional, and my child enjoys his time at the nursery. He even wonders in by himself, which is amazing considering he is usually very clingy and wouldn't want to be parted from me, so he must be happy there!

My little boy has been at Cainscross Nursery for 3 years and I can honestly say the nursey is excellent. The staff are very friendly and are very approachable if we have any queries or problems with anything. The children receive freshly cooked food on a daily basis with lots of variety. I highly recommend
this nursery and will be sending my next child there when the time comes.

Fantastic nursery, the staff are very friendly and put you at ease if you have any issues or concerns. They listen to you and have the best interests for your children. My son loved coming here and he was able to come out of his shell and had the confidence to be who he wanted to be and be expressive.
The staff are always willing to help and work with you. They always tell you how they got on and what they did at nursery and also how they were on the day. The staff are very friendly and caring.

The co-operative Nursery Cainscross, have helped shape my son from a baby to a clever little boy. I will be highly recommending the nursery to anyone whom is looking for a safe and loving environment for their precious child.
