This review is for all of the months since Sept 24 that my children have attended Footsteps. I can only sing the praises of the staff in every classroom, the management team, the key workers of my children - everyone is so lovely, helpful and friendly. My children absolutely love coming to nursery,
we never have tears at drop off time - they have so much fun doing all of the activities, making friends and playing outside. As a single working parent it gives me so much peace to know my children are truly cared for and happy, during the hours I am away from them. I don't have to worry about them at all as I trust they are in brilliant hands and having a wonderful time. They have bonded to the staff at the nursery, even staff who aren't in their classrooms, which is wonderful. They even love the food (mostly!) which is astonishing seeing as I get a fair amount of toddler fussiness at home!! I am so very grateful to the whole of the Footsteps team, and can't thank them enough.

Very caring staff who enjoy their jobs which makes it a lovely environment for my babies. A lot of the staff are still there from when my daughter went to nursery 3 years ago which says a lot. Babies always doing interactive fun stuff, varied diet and they go outside lots. When my babies are sad when
I drop off they cuddle them which is really important to me too. Lovely place.

My son started at Footsteps Lichfield in January in the baby room. I found the first few weeks leaving him very difficult but all of the practitioners were always so lovely and made me feel reassured. He is quite settled now and seems to have built lovely connections with the ladies in his room and
especially his key worker. Drop off and pick ups never feel rushed and the practitioners are always keen to hear how my son is that morning and also to update me on what he's been up to that day. They do lots of activities such as going outside, messy play, arts and crafts and jo jingles which my son really enjoys. We are always kept updated by the nursery too via the app with meals, nappies and sleep times too. Overall I am really happy with the nursery.

Nursery staff are fantastic. Opening hours are excellent. Friendships are encouraged and fostered well. My child always comes home happy.


The only negative is that the pricing and billing structure is unclear. Bills are not itemised and we have in the past been billed incorrectly which has been difficult

to identify.

We are over the moon with the care our son receives at Footsteps Lichfield. All of the staff in the baby room are warm, friendly and nurturing. Due to this the settling in process was much easier for both baby and parents. The room is cosy, the food is healthy and the overall feel of the nursery is
homely. The communication is really good with the new app and all staff encourage popping in and calling at any time with questions or worries. Our baby loves being outdoors and this is another key reason we chose to send him here, each area of the nursery has its own outdoor space which they use regularly.

Fantastic nursery with amazing staff. Our girl is thriving in the baby room. The staff know the kids inside out and take beautiful care of them. Loads of fun each day with Indoor activities, messy play, Jo Jingles and some guinea pigs. Loads of opportunities for learning every day! The food is excellent

Both of my children have attended Footsteps Hawthorn and loved/love it. The team are awesome! There's ample outside space and children are allowed to just be children which is really important. The activities are always enjoyed and well thought through. I've found the nursery has really supported my
children's learning and development, it's taught them to interact with others outside of the home/family environment and laid a really strong foundation for primary school. I know my children are safe and cared for and that their needs are prioritised and that peace of mind is everything.

My youngest son has just finished preschool at Lichfield footsteps. My eldest started at Footsteps 6 years ago so we have had a long journey with them- which has been excellent. They were very helpful with my eldest's speech delay and any concerns/ queries were dealt with quickly. There's a lot of outdoor
space which the children have particularly enjoyed!

This is the best nursery for our little boy he loves going here 3 days a week and I honestly cannot say one bad thing about the nursery or staff. All of the staff are so caring, loving and considerate to our babies' needs. Their structured development plans have assisted us in reaching his major milestones.
He has come on leaps and bounds since starting here and it's great to see. Many evenings I go to pick him up and he's too busy having fun even to notice I am there! He also eats better than us every day with a great varied menu! We would definitely recommend Footsteps Lichfield for your little one. We went to view when I was pregnant and reserved a space which I would recommend as the spaces fill up fast.

After returning back to work in January as any mother you worry about how well your child is going to settle and my little boy absolutely loves nursery and the girls in the baby room. The girls are brilliant, caring and compassionate. We get updates throughout the day on what he's eaten and photos every
now and again which is lovely to see. The outdoor spaces are also great for the children to explore.

The staff are incredibly friendly and clearly love working with the children. My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 10 months old. She is now 2.5 years and she has absolutely thrived. The staff are so personable, they are my daughter's best friends she's always talking about them!
She has a number of allergies and I've always felt confident they will manage these as best they could, any concerns have always been taken very seriously and they still provide her with varied and nutritious meals despite her restrictive diet. Feel very comfortable with them caring for her.

We have found Footsteps to be such a wonderful nursery for our little boy.

We have two sons at Footsteps Hawthorn, one in the baby room and one in preschool. Our oldest has been here since baby room and during the last 3+ years, I can only say the nursery has been exemplary and outstanding. The activities are varied and culturally enriching, the food is nutritious, the site
is surrounded by nature, and all the staff we have dealt with are considerate, polite, caring and mostly very immersed in each child's development. Our oldest son is a little shy and the staff make extra effort to involve him, whilst our youngest is a bit more outgoing and he has developed incredibly thanks to the care of the team members. The price is reasonable considering the local market also and we think it's value for money. COVID and other illnesses are handled and communicated well as are any required medicines. Our youngest needed an inhaler for a while and the staff eased our minds with their professionalism. All in all, nothing but great things to say and we are very thankful to them.

My son has started in the Rising 3's room at Footsteps and has been made to feel so welcome and secure in his surroundings. The staff have all been amazing and helped him settle in and adapt to a new environment and people so well. They have been so supportive with his behaviours which at times can
be challenging and really made me feel reassured as a mum that he is in good hands.
