The Natural Childcare Company embraces natural, interactive learning and provides a holistic approach to children's development.

The nursery uses natural experiences to stimulate all the senses. Children spend their days in a safe environment, filled with discovery and exploration that encourages creativity and imagination.

Guided by trained practitioners, the children develop into confident beings before they take the next step into school.

They also offer an extracurricular activity of Spanish classes with a qualified Spanish teacher in the pre-school for a small extra monthly fee as well as a hairdresser who visits the nursery every 6 weeks.

Compromising of four play rooms and a outdoor environment which has been meticulously planned to develop independence, The Natural Childcare company aims to deliver a holistic learning programme that meets the needs of all the individual children.

Prices include nappies, wipes, meals, and cow's milk.

The nursery offers 15 & 30 hours of funded childcare.

  • Parking is located to the rear of the nursery in Shirley Library Car Park, this is a council owned car park with 3 free hours parking, and can be used for drop off and collection, however, a free ticket needs to be purchased from the ticket machine and be displayed whilst visiting the nursery.

I couldn't be happier with The Natural Childcare Company Shirley. My son started in December and has settled in so quickly, he often struggles with new people and new surroundings but not this time. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything he could possibly need was in place before he started
and chose his key worker based on how I'd described his temperament. He loves his key worker and runs to her each morning, sometimes not even looking back!
I would highly recommend The Natural Childcare Company to everyone.

A lovely nursery, both of my children have been coming here since they were less than one year old. The staff are warm, welcoming and very friendly. The nursery premises are clean, bright and modern with a lovely outdoor area for outside play every day. Both my children have really enjoyed attending
the nursery and are engaged in fun and interesting activities every day. Would highly recommend it.

Having sent both my children to The Natural Childcare Company from 9 months old (to 3.5yrs) I can say I would highly recommend the nursery. Both my children settled quickly and made lovely connections with all the staff. It was a home from home for my children and the looked forwards to going in each
day. I looked around at a lot of nurseries before making the decision to send them to NCC and it was by far the cleanest, warmest and well equipped environment. The children do lots of varied activities that support their learning whilst still being lots of fun, however it is the staff that really make this place special. My children will miss them all dearly now they had to leave to do a house move.

Absolutely fabulous nursery - the staff are outstanding and you can really see the close bonds they make with all the children in their care. My son has attended for over a year now moving from Babies to Tweenies and now Tots and the ladies have been fabulous throughout - always making me feel comfortable
that my son is in very capable caring hands. The movement between rooms at different ages works really well and really helps with their development as it gives the children new people, activities, and areas to explore rather than just being in the same room for years. There are always lots of varied activities for the children to get involved in - and they have an excellent outdoor space too which my son loves - it looks like they have such a great time. He has developed so much since starting at NCC - I can’t thank them enough for supporting and encouraging him in his development. Would 100% recommend.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for nearly a year now, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to put her in the Natural Childcare Company full time. The nursery itself is fantastic. Modern and clean. The teachers have been fantastic. Our daughter has formed really lovely relationships with
everyone there, from the ladies working in the office right through to the manager and all of her immediate carers. They all know her name, chat with her and have fun. It’s really great. Educationally, she has really improved and often comes home and amazes us with something new she’s learned. She told me about Neil Armstrong the other day. Blew my mind. Four years old. Not one day has gone by where she has not wanted to go, in fact, the opposite. She loves it there. They are also dealing with Covid in a great way. It’s all set up to reduce contact. And there’s parking out the back allowing you to safely pick up/drop off. Overall, I can not recommend this nursery enough.
