Tops Musgrove has a warm, welcoming and friendly team, who cater for children from three-months-old until they are ready to start school.

This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff. The nursery offers flexible childcare, recognising that parents' time is valuable and every 15 minutes counts. This means that parents only pay for the care they need.

During each child's time at Tops Musgrove, families are more than welcome to call as often as they like to talk to a member of staff about their child and their day at nursery. During a child’s day at nursery, staff will record important information to share with families, such as sleep times, nappy changes and information about milk and food intake. This information is added to a daily report which is submitted onto EYLOG.

The staff at Tops Musgrove have been fantastic with my little one who has really struggled to transition from nursery to pre-school. They are very understanding and work really hard to ensure that appropriate strategies are used with my son when he struggles with us leaving at drop off time. The experiences
and facilities are excellent and my son this year has experienced beach, forest and cooking schools and developed so many skills from these sessions which he has enjoyed very much. The flexibility of sessions and bookings are also excellent and I cannot recommend this setting enough.

Tops has looked after my son since he was ten months old and he loves it there. The staff are friendly and caring and form real bonds with the children. They are really focused on the kids' development, as well as their emotional support.
There is an electronic feedback app, that means you can keep
up with your child's development and looking at the pictures and little videos is really lovely. They have loads of extra classes (forest school. cookery school, gardening club, football club) which my son has really loved.
They are also extremely flexible and will try to help out at the last minute if they can at all. They have a flexible approach to booking, which means that we can book the sessions we need and not just on fixed days, which really suits us as shift workers.
I recommend them to everyone I meet.

My son started at Tops Musgrove in November 2018. He was a very shy boy and I had worried about him starting school the following September due too him being only just 4 when he would be starting.
The staff at Tops have completely turned my little shy boy around and he has so much confidence and has
come in leaps and bounds in the short time he has been there. I no longer have the worries about starting school and actually feel that he will be completely ready when the day comes and all of the credit has to go to the excellent staff, especially his key worker.
It was also fantastic to be able to see his progress with the eylog and it brightened my day to see the little videos and pictures just showing how he was getting on.
Thank you so much to all of the staff at Tops Musgrove.

Tops Nursery create a great atmosphere for the kids to have fun as well as learn. They also look out for the wellbeing of kids, creating a safe environment for them.
My daughter has had a great time being there since November 2018 and the flexible hours have been good for me as a working mother.

I have two boys aged 3 and 1 and they both love it at Tops Musgrove. The nursery staff are friendly, loving, professional and they really care about all the children that they look after. They get to know each child's interests and they personalise their learning so the children feel listened to and
comfortable when they are away from home. I know when I leave my boys at Tops they are in a safe place with people who I trust and when I pick them up they are always happy. My eldest Son likes to tell me about his day with a smile on his face both boys always have fun at nursery! I can’t really fault tops, the hours are flexible, the rooms are clean and tidy, there are always different activities planned and the teachers are encouraging and supportive. Both my children are growing in confidence and learning new things every day. Thank you Tops and all the wonderful staff and teachers you do an amazing job and I would highly recommend our nursery to everyone.

Tops Musgrove is a fantastic nursery! The environment and variety of learning through play activities are excellent and they are extremely flexible regarding bookings and hours, which is great for shift working. The staff are so kind and caring and consistently go above and beyond to develop the special
qualities of each child and meet the needs of our family.
My daughter loves her days at Tops and has developed special bonds with all her key-workers. I know when she is there she feels safe and cared for, I honestly can’t recommend Tops Musgrove enough!

Tops at Musgrove have been excellent for my daughter, making her truly thrive.
All the extra activities that they offer, such as forest/beach school, are brilliant as she loves getting out and about. But she equally loves playing in the garden and in the room with the other children. She runs up to
us with a huge smile on her face at the end of every day.
We have found all of the staff really friendly and helpful, never failing to answer any questions and looking after my daughter brilliantly.
The hours/days are very flexible for shift workers and people who work non-standard hours, providing care at times no other nursery can offer.
We have no hesitation in sending our other daughter when I go back to work soon. Would really recommend.

Cannot fault this nursery, always there to support my little boy with any issues he has, he has a speech delay and they have arranged him some speech and language therapy, and if he goes into his room upset, there is always someone to give him a cuddle and make sure he's okay. Good range of activities
and good outside space for my son to play in, and even some friendly rabbits! Brought my son out of his shell massively, couldn't be happier!

My daughter has been going to Tops Musgrove since she was 9 months old and has loved every second of it (she is nearly three now). All the staff are really friendly and genuinely care about the well-being of the children. In her current room, she benefits from a wide range of stimulating activities
and has developed strong relationships with the other children and caregivers! The nursery staff were even able to kick-start the potty training process for me and are always on hand for reassurance. I’m so proud of what a confident little girl she is when she is enjoying her nursery time.

My daughter goes nursery here and has become a massive fan of entering the doors without crying which took time and perseverance, though she is at her most comfortable when she enters nursery. She has come a long way with her motor-skills, speech and level of understanding through being around the other
children in her class and the nursery staff that she has there to help guide her each time she attends.


I highly recommend this nursery to anyone that is wishing to send their children to nursery, value for money and rewarding knowing your child is in great care and more importantly having non stop smiles on their faces from start to finish.

A lovely nursery, many of the staff have taken a personal interest in my little boy despite not working closely with him. Tops have really aided my little boy’s development through fun activities. My boy really enjoys the forest school and cooking club and gets a great sense of achievement for creating
a dish each week. The cooking staff do a wonderful job at creating a rotating healthy menu and offer 'leave out' recipes for parents to try at home.
Each day the staff set up new activities for the children creating a great environment to learn and play. Can’t fault the care and wouldn’t send him anywhere else.

I came to Tops Day Nursery after seeking alternative care for my children following being disappointed at a previous setting. We were instantly made to feel welcome and given all the nursery details, a tour of the nursery and offered some trail times.


I couldn't have been happier and my son absolutely

loved the trail sessions. We have now been coming to the nursery for a couple of months and we have never looked back or been disappointed.

My children love coming to this nursery and they love the staff members that look after them. The activities that they can participate in are great, my son loves going to forest school.
The staff working in the rooms are always happy and helpful and nothing is ever too much for them they have been
accommodating with helping with my daughter's dietary requirements when she first started the nursery and always give good hand overs when I go to collect her.
The new invoicing system is confusing but staff members in the office are always very helpful at answering any questions I have.
I do think that the food prices should be incorporated into the nursery fees.

Tops Day Nursery - Musgrove helped our family not just for childcare but wider as a family struggling with some difficult situations. They always responded in a caring as well as practical manner. I have recommended their services to many others. We used regular daycare for over 3 years 5 days a week
and now we use mini beasts in the holidays. The staff are professional but caring. A first class service that we really needed and our granddaughters have benefited from.
