Our experience of Busy Bees for our 1 and 3-year-olds is absolutely wonderful. We really feel that our children are safe and nurtured during their time at Busy Bees. The staff seem to really know all the children, even ones that aren't in their class and the management team is so welcoming when we walk
through the door. Any feedback is always taken on board and responded to. The menu is balanced and my children eat really well at nursery. Since moving house/jobs Busy Bees is no longer our most local/convenient nursery but we can't bear to move our children from somewhere that we are so happy with.

We have had two children go through this nursery. Our youngest will start school in September.
We have found all the staff to be nurturing and kind towards our boys. Our son enjoys the meals he is given at the nursery. They were encouraging and supportive during potty training. We are able to go to
work and know our son is happy and safe which means so much to us. Our boys have developed into happy, confident and social boys. I would and have recommended this nursery to colleagues.

The most amazing nursery! Staff always give 1000%, you cannot fault Busy Bees. Sending my little girl was the best decision we’ve ever made and it definitely shows. She’s coming on massively. The different facilities they offer are amazing, the different activities they do towards learning are outstanding,
the care they give is out of this world, the staff are absolutely amazing. The management is friendly, supportive and amazing, the nursery is always clean. Thank you so much Busy Bees!

My daughter has been attending the nursery since September 2020 and I cannot fault them in any way at all. Since she started, the staff have all been amazing with her, supported her well leaving me after the pandemic, and she’s had this support throughout her nearly four years there. The activities
are fun and educational, the meals are healthy (she has two of everything most days!) and the feedback from the staff, whether face-to-face or via the app is great. I’m so glad we found this nursery as since day one I have felt confident and safe leaving my daughter there. She comes out every day with a big smile and lots of things to show or tell me.

My 2.5-year-old daughter has been going to the nursery since she was 6 months old. She loves going and runs down the hall in the mornings excited to go in. She has had a number of key workers, all of them being friendly and get on well with my daughter. The transition between the rooms and key workers
has all been great. The communication between staff and parents is clear and informative. All the staff are really friendly and seem excited to be with the children. There is always a variety of activities on offer for the children, tailored to suit their needs and interests. Every time she comes home from nursery, it seems like she has learnt something new. The food there is cooked fresh and is always nutritious and enjoyable, my daughter always eats everything. Would definitely recommend.

My experience with Busy Bees Nursery on the hospital site has been brilliant! I am
so happy I chose this nursery for my son - he started when he was 9 months old and now he's 2.5 years old and absolutely loves it. The staff are so kind and caring and I love the fact that if my son wants a cuddle he
has one! His key workers know all his little ways, his likes and dislikes and I never worry about him whilst he is there.

My daughter has been here for a few years and they have helped her a lot and helped her develop and get her ready for school. My son has recently just started in the baby room and they have made me feel very welcome and my son has settled in quickly and is always smiley when I pick him up.

My son has attended nursery for a couple of months now, he is nine months old. He is very settled and loves seeing everyone when he goes in. His key worker is very good with him, communication is great. I always feel updated through the app and when I collect him. All staff are friendly and accommodating,

My son has been attending Busy Bees, Walsgrave for 18 months and he absolutely loves it. The staff are always warm and welcoming and genuinely seem to care about the kids in their care. He eats very well (better than at home!) and the kitchen is always full of fresh produce when you walk past in the
morning. Because the nursery caters for staff at the hospital next door, there's a real diversity of children and parents, which is great.
The nursery is very communicative and accessible and has always been very sensible around unforeseen events (covid waves, heat waves). The manager is approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery and will be sending my second child there when the time comes.

My daughter has attended the nursery from 10 months old and I have always been very impressed with the standard of care. I was very nervous when I first went back to work and leaving my daughter at nursery, but the staff made me feel reassured and kept me informed at every stage, even saying I could
ring anytime if I was worried! My little girl loves going to nursery and loves playing with all her friends and the staff - she usually wants to give them a cuddle before she goes or shouts their name when we're walking to the door!
All food is cooked fresh onsite and the variety of the menu is really good and encourages my daughter to eat stuff she would never try at home. She's developed so much since going and they are always talking to me about what she's been doing, enjoying and how they are helping her develop even more.
I'm so glad I chose this nursery for my daughter and I couldn't imagine sending her anywhere else. I don't worry when I leave her there as she loves it!

This is a good nursery in general. The nursery attracts a diversity of staff and kids, which is good for little ones to develop a sense of understanding and tolerance. Besides on-site facilities, the nursery is also able to provide a wide range of online resources for early development and parent support
which are useful especially at home and during lockdown.
I would recommend this nursery to my friends and families.

My daughter loves attending Busy Bees she has been going for over 18 months. Her first key worker helped her to settle in and made sure she got involved in a number of varied activities. My daughter has now moved through a number of different rooms and has always loved attending nursery. Her current
keyworker is excellent and has taken the time to get to know my daughter. Every time my daughter returns from nursery she always talks about her. All the staff in the office are always helpful and approachable. The food that is provided is always varied I think my daughter eats better than I do.

Childcare service has dropped. The staff is not enthusiastic enough with the kids. Do not make the fees been charged clear and charge more than stated. They are very inconsiderate of parents who have other children that need to get to school.

The team were really sad to see your little one leave the nursery & would have loved to see her stay until school, especially as her older sister attended for so long. We feel that the staff team have built in strength with regards to knowledge & training and are disappointed that you feel differently. The Senior team regularly carry out reflective observations to ensure that staff are enthusiastic and encourage the children to learn and develop to the best of their ability. Our fees are outlined to parents upon registration, and monthly invoices clearly detail childcare costs. The Terms & Conditions are also attached to the application form which we encourage parents to keep. We are sorry that you feel this was not clear. As part of our Covid-19 procedures we are asking parents to drop off by 9am, however if a parent is unable to drop off by then this is not a problem and we will take their temperature at reception. The reminder text was a generic text that goes to all parents.

I couldn't ask for anything more as this nursery is absolutely amazing. I am reassured that my son is looked and cared after. Since starting, there has been development in his confidence. The food is varied and good. The setting is age-appropriate with indoor and outdoor areas and activities. I absolutely
love their online app which keeps me updated about his daily activities, meals, sleep, etc. He also has periodic development assessment and overall behaviour with recommendations which is communicated via the app. It is reassuring to know that he is in good hands while I am at work. I absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

My son has been at Busy Bees since he was a 10-month-old toddler and I have seen him grow up into a very caring and confident child whose now going to be 3 this month. The staff at this nursery are absolutely fantastic. If I ever had any concern about my son they would take it on board straight away
and help me in any way they possibly can. I owe all of the development and skills that my son has learnt in the last 2 years to all of these amazing people at nursery. They give you daily updates on how your child has been alongside pictures and observstions so that you as a parent can be kept up to date alongside having parents meeting with their key worker to see how they have been. I am so so glad that I picked them for my son.

Good nursery with good quality. Excellent education, and care. Opening at 7:15 till 6:00 pm, it's a very convenient opening time. Excellent menu and good chefs in the kitchen. Safe clean garden for games and many toys.

Hi, I’m Claire and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees University Hospital.


I have worked with young children for over 25 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and completed my Early Years Professional status in September 2011. I lived in South Africa for 26 years and relocated with my family, to the UK in 2006. My son is a Bio-Chemist. My husband and I enjoy playing golf together and cycling. I thoroughly enjoy decorating. I am extremely passionate about what I do and truly committed to ensuring each child receives an outstanding, high quality experience during their years with us at Busy Bees University Hospital.
