The Crescent Pre School Nursery is a non profit making nursery that provides high quality childcare for children aged from birth to 5 years.
The nursery is an integral part of The Crescent Children's Centre and therefore shares the centre's aims to provide the best high quality care for your child. Opportunities will be offered to inspire learning built on your child's interests and supported by a loving and trusting relationship.
The nursery is Ofsted registered and are rated as a GOOD Nursery (April 2019). All staff are qualified and experienced practitioners who share an ethos of providing children with the best possible start in life. The staff would be delighted to show your family around and to answer any questions.
There are also FREE funded places available for children aged 2,3 and 4 years.

My daughter has enjoyed this setting since Sept 2014. She loves seeing certain staff that make her day enjoyable. She starts school in September and my son starts his journey in the setting as I return to work.

I can not praise the nursery enough! My daughter has special needs and finding a nursery to accommodate her needs has been hard. The Crescent Nursery and staff have been amazing and have brought her on leaps and bounds, they have also helped with the transition into getting her ready for school. The
facilities and the staff are amazing and I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

From day one of my little boy coming to this nursery he has had a very enjoyable experience. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they have really brought my little boys confidence on. His development from starting a year and a half ago is absolutely fantastic. I've always felt listened to and supported.
If there's ever been any issues at home, the staff have always been there not only for my little boy but for me as well. The outdoor area is massive and they are able to learn out there, which has been brilliant for my little boy as that's how he learns best.
Overall I would 100% recommend The Crescent to every parent as it's a brilliant nursery.
The staff genuinely care for each child and what I like is that although each child has their key worker, the other staff really care for them too.

I cannot praise the pre-school enough, the staff are brilliant and from day one I feel both myself and my child were always listened to. A big thing for me was my child's well being and as she hadn't been to any other setting before I was worried about leaving her upset, the staff were amazing reassuring
me and my child, she settled very quickly and has a good relationship with all the staff, planning activities around my child's interests lots of messy play which my child loves, she now has her own friends and always tells me about her day and all the activities she has been doing.
The outdoor area is fantastic my little girl loves to be outdoors and they have lots of free play where the doors stay open my daughter spends a lot of time in the large outdoor sand pit which they have. All the staff are very approachable and friendly and I'm so glad I made the decision to send her there, I feel she will be more prepared for school in September because of her time here.

My daughter is very new to the nursery & I'm very happy how she settled in so quick. She's made lots of new friends & her speech has come on loads. Also she's is now toilet trained with help from staff. Very happy

The Crescent nursery has provided excellent care for my 2 year old and is going to continue to provide this excellent care as I am so impressed with the care given that I have decided to keep my daughter at this setting for another year. The staff are professional yet really friendly and approachable
and they have a great management team, they have great resources and lots of learning opportunities, would 100% recommend this nursery.

Both my daughter and my son have attended this nursery and I have nothing but praise for it. The staff are all amazing and care about the children in their care. I have never had any issues at all and both of my children have developed so much both emotionally and in their physical ability since being
there. The key workers listen to both the children and parents and tailor their care accordingly, even working with the children to ensure they are ready to start school. Great facilities, fantastic outside area for the children to spend time and lots of opportunity to learn through play.

Really fabulous nursery, my little girl really enjoyed going to Crescent Pre School. All the staff are friendly, great with the children and work well with parents to promote the child's well being, both emotionally and educationally. My child gained confidence before starting full time education, it
really is useful that it links to Crescent Nursery School and really helped her settle quickly into a nursery setting. The staff are always welcoming of new ideas and take on board parents views. I can't praise the pre school enough for making my little girl the happy, confident little lady she is today, great start to any child's future, really recommend.
