This is my second child to have attended this nursery. Across all the years I have known the nursery it has always provided excellent childcare. They offer a range of extra activities which my children have really enjoyed including forest school. Even when I have had a concern, I have been able to have
open and honest conversations with the staff. They have always been professional, and supportive and made my children's time at nursery wonderful.

Excellent nursery my son has been there for 12 months would highly recommend. The staff was very helpful and my child has made good progress whilst being at the nursery. I really enjoyed the parent stay and play so you can see how they interact in the nursery.

I have one child at this nursery and another on the way, that will definitely be placed here. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are fantastic and go the extra mile for each child. I feel very involved in my child's care and learning. My son loves going to nursery and is never in a rush
to leave. He clearly has a bond with each staff member, making leaving him with them so easy. The rooms are large and the facilities are fantastic. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! Definitely worth it.

My little boy started at Footsteps Nursery at quite short notice after being let down by another provider, we were lucky enough to call the day before an open day and loved it so much we cancelled all our other viewings. The manager made us right at ease and answered all of our questions. My main concern
was that our son has always coslept or been held and I didn’t want to distress him by routine changing but they were happy to rock him to sleep and managed it on his first settle in session. His keyworker is amazing and goes above and beyond every day, she lets me call and check on him whenever I need to and the bond she has with my little boy is amazing!

With my child being a "lockdown baby", I was extremely worried about how he would transition to nursery after having spent such a long time with me and without much interaction with others. However, from the outset, the staff at Footsteps in Cannock were extremely understanding and gave the time needed
to go through any questions/concerns I had. Since my child has been going to Footsteps, I have enjoyed watching him grow and develop. He has transformed from being shy and reserved to someone who now bubbles with confidence and always beams with joy when coming to nursery. He loves the staff there and it feels reassuring for me that my child has settled in so well; he now waves bye to me confidently before starting his day. The staff have been incredible with how they have encouraged that development. I always receive detailed feedback each time I collect my child and there are updates on the learning book on what activities/learning outcomes have been done/met.

I cannot praise Footsteps enough and would encourage any parent to send their child here. The staff are fantastic and my son has a fabulous time there. The meals are varied and he eats better at nursery than at home. They’re doing a fantastic job following all the government guidelines and I have no
concerns sending my son there. In fact, I’ve recently enrolled him in an additional day because it’s so good for him and his development.

My daughter started back at nursery at the start of July and I was very worried about how she would react. All the staff have been really helpful, professional and supportive, and my daughter has gone back and is loving nursery life. The staff are amazing and she has taken to them and her new room really

A superb nursery, with fantastic staff, management and ownership. I feel better leaving my twins here than with immediate family, as I know they have the most amazing day. Each day is like they are attending a kids party, it’s magical for them. Activities and learning beyond anything you could do at
home with your child/children yourself. I had experienced an Ofsted rated “good” nursery before I brought my twins to Footsteps and the difference is worlds apart. Each member of their staff is how you would describe the nicest person ever. They are truly all incredible. I have nothing but incredible things to say about the staff and the facilities and I am quite a picky mom. Sending your child here feels like you can say you are giving you baby/child the best start to life possible and feels rewarding when sending them here for a day. Thank you to each and every one of you from reception staff, chefs, carers and the owners for fantastic support during a global pandemic.

Footsteps is an amazing setting and I would highly recommend this Nursery to any parents out there looking for a place for their child.
The staff are welcoming and extremely friendly. They are fantastic with my Daughter and she settled really quickly into her room and with her key-worker and that is
testament to the work that the staff put into building relationships with both children and Parents.

My daughter has attended since 12 months old and has been so happy in lower movers, upper movers and now toddlers. Hello, my name is Toni, I’m the Deputy Manager here at Cannock.


I joined Footsteps in 2019 as a Senior Room Leader in preschool and then went on to be promoted to Deputy Manager in February 2022. I qualified in 2010 as a level 3 practitioner and went on to gain experience in both schools and private settings.


Our nursery builds an environment inspired by the children’s interests, making secure bonds and attachments with children. Our fantastic team ensure every child has the best experiences and enjoys their time spent at Footsteps.


The early years are what I love most, watching children learn and grow from babies through to preschool and knowing you have been a part of their learning journey is amazing!
