The Crescent Pre School Nursery Ltd is a charitable trust set up to offer opportunities to inspire learning built on children's interests and supported by a loving and trusting relationship.
The Crescent Pre School Nursery is a non profit making nursery that provides high quality childcare for children aged from birth to 5 years.
The nursery is an integral part of The Crescent Children's Centre and therefore shares the centre's aims to provide the best high quality care for your child. Opportunities will be offered to inspire learning built on your child's interests and supported by a loving and trusting relationship.
The nursery is Ofsted registered and are rated as a GOOD Nursery (April 2019). All staff are qualified and experienced practitioners who share an ethos of providing children with the best possible start in life. The staff would be delighted to show your family around and to answer any questions.
There are also FREE funded places available for children aged 2,3 and 4 years.

Our daughter has been going to The Crescent for 10 months now. She was unsettled during her settling in meetings but the staff were fantastic and reassuring both her and myself. I was anxious the first day I left her and they explained I could call throughout the day if it helped. In the end, I only
called once and was immediately reassured. Now she absolutely loves going to nursery and when we walk in she toddles straight to the breakfast table or to one of the areas to play or read. The staff are friendly and really understanding. They always keep us informed of what our daughter has been doing and how she has been. As a first-time mum I was so worried about leaving her but now I know she is safe and enjoying herself. She loves all the staff and will happily give hugs to all of them. Thank you to everyone at The Crescent.

Leaving your child to go back to work is one of the hardest things, after looking around many nurseries once I walked into The Crescent I just knew and felt the love for children, the staff are fabulous and are always there with feedback on how my boy has had a busy day, I love the activities they do
that just aren’t possible to do at home, he comes home with the paintings he’s done and photos in his book, my son has the best time and loves going (he’s just turned 1) I can not fault this nursery in any way and to know all the profit made goes back into the nursery for the children, the staff are second to none and are all worth their weight in gold, they embrace outdoor activities including babies, I can go to work knowing that my son is in the best hands and is having fun.

Since my son started attending this nursery he has learnt so much, especially his speech which has developed fantastically. He has more confidence and enjoys playing with his new friends. All the staff have fully supported all my son's needs and helped me to toilet train him which is a big deal and
massive achievement. I would definitely recommend this nursery, the staff are dedicated and professional whilst still ensuring my son has plenty of fun and learning activities.

This nursery is excellent, both my children have attended and 1 is still there at present. When my eldest attended, who is disabled, the staff and management team went above and beyond to make a safe and accessible environment where he could make friends, learn and have fun and he progressed really
well and end exceeding targets. The staff are beyond expectations and nothing is too much trouble for them.

The Crescent Pre School Nursery Ltd is the perfect place to send your little ones. Staff care and listen to your child’s needs and take an active interest in their learning journeys. There’s always lots of activities waiting for them on arrival that allow them to learn through play.
Staff always inform
you of any issues and how your child’s day has been, and key workers work closely with parents to discuss your child’s day. Rooms are separated into age groups so interaction is great with children of the same age. They have a fantastic outdoor area full of adventurous play that is going to get bigger and better.
Highly recommend this nursery and thank you to all the staff for looking after my precious little one. Highly recommended.

My little girl loves coming to nursery. Everyone in her room is wonderful and so caring. My daughter and her care worker have a wonderful bond. She has many allergy’s and the cater for each one, and she even has her own menu each week.

Very happy with the level of education and care my child receives here. Was nervous about sending her as she seemed too little (July baby) but she loves it. Staff are very friendly and caring.
It does sometimes feel a little short staffed as there is often nobody to speak to at pick up time. A few
items of clothing have gone missing during changes or random sock removal incidents by my child, but nothing major.
It was the outside which attracted me the most as our daughter loves being outdoors and their facilities are excellent.
I'd say all staff members are familiar with all the children and feel I can speak to any of them if I do have a concern or question.

My 2yr old grandson started nursery for one morning a week at the beginning of Oct. As you can imagine, I was feeling very protective and concerned that he should be well cared for and also happy . The nursery manager ensured that he was matched to the ideal child care assistant to suit his gentle and
reserved nature and that he had a well-planned induction over a number of weeks to be sure he settled before I committed him to a full half day with lunch.
There is a wide range of play activities both inside and outside to suit his interests and he loves the lunches. My grandson is settling in well and I have peace of mind that he is happy, well cared and having quality play time with new friends.

Would recommend to family and friends. Staff well trained in their job roles and very warm and welcoming atmosphere for my child. I have sent my first child to this nursery and now send my second child. I have never had any problems. They both enjoy their days here , plenty of choice of activities

My Son has recently started at The Crescent Pre-School Nursery and attends one morning a week in the Discovery Room. I would like to say what a positive experience he has had so far. The settling in procedure and one to one he was given during this time by his key person has been brilliant my child
has been really nurtured. The staff are really caring and you can tell there is high-quality care provided throughout the day as my child is happy to attend each week. His key person is also very approachable and listens to my son's needs and provides activities to his interests from home. I have booked my child to do more sessions for the January as he is really benefiting from the interaction with other children and the wide range of experiences the nursery has to offer.

This nursery is great, children are well cared for and their needs are always met. Staff are great, facilities are great, large outside playing area with lots of activities and equipment. Inside is great as well, again plenty of stuff for the children to do. I currently have 2 children attending and

Wonderful nursery 2 of my children currently attend, they both love going in the morning. Staff are amazing with the children and their needs are always met. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The outside area is great, lovely and big with plenty for the children to do. Inside of the nursery is also
