My daughter started at Victoria Nursery aged 13 months after it was recommended to us by several people. We are really pleased we made this choice for her! She seems to love it at nursery and we are really happy with the small, family environment. All the staff know her (and us), and I love that they
genuinely seem to care about her and are always cheering her on to meet her milestones!
Our eldest went to a different nursery, which was also generally very good, but we are happier with the smaller environment and the way in which the staff really get to know the children at Victoria Nursery.

My son joined the nursery at the beginning of the summer. We've been very pleased with the care the nursery has provided and how they have helped him settle in and develop. The staff are all extremely friendly and clearly make a huge effort to organise activities for the children. We've also been very

My 8-month-old son settled in really quickly and easily and he formed a good bond with the baby room staff; he seems to enjoy his days at nursery and comes home happy and stimulated. The care and attention are great and provide me with reassurance that he is well looked after. I receive constant updates
via the app on what he is doing during the day which also helps with my 'separation anxiety'!

Our daughter has been attending Victoria Nursery since April 2024 and we've had such a positive experience there. She loves going there and does so many lovely activities each day. Her speech has improved dramatically since attending the nursery and all of the staff keep us really well informed on her
development. Every person who works there takes the time to get to know both the children and parents, even for the children who aren't in their room and care. It genuinely feels like a family environment which makes us so happy and confident leaving her there.

Victoria nursery is a lovely place for our daughter, she is super happy there and the staff are all friendly and supportive. They all know our daughter well and her key worker has a really positive impact on her learning and development. Whenever we have a specific challenge, the staff will make sure
there are play activities themed around addressing the challenges for example, bath time! They were also so supportive when we had some family challenges with my husband being unwell in hospital, they really helped me get through a tough time!
The nursery itself is small enough it still has a family feel, and has a lovely garden that the children have freedom to explore, forest school always being a particular highlight for our daughter!
Definitely recommend to anyone considering joining.

Our two boys aged 3.5 and 15 months both attend Victoria Nursery 4 days a week and both clearly love it there. The staff are attentive and responsive and have helped both my boys form bonds with them. They are well fed, have a chance for plenty of rest/nap time and have the chance to lead play along
and their own interests.

I love this nursery because 1) My children are happy and settled there. 2) They give lots of feedback through the app, including what your child has eaten, nap times and nappy changes. They also seem very switched on about each child and give feedback at pick-up. 3)They have a lovely outdoor space and
the children are always doing fun activities. 4) Food is prepared in-house. I am impressed at what my children will eat given how picky they are at home. 5) My children have allergies, I have never had any issues with the nursery about this. Other notes: they accept tax-free childcare and funded hours. You can spread the hours over the calendar year. So 30 hours term time funding actually pays for 2 full days a week (each day is 10.5 hours and covers school holidays). You pay a flat fee for food/other consumables on the days that the childcare is paid for by funded hours. This is fairly standard between nurseries. Overall a fantastic nursery that is competitively priced for the care provided

My son has been attending Victoria since Sept 2022.
He has settled in nicely. The staff made it very easy for him to settle in during his initial days. You can tell that it is a thriving nursery as they are always introducing something new (since he has been there).
They also engage the kids in different
activities like bringing a dog in, Santa into the nursery, having forest school, having craft days with the parents. The place is always clean, tidy and well maintained and I have never picked him up soiled/ dirty. I have had no concerns with the nursery. Am grateful for the care they provide for my son.

The staff at Victoria Road Nursery are amazing. My son had a tough time settling in when he first started and cried at every drop off and pick up. However, the staff were so kind and worked really hard to make him feel comfortable; he now loves it there and can’t wait to go in the mornings. His key
workers know him really well and the managers are super knowledgeable and supportive when we are tackling things at home such as phases of throwing or tantrums, they always have such great advice. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone, the staff create such a nurturing and fun environment and do everything they can to help the children thrive. Thank you Victoria Road!

This is an excellent nursery, we couldn’t be happier. The manager and her staff are amazing. They are very on-the-ball with all details great and small and this gives us huge confidence leaving our child there. Clearly there is a lot of communication amongst the staff and this means that any details
we pass on are shared amongst all the caregivers. Everyone there seems to genuinely love their job and love the kids and it’s got a wonderful atmosphere. Our little one took time to settle in and their patience really helped smooth the process. They truly are an excellent bunch of people and our little one is thriving because of their care. Our son has been at Victoria Nursery for over a year and he has flourished.
He loves the messy and creative play that he takes part in on a daily basis and loves all the singing and dancing. He often surprises us with a new song that he has learnt!
It’s great to see him learning about different festivals
throughout the year and supporting charities both local and National too.
The staff are very caring and show a real interest in our son and how he is developing.
The food is great with a fantastic variety over the course of the week.
The app is really helpful to see what he has eaten and how he has slept each day, but also with photographs to give updates on what they have been up to that week.
I would highly recommend this nursery to others.

Our son has been going to Victoria Nursery since May 2021. As soon as we walked into the nursery on our first visit, we were put at ease and knew this was the nursery for us. The staff are very accommodating, while being very professional and they take very good care of individual needs and learning
for our children. The garden is amazing which my son loves. He struggled at the beginning and it took him some time to settle in, but he has been very happy with his key workers and created a very good bond with them. We would highly recommend it to all the parents looking for a warm atmosphere and the daily updates on the app, that makes you feel like your child is still with you, all day.

Both of our children have attended Victoria Nursery. Our 9 year old still talks about it fondly now, and our 3 year old loves going. I wouldn't choose any other nursery and can't recommend it enough. A real family feel, where every child is treated as an individual. All of the staff treat the children
as if they were their own. The children have a wide range of experiences, following the EYFS to encourage them in their development and have a whole load of fun! 11/10. Wonderful.

Hello, my name is Abbie and I have started out at the nursery in 2017 as a level 3 apprentice and am now a fully qualified level 3 practitioner. The environment at the nursery is very lovely, the nursery has a homely atmosphere and we are all one big family. We work together and support each other.
During my time at the nursery I have worked in all rooms with all different age groups, and currently I am working in Little Bears II room - with children aged 2-3 years old.
Throughout my time at the nursery I have built my confidence, enhanced my knowledge and gained new skills, which has led me to my role of a deputy manager.
I love working here, and I can see myself working here for a long time.

My name is Dovile (Dolly), and I have been working at Victoria Nursery since February 2021.
I have over 13 years experience of working with children in a variety of settings; supporting children and families in a variety of situations. I have also worked on quality support throughout my career and have taken part in various projects of new practice development with universities.
I have a BA Hons in Early Childhood Education and Care and a MA in Education. My main passions in early years are behaviour development, language development and outdoor play. I love allowing children to explore and develop their ideas.

My name is Carrie Anne and I have been working at Victoria Nursery for over 20 years! In my time here I have worked in all the rooms, and currently I am based in our lovely Cabin which is a standalone classroom for our biggest children. I love working in this room and watching our oldest children grow in confidence and achieving their goals, especially as they are preparing for school and developing more and more independence.
The team at Victoria Nursery is like a tightly knit family with everyone working together and supporting each other. Working it such a lovely environment, has enabled me to develop my skills as a practitioner and further my career. I have completed level 2 and level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Education as well as a Level 3 in Management, which helped me progress into may role as a third in charge in the nursery. Hi my name is Lucy,
I started working at Victoria Nursery in February 2020, I moved to Birmingham away from my home and when I arrived at Victoria Nursery I felt so welcomed by all the friendly staff.
Victoria nursery has such a wonderful homely feeling, I have worked here for over a year now and really enjoy my job. I have a level 2 & 3 Childcare qualifications, an understanding autism certificate, I am also first aid trained and do frequent online training to help improve my practice.
