Sandhills Day Nursery Wombourne is a home from home setting at the heart of Wombourne, offering the perfect learning environment for children.

With local parks and amenities, such as the library, in walking distance, the children are regularly out exploring the local area whilst taking full advantage of both the indoor and outdoor nursery space.

The nursery has four rooms within the main building as well as an additional building adjacent to the main building; giving the littlest ones the space to develop their balance, confidence and independence in a safe and calm environment before moving to the main building.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

All the staff are very helpful, caring and kind, my child loves going to nursery and is always happy when we pick him up. The staff have gone over and above to help us out. We are really pleased with how he has developed at the nursery, especially socially. I would definitely recommend the nursery to

My daughter has been with Sandhills since September and joined them in (youngest age group). The staff are absolutely fantastic. They made the transition smooth for both of us and since starting, they have been incredible with my daughter. Their interactions are positive and it is clear to see the
bond they have built. Always take the time to speak to me as a parent and keep me updated. I would wholly recommend this nursery to any parent.

I was ever so worried about leaving my little boy at nursery, even as a second time Mom. But, I had no need to. I couldn’t be happier! My little boy has thrived since being at Sandhills Nursery and enjoys being there so much. He always talks about his peers and the staff and I love that we get sneak
peeks during the week, via the app. Highly recommend this nursery to all! I also love that the food is all home cooked on site and there’s a great variation introducing new foods.

Leaving your daughter with what were complete strangers wasn't something I was looking forward to, however, the staff at Sandhills have made the experience so much better than I was expecting it to be. My daughter has now been attending the nursery for about 6 months and from the first day I knew she
was in the right place. Within a week it felt as if everyone in the nursery knew her name and called out to her when we arrived in the morning. Recently she has moved up a room so it was quite a big change but with the welcome days and the rotation of the staff, the change has gone exceedingly well. I could not be happier having my daughter here. We recently became eligible for some funding which has been explained well and the process was relatively easy to complete. We are kept in the loop about anything the staff think we should be aware of both good and bad, right now we are looking forward to National Book Day, which is coming up soon.

My daughter has been attending Sandhills Day Nursery Wombourne since she was nine months and absolutely loves it. The team are caring and always make an effort with my daughter as well as ensuring her needs are met. I’m really pleased with the progress she’s making from a development and social aspect.
Particular mentions go to the staff in Mr. Smalls and Mr. Messy who go above and beyond.

My son has just started this nursery and completed all of his settling-in days with ease, along with his first full day.
Since he started Sandhills, I have had nothing but positive comments on the nursery and the staff who go above and beyond on a daily basis in their role to not only develop the children
but to build a fantastic relationship with them. All of the staff I have met are very personable and can’t do any enough to ensure that children are looked after to high standards. Staff regularly update the associated app with pictures and information such as food eaten, nap times and what the children have done throughout the day, which is very beneficial for parents.
Also, a lovely picturesque village where the nursery is set.
I’m very pleased that I chose this nursery for my son.

Sandhills Day Nursery Wombourne is an incredible nursery. The staff are more than practitioners - they’re more like family and are our support system. Only today, on drop off, four practitioners that are not in our daughter's nursery room asked how she was feeling as they had heard that she was under
the weather yesterday, for example. Everyone greets our daughter by name on the door in the morning - it’s a very personal environment, which gives us the reassurance that our daughter is very well looked after. The level of care is wonderful, the catering is nutritional and varied (5-star a la carte menu!), and our daughter is thriving. Her development is often commented on by family and friends as her speech, motor and social skills are very well developed for her young age. The ‘over and above’ services are wonderful - Mother's and Father's Day events make us feel very included as parents, and the app updates are regular and give us peace of mind. Cannot recommend enough.

Sandhills have been incredible with my son. I'm a disabled parent, and they make accommodations for me. We use the 15 free hours a week, but there's no pressure to bring him in if I'm not able to. Their staff are really positive and engaged, very trustworthy.

I am overwhelmed by how amazing this nursery has been so far. My son has only recently started, and the team there have been super welcoming.
The updates and photos I receive during his day there are very reassuring that he's having an amazing time.
He has formed a lovely relationship with his key
worker, which I am so so thankful for.
I can imagine it's a very difficult job, but everyone there is so warm and kind and do an amazing job.

The baby room has helped my child flourish and grow into a confident and independent toddler. The staff are friendly and supportive; they also do a range of activities each day to keep my child engaged. You are kept up to date with nappy changes/sleep and food they've eaten that day. Would recommend
this nursery to any other parent looking for that personal atmosphere.

The communication is superb, the ladies are lovely, and the facilities are spot-on.
It's not an easy job, but they take it in their stride.
There are a few little things I feel could be improved if I was nit-picking, but overall, no complaints at all, and I would highly recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been at the nursery for a year now and loves attending! (So did his two older sister's that have also previously attended!). My little boy always gets his shoes on and bag ready in anticipation of the nursery. All the team at Sandhills Day Nursery are always very welcoming and friendly
and get to know and understand the children well. They provide a happy and safe environment for the children to thrive in! I can highly recommend Sandhills Nursery Wombourne and its amazing team.

My son has now been attending the nursery for nearly two years, and he absolutely loves attending every day. He initially struggled with his speech and language development, but he has been fully supported by the team. He has come on leaps and bounds and has been encouraged by the nursery at every stage.

Here at Sandhills Wombourne, we have a friendly, experienced staff team who are dedicated to providing the best start in life for all of our children. With fun and exciting activities planned for the children’s individual needs and development by their key workers, there are lots of adventures to be had indoors and outdoors!
