Only criticism is the lacking in providing dietary options for a dairy-free or reduced dairy diet.
Sometimes breakfast wasn’t suitable as they didn’t have dairy-free milk or ran out of bread.
Sandwiches were usually jam as they didn’t have meat, and the only other option was cheese.
The dessert options were mostly just jelly, when other children were offered a range of foods such as icecream, even after I sent in my own dairy-free alternatives at the start.
Had this issue been smoothed out after the many times that I raised the concern, I may have scored the nursery higher.
It isn’t nice to constantly hear your child come home saying she couldn’t have something as it will hurt her tummy. Not a good start to a little one's development, being worried that there’s not much she can eat.

I am really pleased you feel our nursery excelled your child academically and our staff provided care when looking after your child throughout the 2 years she was with us.
I can assure you, your child was offered diary free alternatives at ALL times when in our care. If our shopping delivery was unable to deliver the dairy-free milk (which happened once during the first lockdown) due to shortages and no fault of our own, you were made aware at the time and your child was offered a suitable alternative.
Your child was always offered dairy-free ice cream, yoghurts, and fruit.
We feel this is a very unfair comment as we have an onsite cook who prides herself on the excellent menu selection and food alternatives she provides catering for all children with food allergies care plans and parent preferences.
All of our menus are reviewed termly and copies of the menus are emailed on request.
Your child was always happy at nursery and mostly ate all of the food she was offered.
We do feel our nursery is good value for money, we appreciate your feedback we will continue to review and monitor our menu selection in the future.

The children's interests and learning are so evidently at the heart of what you
The ways you introduce and teach topics such as voting - by each child having a vote on which story to read - is accessible and fun, whilst also making democracy relevant!
Shopping, cooking, going for walks, going to the college gym and library, as well as Drama Tots are all great additions to the children’s days. The Chinese New Year gifts were so thoughtful too.
All of the staff are so kind, fun and engaged in coming up with ideas which benefit the children it's really impressive. You also, as a team seem to have an ethos of 'going above and beyond' which is really noticeable and much appreciated.
