Child 1st (Stoke) nursery is focused on interaction with children and their overall happiness and well being, but also day to day involvement with the parents and other family members.

Staff are happy to receive feedback from families on any subject.
Staff work hard to offer all children care and learning.

The nursery has a separate outdoor area for babies - a soft surface play area and a grassed area. Older children have a larger outdoor area consisting of a soft surfaced area, a large planting area, and a grassed area.

Staff take learning outside so that the children can make the most of the weather while maintaining their learning environment.

Fantastic team!!!
My daughter will always remember the great times with the caring and attentive staff. Definitely recommend this nursery and I would mark them as one of the best around.

This is the second time we have used this nursery for our children and we wouldn't use anyone else. All rooms have all been freshened back up and are very child friendly. They are equipped with age-related equipment, toys and lovely outdoor areas for all the children. The staff are always very welcoming
and can be approached with any worries or concerns to put a parent at ease. The communication from this nursery is incredible, always informative especially with the current situation. Me and my family love this nursery and highly recommend. I also love that they cater for term time only children and provide all nappies, formula milk and other things needed for the day to day care. Thank you to all the staff at Childs 1st Broom for your continued work that you do.

This nursery has helped my little girl to come a long way with her confidence and her trying lots of different foods as she is fussy. They also helped me with her toilet training, now my little girl aged 2 doesn't wear a nappy in the day.

Fantastic nursery; brilliant with our 1-year-old, she had come on leaps and bounds since starting.

Fantastic staff, so very attentive and caring. My son absolutely loves going here, there's so much to do and the staff work so hard, arranging activities for the children. They always give excellent details of your child's day and are always happy to chat with you about any worries.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly - always greeted with a smile.
My son had never been away from me aside from with grandparents so this was a big step for us both and thanks to the support and helpfulness of the staff, he's settled in very quickly and put my mind at ease.
Endless activities
and new things being learned including a forest school which has been a bit hit with my little boy.
I highly recommend this nursery.

I moved my son from another nursery so I was nervous to both move him and that we may experience similar issues, but I am so happy, six months in it’s been fab, he absolutely loves it and learned so much! My two older children love after school club as well. It’s been a great relief and a lot of fun.

My daughter has recently started at nursery after having only spent a few hours away from me on a couple of occasions so I was extremely nervous about how she would settle now that I am starting back at work. The staff have been very supportive and understanding of my concerns and absolutely fantastic
with helping my little girl feel safe and happy. As a breastfed baby she is very reluctant to take a bottle however the staff in the baby room are very patient, understanding and supportive of this transition. There is an impeccable level of communication across the board and all staff interact with parents and children in a friendly and welcoming manner with daily records of each child being given to caregivers on the collection of each child. I am so pleased with my decision to choose this nursery and would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring environment for their child.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for almost 12 months now starting in the baby room and she is now in the tots' room both of which have been excellent for her development. She loves going to nursery and has excellent relationships with all the girls who are amazing with her and we're very
comfortable leaving her in their care. I wouldn't think twice about recommending the nursery to others particularly since being taken over by Child 1st who have clearly made funding available to improve the facilities at the nursery. The important thing is our daughter enjoys going and that makes us happy.

My little boy started here when he was three months old so this was such a huge thing for me but they made me feel happy and I trusted them with my little boy in their hands. They are always happy to let you ring to check up whenever you need to. All the staff have been amazing. He always has fun and
comes home a happy boy having eaten lots of food and lots of messy play. He’s come on so much being here.

Would highly recommend, staff, are always friendly and welcoming and will go the extra mile to help. My first child attended her for over a year until he moved to primary but now does after school here. Now my second is here in the baby room and loves it. She's grown to love the staff and gain a nice

My little girl has attended the nursery for several months now and is currently in the baby room. She had never been with anyone expect for us and her nanny so it was really important to us that she was settled and that the nursery had a homely feel. She didn't take long to settle at all. The staff
are very friendly, welcoming and were keen to get to know our little girl and settle her into nursery.
The setting cater to her dairy and soya allergies and offer a wide range of alternatives for her meals and snacks. My little girl is always keen to come into nursery and has built a strong bond with her key person and has relationships with all the staff which has been lovely for us to see. The nursery provides a large variety of activities for the children and shares information about their day and their observations with us. We always enjoy seeing what has been doing at nursery. The setting also has parents evenings to discuss what our daughter has been doing and working towards.

My two boys have attended the nursery since they were babies. I am very happy with the care they receive. The staff are very friendly and I would recommend the nursery.
The baby room is especially good, a lovely sleep room and plenty of space for them to develop and explore.

My child absolutely loves it here and she always has since she started over 2 years ago.


Staff are very friendly and very supportive.
If I have any problems at home the staff will always try and help with them even at nursery.
