Farley, Salisbury Outdoor Nursery School, located in the village of Farley, provides day care for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years. The nursery is divided into 5 groups which are each designed to provide the best learning environment for different age ranges.

They are open Monday-Friday, with the exception of bank holidays, and offer full and half day sessions (morning or afternoon).

Situated in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, the nursery offers a unique outdoor learning experience. The experienced team are focused on finding unique ways to guide children through their early years education, using every opportunity to use the beautiful countryside setting to enhance learning and development.

The nursery provides a varied and nutritional menu, with an on-site chef ensuring children are offered their 5-a-day. All dietary needs can be catered for, and menus regularly change, meaning every meal time is a chance to learn about different foods and encourage positive habits.

My son has been attending this nursery for 17 months and at first I was worried as we’d not intended to send him until he qualified for free hours but Farley stood out to us as a wonderful setting, and it is! The staff is so friendly and lovely with the children, they also seem happy at work which speaks
volumes.
Their fees include everything the kids need, including all meals which are varied and seasonally appropriate.
It’s an outdoor nursery which IMO is the best for kids of this age, my son always comes out at pick-up with a huge smile on his face. All the kids are always smiling.
Communication is excellent, they’re very easy to get hold of and provide daily updates even though my son only does half days.
Farley also holds regular events for families like Mother's Day Tea, Sports Day, Parents Evening, etc which gives the nursery a real family feeling.
I would recommend Farley to anyone seeking a great nursery for their children.

The team at Farley are wonderful, and the transition from baby room to Bee Garden has been so easy; my daughter loves her time at Farley and we cannot wait for my younger daughter to join soon! The recent updates to the kitchen and menu mean even I am jealous of the lunches!

Farley Nursery in Farley continuously blows me away with its support, warmth and care. They always go over and above. It feels like everyone that works there knows and takes a personal interest in each child. It feels like a family. Our family went through a tough transition in 2022 and Farley was a

A really special place. My son bounces in every morning, and the nativity is such a wonderful experience we will always remember. The staff arranged a face-to-face meeting when I was concerned about my son and his potty training and really showed they cared.

Farley is just the best. Our little girl loves going in every day, she really enjoys the free flow of the setting as she has her very own favourites that she wants to walk around and see. The staff are all so fabulous and really care. Our daughter's speech and confidence have come on so much since being
at Farley. We wouldn't want her to be anywhere else and we are very excited for our little boy to start in 2023.

My daughter started at Farley back in June 2022. I was very emotional at the beginning to leave her after being glued to each other for nine months. The staff were super friendly and really reassuring. Which gave me the confidence to leave her and know she was in safe hands. I cannot fault Farley and
my daughter is thriving from being there. I would 110% recommend Farley Nursery to friends and family.

Both children started at Farley at six months old. The transition, settling and further four years for each were simply fantastic. Their home from home with so much creativity and joy. The staff inspire and support and most importantly help children love learning and resilience. Both girls are now at
school and both of their new teachers said they always know when a child comes from Farley as they are super friendly, independent, and capable! Not just to learn, take turns but use cutlery and go to the toilets unassisted. I cried a lot when they finished and miss the staff and fun events terribly.

Farley is an incredible place. The children are so well cared for and the parents are made to feel welcome. The staff take time to get to know your child on an individual basis and adapt to suit their needs. You feel as though there is a genuine love for every child in their care. They are given some
brilliant experiences such as bonfires, camel visits, water activities in the summer, ballet classes, and French lessons (in the oldest class) and they often have visits from professionals from different industries to talk to the children. The food is homemade and they are served a wide variety of foods. They have recently had a brand new kitchen installed. The huge outdoor space means it's not a noisy overbearing atmosphere like some indoor nurseries. Children are given the freedom to explore the natural world around them. My two both (as babies) had naps outside in vintage prams and napped brilliantly. I would 100% recommend Farley Nursery School.

We have been a part of Farley since my eldest was ten months old and now have a 3-year-old daughter who attends every day. It's the most magical start you could wish for. Snails, mud, sand, big builds, tree swings and a huge field to let their imagination run wild. The staff are amazing, nurturing and
interested in offering the very best care. I could not be happier with our choice of childcare.

Farley Nursery School is such a special place, and we couldn’t love it more. My two girls (age 3 and 1) have attended since 9-months-old, and they are just so excited to go in every day. The outdoor ethos isn’t like anything I’ve seen before, but it’s been the best decision we’ve made for our children.
It’s clear to see that they are both growing into independent, kind and happy children. The bond that they both have with the staff is just so wonderful to see. You can tell that they genuinely love their roles looking after all of the children with such compassion. So much planning and thought goes into their daily activities to make sure they are engaging and enjoyable for the children. It’s the perfect fun environment for inquisitive young minds, and I 100% recommend Farley.

My child has been at Farley Nursery since last September. He settled in within days and has been truly happy there ever since. He is making some wonderful friends and adores all the staff.
It is the kind of place you picture children being at their happiest in your dreams - incredible outdoor space
to explore, run around, get messy in, develop their imagination and find their own boundaries. The facilities are magical; an amazing yurt, treehouse, mud kitchen, huge sandpit, bonfires and marshmallows on winters days, waterslides on hot ones and tons more. Ballet on a Tuesday, French on a Thursday. My only sadness is that my eldest child didn't get to go here as we were living in London then.
The staff we have encountered have all been outstanding - always with a smile on their face, nothing is too much trouble, and clearly excellent at what they do, my child is thriving in their care.

Quite simply, the best nursery in Salisbury. I viewed many, and Farley excelled the rest in every sphere!
My children have been attending for over two years, and I cannot fault the nursery. Staff are friendly, helpful and supportive, and, most importantly, my children are very happy at Farley.

I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful nursery and the amazing team which work there. When our son started in January 2021 following nearly a years worth of lockdown and a distinct lack of contact with other children, I was so nervous; however, my mind was eased almost instantly. My son absolutely
loves his days at nursery; it's clear just how much he has grown and learnt in the last 12-months being there, it is the safest, most supportive and nurturing environment. He never stops moving, so the fact that it's an outdoor nursery facilitates him well. I am genuinely so grateful for all the love and support which the team have shown us as a family over the last year. A truly amazing nursery.

I adore everything about Farley Nursery School! They go above and beyond in every aspect.
From looking around when still pregnant, even though he wasn’t starting until he was two, I didn’t bother to look at any other nursery as I knew that was the place for us. I wish I had started him there sooner,
so he got to enjoy the magic of Farley for longer.
They give the children all the tools they need to thrive. Nursery plays such a big part in a child’s development, and I think they’re so much better for it. Confidence always oozes out of Farley children.
From the moment I drop my child off to when I pick him up, I know he is in the best care and is going to have the most fantastic and fun day!
I will be eternally grateful to everyone at Farley.

As soon as we viewed Farley Nursery we knew it was where we wanted our daughter to go. The whole ethos, atmosphere and staff were just a perfect fit for the balance between play, education, care and adventure. Our daughter has attended since I returned to work and Farley Nursery helped make the transition
smooth and an exciting time for our daughter. She has continued to develop and grow into a joyful little girl and Farley Nursery has played an important role in this. Really can't rate the place enough. If I'm lucky enough to have more children Farley Nursery will be the place for them.

What a magical place. Farley Nursery School really is like something from a fairy tale. Every day is a little adventure and I love that all the children play together, being exposed to different ages. I love that the team posts pictures for the parents on Instagram so we can see what they are up to.


My son is in the under 2’s and has been going since he was 6 months. He is so incredibly well looked after and loved by all the lovely ladies at Farley Nursery. This was never more apparent than last week when my son was unwell while at Farley Nursery. I was called to come and collect him and when I arrived he was wrapped in a blanket and being cuddled by one of the team. The staff had prepared a little kit for me to take him home in case he was sick on the journey back. I was helped out to the car and sent on my way with good wishes. It is really hard leaving your precious young ones but knowing they care for him as if he were their own, makes it much easier.
