Child 1st (Stoke) nursery is focused on interaction with children and their overall happiness and well being, but also day to day involvement with the parents and other family members.

Staff are happy to receive feedback from families on any subject.
Staff work hard to offer all children care and learning.

The nursery has a separate outdoor area for babies - a soft surface play area and a grassed area. Older children have a larger outdoor area consisting of a soft surfaced area, a large planting area, and a grassed area.

Staff take learning outside so that the children can make the most of the weather while maintaining their learning environment.

Wonderful place, my son is very happy every day, thanks to the wonderful team for all. He learned a lot, found friends, started to trust himself, thanks for your support and understanding. We are very happy to have chosen this wonderful nursery.

Such a great variety of activities. My child loved every minute. Lovely staff. Great outdoor and indoor area. His development has been monumental since joining. Really great place. My child talks non-stop about what he's been getting up to. Never had any major issues.

This nursery and the staff have done so much for my daughter, they put me at ease when I registered her to join back in lockdown, she started in 'Tots' and could only say one word and now she's all ready for big school. Any issues I've ever had or enquiries about stuff they have been straight on it
and helped me the best they could. Any support I've needed with helping my daughter thrive they've done there very best. I couldn't recommend them more, just hate that my daughter had to leave.

This nursery is fantastic and my child has developed so much since attending. I love all of the updates I get and how the staff go over and above to ensure that parents feel a part of their day. Also the work they put into special occasions like Father’s Day and Mother’s Day with small gifts from your
child just really helps with the working parent guilt! The first day pack I got really made me feel so much better and the staff are always at the other end of the phone (I work away some days and don’t get to see my child so being able to check he is ok is a help and also if I tell the staff I’m working away they will help comfort my child). I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Also the fact my child gets proper homemade meals all day including tea just makes my world so much easier if I have to work late because I know my child has had nutritious food.

My daughter has been at Childs 1st since she was 10 months old, she's now 2 and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. She was welcomed with open arms since day 1. The activities are great, facilities nice and clean and the regular updates on the app put me at ease knowing she's having
the best time with her friends! Hats off to all the staff for their hard work and dedication each and every day!

We wanted to get our little boy used to a nursery setting before starting at a school nursery in September 2023. We had heard of Child 1st Stoke from a family member.
Even though our son’s time at Child 1st Stoke has been short (May 2023 - July 2023) he has loved going each day and has thrived regarding
his development and that’s thanks to the staff who are so lovely, welcoming and helpful and keep you updated on your child each day (food, nappy changes etc) along with observations as well.
A big thank you to every single person at Child 1st Stoke (manager and deputy managers, room leads and key workers along with any cooks and cleaners) for keeping our son safe, well looked after and for helping to further his development and socialisation in preparation for starting at the big boy school in September 2023. You’ve been wonderful. 5 star rating and will definitely recommend you 100%

My daughter started this nursery in April 2022, since she has been at this nursery she has grown beautifully, the staff are very professional and understanding. The nursery setting is quite big and spacious! One of my favourite things about this nursery is the activities they do with the children, it’s
so creative and you can see the children enjoy it to the fullest!

I moved my daughter here in 2021 when her previous nursery unexpectedly closed, leaving me without a place for my daughter. I called Child 1st (Stoke) Day Nursery after being recommended it by my mother-in-law after she did a stint working with them. I called and the manager was so understanding and
accommodating. That day, she made time to show me around, introduce me to the staff and explained the curriculum. I instantly felt happy with the setting and my daughter was enrolled straight away. She's been there ever since and is due to leave for school in September. My daughter is one of the eldest in the group now, as I decided to keep her here for another year as she was so settled and has lots of friends. It'll be sad when we have to move on in September!

My little girl loves going to nursery, the girls are so loving and kind towards all the children they see. They are always posting pictures and comments on to the app which is great to see what they get up to.
The food choices are good and the activities all look fabulous! My daughter has come on
so much since starting with Child 1st Day Nursery!

My son loves coming here three days a week, it took him a few weeks to settle into the baby room but the staff gave him lots of cuddles and now he's developed important bonds with them. As someone who is not particularly crafty/creative, I appreciate the activities they do with the children. I also
like how nature plays a part in their outdoor play. They provide all nappies, wipes, suncream etc. so you don't have to worry about packing it all. Overall, very happy with the nursery!

This nursery has been an absolute godsend. Highly, highly recommend. My kid is neuro-spicy and can be quite difficult but here he is really flourishing. The staff have been so patient and kind. They've put plans into action to help with his behaviours. They monitor his SEN targets and try to pinpoint
any of his triggers. They're happy to give any advice on things to try, toy recommendations, to even what food he's been enjoying. I cannot praise them enough. The change in my boy has been incredible. The app they use is amazing and they upload photos of what the kids are up to. Everything is on there and it's really easy to use. There are multiple ways of using your hours, so you can find what works best for you and your kiddo. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are lovely and have everything a child could want. There are gardens, forestry school and outside play. They even have chickens! So the kids are involved with animal care. Again, cannot praise enough.

This is the best nursery in the city. The staff are very helpful and understanding of the needs of the children. My son has improved in all areas thanks to their support and help. He is very confident and does a lot of activities. Very impressed by their work and care.

Absolutely amazing!
The staff go above and beyond to make my little girl feel comfortable. She loves going to nursery, as soon as I pull into the car park she gets so excited. Cannot recommend Child 1st Day Nursery and its amazing staff enough!

Lovely welcoming staff - my daughter's development has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Child 1st Day Nursery a few months ago. She only does one day a week but we will be increasing her hours next year when eligible for funding as she has really taken to the staff there. The app is great
too with updates and pictures of how my daughter is getting on through the day which is ideal for a worrisome mum! Thank you to my daughter's key worker, she has a great bond with her - I like how loving and comforting they are with children when they get a bit upset. It's what every parent would want for their little one! Thank you, I recommend Child 1st (Stoke) to everyone.

Our son has just spent the last two years with Child First (Stoke) Day Nursery and he has absolutely loved it. He made lots of friends there and the staff were very good with him from day one. The nursery has made a lot of improvements with facilities within the last few months and is all the better
for it.
Our baby boy has developed into our little boy all ready for school now with the great help of the staff. The management have also been good with us in being flexible whenever possible around work and other commitments, if they can help you they will.
Overall, a cracking nursery which we would definitely use again.

Our little girl has been going to the nursery since she was 10 months old and is leaving this week to go to school! They have been amazing since day one. All of the staff are incredible and we couldn't have asked for a better nursery. They have helped her to develop into the lovely little girl she is

My daughter has attended Child 1st (Stoke) nursery for the last 3 years all the way from the baby room to the pre-school room. She has had some fantastic experiences. I have always felt that she is very loved at nursery, like it was her second home. She has been so well looked after. The meals made
on site always sound so delicious and are always very healthy. My husband works shifts and management have always been so accommodating to any changes to his shift pattern etc. They were a massive support during lockdown. We have really just had a wonderful, straightforward, problem free time with Child 1st nursery.
