At Little Pioneers Walsall Wood there are four main areas within the nursery, a secure baby room for babies 3 months to 1 year, a large bright toddler room for 12 months – 2 years, another large bright room for children aged 2-4 years.

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They hold the green flag status (the highest award) in the prestigious Green Flag Eco-schools programme which is an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning. They have an app, ParentZone, which keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress.

They are big on happy children so they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

Furthermore there is a specific room to support the learning of the 3-5 year olds, complete with laptop and computer that pre-schoolers can use at any time as they are encouraged to explore and access activities independently. The nursery has two secure outside play areas which the children are able to access at least twice a day.

The staff are friendly, kind, considerate and go out of their way to help. They are always positive and genuinely care about the children. I cannot rate the room staff highly enough, and good, caring staff are the most important part of any care service.
The nursery is always doing new activities and
providing feedback and working on important skills, and our child has developed particularly socially since she has been there. The facilities are interesting, child friendly and make it easy for the children to involve themselves in activities. Any queries we have had have been very speedily answered and communication has always been very easy.

Little pioneers has been amazing for my son's development. The staff are very friendly and the activities and variety of meals is great. He has been at the nursery since he was 11 months and now is nearly 3. His language skills have developed so much and this is all thanks to the amazing staff.

My son has been attending Little Pioneers Walsall Wood for over 3 years, and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention he receives. The staff are incredibly kind, nurturing, and genuinely invested in the children's well-being and development. From engaging activities to a safe and welcoming
environment, the nursery provides everything a parent could hope for.

My daughter started here in January (age3). She loves her nursery days and her teachers. She is always keen to go in and on pick up tells us all about her day and her friends.
We also love that the staff take the time at pick up to tell us what she's been up to.
It's such a welcoming, friendly environment.

We've been incredibly happy with the care and attention our child receives at Little Pioneers Nursery. The settling-in process in the baby room was smooth, and the staff have been fantastic, making the experience comfortable and happy. Their warmth and dedication truly stand out.


Our little one loves

attending nursery and enjoys the engaging activities that support development. There's always something new to look forward to, which gives us peace of mind. We also appreciate the special events like World Book Day and the Wizard of Oz dress-up, which were great fun for both children and parents.


The team is very responsive, always quick to answer calls and address any queries. We also love the app, which keeps us updated with photos and activities, making us feel connected to the day.

Our two children attend nursery - one in preschool and one in the baby room. We have been at Little Pioneers for 3 years now and love the friendly, family atmosphere. The nursery always has exciting, engaging activities for children in all of the rooms and both my children love it there. We are really

I wouldn't choose any other nursery for my child. She has the most amazing experience which fosters her independence, character and love of learning. She's given the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities and has built strong relationships with her keyworkers.

All three of my boys have attended Little Pioneers Walsall Wood, I would highly recommend. The children are busy all day, learning and doing creative activities that they wouldn't normally do at home. Staff send regular updates so I have always known my children are happy and well looked after which
is all you can hope for as a parent.

What can I say, I have had three children at the nursery and I really cannot fault it in anyway! All staff have been absolutely fabulous, knowledgeable and always happy to help. Both my children attend little pioneers nursery and I have watched them both blossom and develop so confidentially. This is down to all of those amazing staff members. My children will now wave me off which brings me great comfort in knowing that they feel safe and happy. I have noticed both my children
have developed in areas such as role play, dancing, numbers, colours. When collecting my children, every member of staff has given me such a detailed handover about my children's day. It brings me such joy to know both of my children and being well looked after.

Our Son has thrived at Little Pioneers. All of the team are so engaging and make it their job to provide the best support for him. They really do go above and in beyond in ensuring all of his needs are met and that as any parent is all you ever want for your child. He's become such a little character
now he's a toddler and developing some great skills as a result of being at nursery. Special thank you to four members of staff in particular for helping in develop in Little Explorers before he moved into the big boy class you are all absolutely amazing.

Amazing nursery. They've been great with all 3 of my children and helped so much with their development. Staff are lovely and polite and get to know your children very well. My kids that aren't there anymore still talk about the staff.

Cant rate the nursery highly enough. Staff are always friendly engaging and when I walk into my son's room he is always happy and staff are amazing with him.
My son's speech has improved due to the nurseries help. My child has recently needed extra help and Cally was more than happy to offer this.

My daughter started at the nursery 3 months ago at 9 months old. To say I was nervous to leave her was an understatement. However, the staff have been amazing in settling her, and her personality is shining brightly. I have no fear of leaving her there in the morning, and the updates throughout the
day are amazing, the updates on pick-up are a wonderful thing, too.
My daughter is thriving in this nursery, and I would recommend them to anyone.

What an amazing group of staff. My daughter has attending this nursery since she was 8 months old. She’s now in pre-school class. Her final stage before starting school. Her development from the baby room to pre-school has been massive. This is all down to the hard work and dedication of the nursery.
All are so friendly and make you and the child so welcome. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
I would recommend this nursery 100% to anyone.

My child has been at the nursery since June 2020. She has come on leaps and bounds with her development since being there and she has really enjoyed her time at the nursery. The staff are fantastic and nothing is ever too much trouble for them, over the past few months they have worked with my child
to get her school ready for September. We get a good overview of the day through the app and when I pick her up. I really recommend this nursery.

My child has had their issues at this nursery, often more than I would like to deem necessary. The management team are always on hand or a call away to help resolve issues quickly for me and my child. Although sometimes I wish I didn't have to constantly go to management with reoccurring issues, I am
glad however that they take my concerns seriously. Their new manager is the best manager the nursery has had since my child attended and she will go above and beyond for you and your concerns. The nursery's main concern is always in the children, so even if you have to specify things about your child, they will take your advice seriously and always do what's best for your child.
