My daughter moved from another nursery settling to Pebbles Nursery when she turned 3 years. I was a little anxious about her starting in a new setting but she settled in very quickly. I have found the staff excellent, always greeting the children with smiles and laughter. My daughter loves attending
and she speaks very fondly of the staff.


There is always good communication by staff to parents and they have recently started forest school session which the children love. I would definitely recommend the preschool to my family and friends.


I have put satisfactory for cleanliness and for food option to be able to submit however I have not been able to review inside cleanliness due to Covid restrictions and food-wise my daughter takes her own lunch box in but they do provide healthy snacks.

Fantastic setting. Wonderful, friendly staff who are always willing to go above and beyond their duties. Showed my son great care and understanding and have always been very supportive of his additional needs. Transition to school was helped and supported by the staff and management. My son excelled
due to the staff working on his targets. Great communication between all staff and parents. Would highly recommend.

A poorly managed understaffed nursery. They have no real understanding of SEN - avoid if you have a child with any additional needs. Every excuse in the book to not work on my child’s targets hence no progress made. Told me my child couldn’t have extended hours due to being SEN - discrimination at its
worst?
High-level management doesn’t care - nursery is part of Barnados group who have another 3 nurseries in Gloucester. Avoid!

Children’s charity Barnardo’s takes all complaints very seriously but does not recognise any element of this description of Pebbles Nursery.
The most recent Ofsted inspection judged the nursery to be ‘outstanding’.
The report gave the highest grades in how well our staff meet the needs of the range of the children who attend, their contribution to the wellbeing of children, and the effectiveness of the leadership and management.
