Busy Bees Quedgeley is situated in a purpose-built nursery within the Green Farm Estate. A lovely welcoming and homely nursery with a safe, large garden, which is soon to be re-furbished and have ample parking making drop off and pickups convenient and safe for children and parents. The beautiful nursery has three base rooms, all on one level with secure garden access for each.

The nursery prides itself on its care and dedication to all children, with a very strong and enthusiastic and knowledgeable team, who always strives to provide the best care and quality education for the children. Staff at Busy Bees Quedgeley pride themselves on their commitment to Partnership working with Parents.

Every child is valued for their own individual personalities and learning style and ensures that when staff are planning activities for children, they base this on their interest.

A key person system is in place enabling professionals to focus on any the specific development and challenges each child faces, while the facility and grounds are ideal for numerous activities and physical play.

The nursery acknowledges that children are curious about the world around them and reflected in the wide selection of resources to engage that curiosity and explore their environment. The nursery offers phonics and mathematic activities in the pre-school and introduces these in a fun and stimulating way. All Busy Bees Staff deliver a programme of stimulating exciting activities from messy play, gardening, sensory play, home corner with real-world items helping children to reach their full potential.

We have found the staff to be caring and patient, important attributes given our child has only recently started nursery for the first time.
The baby room team have been amazing at helping my son settle into his new surroundings.
The staff are incredibly lovely and patient with the babies. I have
full confidence in them.
I can’t thank the team enough for the amazing work they do.
Great learning place. I couldn’t have chosen a better nursery.

My child joined just as the nursery reopened after COVID-19 closure and had a different experience to what I was initially hoping for on her Feb 20 registration.
The correspondence from the nursery throughout that period before joining was great, the reception lady was particularly helpful with who
to contact and sending forms again. Our settle sessions were different to anticipated and as a parent to reduce risk I couldn’t go into the room with my daughter but I was in the next room and she happily toddled in without me. She was able to come back and see me whilst I filled paperwork out with her lead, and still able to get the relevant points across. As a parent, it was harder to not have that awareness of the room setups and seeing the resulting mess, so the staff provided some photos on asking. My daughter has really enjoyed it so far and although the continued restrictions are in place, the nursery is adapting sufficiently to the benefit of the children to mean she is happy.

All 3 of my children have attended Busy Bees Quedgeley from babies up to pre-school over the last 12 years, the youngest is currently still enrolled. I have always found the nursery clean, well equipped, and most importantly a friendly open environment with excellent communication. There is always someone
to talk to should you have any queries and session feedback is given at the end of every day. Great outside area and lots of indoor activities. Food is fresh and there is lots of variety. Individual needs have been catered for and all 3 of my children have come home happy and developed good bonds with the team there. It is competitively priced with other nurseries in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend Busy Bees to anyone.

I can recommend Busy Bees. My daughter has recently started there and the joining process is very well organised. It has been hard for my little one having been at home for the last six months but the staff have been very reassuring, kind and patient. I like that the building is bespoke so it is designed
with little ones in mind. It feels spacious and fun but also safe and secure.

As a first-time mother, I was apprehensive to leave my baby with someone else - went and had a look around and the staff were so helpful, honest and caring! I knew straight away that my child would be well looked after! Almost 3 years on and I can admittedly say that I am so happy I made the decision
for her to go to Busy Bees! The attention, love and care that the manager and each teacher puts in with all the children is outstanding and can not be faulted by anyone, not forgetting the nutritious and yummy food that is prepared daily!
The flexibility of adding extra sessions when needed is also a great bonus! Thank you to the team for looking after our babies as your own!

My 3 and a half year old daughter has been in Busy Bees Quedgeley since she was 14 months and has transitioned from the baby to toddler room and now is in preschool. I would have no hesitation in recommending Busy Bees Quedgeley to other parents. The staff are wonderful with my daughter, they genuinely
care. She is happy, secure and developing well there. It’s a joy to pick her up in the evening and hear about the happy day she has had. I recently went back to work full time (from 3 days) and was worried about how she would be and she has remained really happy. The staff seem happy to be there and are always more than happy to help with any enquiries.

My daughter started at Busy Bees Quedgeley in March and then went back after lockdown in July. The staff at Busy Bees Quedgeley have been amazing with helping her get settled again. All the staff are really friendly and always keep me up to date with my daughter's progress.

My stepdaughter has settled in very well. The staff are very good and explain everything. My stepdaughter always appears happy. She enjoys the various activities.
She gets on well with the staff and the other children. The Managers are really helpful, nothing is ever too much there has been a real
change since they took over and the nursery is amazing, I love the extra sessions too. A happy, friendly nursery with helpful, caring staff who always greet you with a smile on their face. Lots of fun, arts and craft activities to do and baking etc. I would definitely recommend Busy Bees nursery to a friend.

My husband and I have had our children within Busy Bees for the last 6 years, and I must say it is at its absolute peak. The management has transformed the nursery to more of a community, a welcoming place to go and pick up the children, and all of the staff seem united and as one. Procedures have changed
within the last year, for the better, and you are always welcomed with a smile at the door. For people who work such long hours and shifts, this is really refreshing, especially after a long commute back from work. I would not hesitate to recommend or send any future children to this nursery with the current curriculum and staff in place. Keep up the good work guys!

I am exceptionally delighted with the Quedgeley Busy Bees. The standard of care and attention my child receives is second to none, the meals are great, the activities and the focus given to my child is above and beyond. It is wonderful to see how dedicated the nursery workers are and it is clear as
the children always look eager to see what fun they will be having today! Every day seems to be something different, but with staff members being a safe constant contact, my child has the stability needed to feel confident. I recommend this nursery to all my friends. The management is exceptional as well and provides the perfect bridge between what I need to get done and making sure my child is developing. Nothing ever seems to be too much for them and there is always one if not both managers greeting us with a big smile and hello. I would highly recommend Busy Bees to anyone and would push for them to see it for themselves. Well done Busy Bees Quedgeley!

My stepdaughter has started at Busy Bees Quedgeley and it was clearly the best decision we made. We looked around the day we randomly turned up, both managers greeted us all with a big smile and welcomed us there and then. They were able to answer every question we had, they clearly know their stuff
and love their nursery. From that point, we knew this was right for our little lady.
On her settles, the staff were fantastic and nothing was an inconvenience. The staff are brilliant, welcoming, are great at easing the children and parents in. The children always seem to be happy. Every time we have dropped off and collected, we are always greeted with a smile and hello on first name terms. This is fabulous, seeing as it's been a few weeks. The room is lovely and clean. There are pictures of the children and art all over the room which is lovely to see. Our little lady absolutely loves going in to see her friends. Absolutely fantastic nursery and I would recommend it to anyone!

The nursery and staff are fantastic. My son has only attended for a short while, but he has come on leaps and bounds. The management is great and easy to talk too and the practitioners are really friendly and helpful. There are lots of role-play and messy fun for the kids to get stuck into. Overall

Busy Bees in Quedgeley has been a fantastic nursery for both my boys over the past 6 years. They have thoroughly enjoyed going and have loved their time there, never complaining or crying when dropped off and made so many friends there through all stages. Both were very upset to leave.


They have

learnt so many life skills and gained confidence with the very attentive staff and been fully prepared for their next school. The learning journals were very well produced and updated with photos and detailed comments which was great to take away at the end as a souvenir and something to look back on. The food menus were so good and varied it put our food at home to shame!


The managers there have been so kind and professional over the years.

I have been lucky to have both my daughters attend Busy Bees in Quedgeley,
The staff are friendly and always make time to have a chat and tell me about my girls day,
My daughter is starting school in September, Busy bees have been amazing with links to the schools, Teachers visits and the preschool
room setting up activities to support this.
The new management team seem to have made some positive changes, I even get a free coffee to take to work. I like the fact that I and my girls are greeted with a cheery smile and the management actually know our names. Personal touches that mean a lot.
The purpose-built building really works. The rooms are bright and welcoming and the garden is great!
Happy busy children equal very happy mummy :)

My two children have been attending Busy Bees in Quedgeley for 2 years now. Over those 2 years, I have seen a real change. The Nursery seems to be completely different. My children both come in and leave nursery happy and this makes me know I have made the right choice. Over the last 3 months, there
has been a tremendous change especially as there has been new management at the Nursery. The rooms are wonderful, calm and clean, the staff are happy and cheerful, the Managers are fantastic and nothing is ever too much for them. They always greet the parents with a cheery hello and beaming smile. The resources are out of this world, the children are really given some amazing opportunities. The children are given a beautiful balanced diet and they always have a clean plate!
I strongly advise more parents to have a look around and see for themselves. The best nursery I have seen by far!

This nursery is very welcoming and inviting for my children. Although one has not settled very well, the girls in first steps are very easy going with her and work very hard to make sure she is comfortable with her surroundings. The pre-school staff have made him feel very welcome and feel very pleased
about how he has come on with his development. He is a much more outgoing and positive child. The manager at Busy Bees is a very understanding and firm manager who is sometimes excellent/professional at her job.

Amazing staff who have really helped my twins settle into nursery life and have also helped me come to terms with leaving my babies to go back to work. My girls really enjoy going there and have made some strong connections with their key-worker and other members of staff. They eat well, having delicious
home-cooked food and healthy snacks. They have plenty of opportunities for messy play and go outdoors regularly in a lovely enclosed, safe garden that captures their interest. Would highly recommend and have done already!

My son enjoys going into Pre-School and always comes home with a story to tell about what he has been doing with his key worker and his friends. He has a really good relationship with his key worker and she works hard with him to keep challenging him. I spoke to her when I was a little concerned when
he wasn't holding his pencil properly and she made special effort to work with him and now he loves nothing more than to draw lots of pictures, which I love taking home at the end of the day and he's very good at writing his own name now!
He eats really well and loves the fresh food served up daily and he has plenty of opportunities to run around in the garden. At the moment he loves practising Christmas songs for the Pre-School Carol Concert, and I often get all the songs sung to me on the way home in the car, which I just love!
We'll both be sad to leave Busy Bees and his keyworker behind when he goes to school next September.

Hello, my name is Chloe and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Quedgeley. I have worked for Busy Bees since 2018 and have had the pleasure of working in many of our centres. 


 I am level 3 qualified. first aider, safeguarding, SENDCo training, food hygiene and many more.


I have been working with children since I was 16. I love working with children and I am very excited about bringing fresh ideas and activities to the Centre. 


I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our nursery in Quedgeley.
