Happy Days Nursery has been established in Quinton, Birmingham for more than 14 years.

The nursery has CCTV throughout, ensuring that day care services are provided for children aged nought to five within a safe, sociable and secure environment.

Children at the nursery are allocated into different rooms, depending on their age. The nursery has a baby room for nought to one year olds, the Tweenies room for children aged one to two and a Pre-school room for children aged two to three. Older children aged three to five have the opportunity to learn and play in the School room.

During their time at the nursery, children are provided with nappies if required and freshly prepared balanced meals.

The nursery opeates an open door policy, allowing parents to visit and see how their child is progressing during their time at the nursery.

The nursery employs a professional, experienced team of staff who hold the relevant early years qualifications.

Excellent nursery, I love the way nursery staff look after my girl, it’s very warm and personal. My daughter hardly took a week to settle in because of the all the cuddles and one to one attention she received. She is very attached to her key worker and loves coming to the nursery. Thank you Happy Days.

My son loves coming to nursery. The staff are lovely and supportive, providing excellent feedback on our son's daily activity and provide us with regular updates on his progress. In my son's 3 years here I have always felt he is safe and cared for extremely well, which makes handing care of your child
over to someone else a little easier to deal with. Our son has grown in confidence massively. The nursery was absolutely the best thing for him and I think it's because this is such a great example of what good structured childcare and education should look like.

My child has attended since she was 8 months old. She has always been happy in each of the rooms she has been in at the nursery. The staff are engaged with the children and are loving and caring. The children take part in many activities covering the full range of the EYFS. There are times when
the children watch TV on the large I-Pad. Whilst the programmes are suitable, I am not keen on watching TV whilst at the nursery. I enjoy the fact that there is an all weather outdoors policy and welcome the opportunity for my child to play outdoors each day. There have been regular staff changes over the last year which the nursery have managed well and sought to ensure consistency for children but the staff turnover does concern me a little as I am keen that my child builds relationships with staff to ensure emotional well-being during the long hours she is there. Any concerns I have raised have been dealt with promptly with good feedback. I would use this nursery to care for any future children.

A lovely nursery, my daughter is very happy and settled here. It’s nice to know that she is in good hands whilst I’m at work. The nursery has really helped her grow in confidence over the years.


I am a little disappointed with the observation/learning journey notes. I don’t always get the notes and

sometimes they don’t have photos. I would very much like more frequent photo updates. Could this be done through an online app?

My daughter has attended since she was 10mths (now almost 2yrs). The room staff have always been welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I have always felt comfortable leaving her in their care. My daughter has developed lovely relationships with all the staff in her room. They have nurtured her and
aided her development. My daughter has additional needs and I have no doubt the nursery staff have had a positive impact on her progression.

As with any new parent, I was worried to leave my Daughter for the first time. But the staff at Happy Days made my Daughter and I feel at ease. She has settled in really well and enjoys her two days a week she spends at the nursery.
I 100% trust that my daughter is in the best capable hands and is
well looked after. I would definitely recommend Happy Days nursery to any parent!

Happy Days is a lovely clean nursery which is colourful and welcoming, my two children attended over a 3 and a half year period and during that time they were always well looked after and very happy. The nursery offers a lot of fun age appropriate activities and a lot of money is spent on updating resources
regularly. The staff are lovely but I felt that the high turnover of staff was very disappointing and didn't allow the children to build on their relationships with their key worker as staff were constantly changing rooms.

All the staff are lovely and the children are well looked after. There's a range of activities they do in the day and there are regular stay and play and open evenings parents can attend. It's also fairly priced for what's on offer.

Happy Days have always been friendly and professional in their approach. They are also very happy to discuss your concerns with them so they can address and resolve.
I would call each morning to ask how my child is getting on and they always answer and provide an update. They hold sessions through
the year where parents and their children are together. Their Santa grotto is exceptional.
We have been very pleased with their service and highly recommend them to everybody.

My children love attending Happy Days and are always delighted to arrive in the morning. The nursery is clean, organised and well-staffed with an excellent variety of activities to keep the children busy. Staff are approachable, well-informed and enthusiastic and I have every confidence that they do
their best for the children in their care. Communication with parents is very good on a daily basis and staff will always try to personalise learning according to the needs of the child. As a parent, I can always feel confident that my children are well cared for when they are in nursery and I would not hesitate to recommend this setting to other families.

Happy Days is a very welcoming environment. The different rooms are always bright and the walls full of the children's creations which is lovely to see. I have a good relationship with the nursery staff in my son's room and they always tell me what he has been up to during the day often surprising me
with something new that he has said or learnt. The staff are great at encouraging my son to try new things and they have been brilliant in supporting developmental aspects like feeding himself and potty training! I know my son has a great day at Nursery!

The staff are friendly, attentive, confident and have a good approach with my daughter. They have supported her over the years to make good progress in all areas. The nursery environment is clean and welcoming and the displays are constantly refreshed to show the children's artwork. My daughter seems
to be always kept busy during her day at nursery with a variety of activities. Communication is also good and parent feedback seems to be important there. Overall I'm really happy that my daughter attends Happy Days at Quinton and would like to thank the staff for their ongoing support with the care they provide for my daughter.

As a parent having care provided to my daughter from the age of 9 months up until now where she is almost 4. I can honestly say the service is outstanding as my daughter is thriving, confident and very happy.


The staff are attentive and show a high level of professionalism. It's a warm nursery

that stands up to its name "Happy Days", as the peace of mind I get leaving my daughter is invaluable, and I highly recommend it.


My only recommendation considering it is a high end priced nursery is the children could be taken out more on day trips.

Hi, my name is Rachel Jarrett, I have been part of the staffing team at Happy Days since 2009. Since starting I have worked in a mixture of age groups.


My professional development has always been valued and I have been supported in promotion from Room coordinator to Deputy Manager now to Manager.


I am the Lead for Safeguarding in the setting an area I am really passionate about. I have recently completed my Foundation Degree in learning support and plan to go on and achieve my full BA(Hons) in this subject.
