A STUNNING AND SPACIOUS NURSERY IN KENILWORTH

You and your family will love Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool. Set in a beautifully refurbished historic school building close to the countryside, every aspect has been thoughtfully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Each of the nursery's age-specific rooms has its own individual garden. The preschool room in particular has freeflow access to the garden, giving each child their choice of space. There is also a forest school and an allotment area for children to learn about growing their own vegetables and making healthy food choices.
Activities in the Baby Room are nurturing, with a focus on engaging their natural curiosity and developing motor skills, speech and confidence. The older children’s rooms are designed to encourage independence. From dedicated art areas to tables with big blocks that encourage experimental and investigative play, children are able to learn in whatever way best suits them.

This is an all-inclusive nursery which means all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, are included. Your child will enjoy excellent, nutritionally balanced food that is prepared daily by the chef using fresh ingredients.
Ofsted have given Kenilworth Day Nursery a rating of Good in their most recent report (June 2018), stating the nursery as ‘a stimulating environment, indoors and out, that motivates children to use the resources and learn’.

Our children have enjoyed their experience at Bright Horizons Kenilworth. We have always found the care to be excellent. The staff are very kind, caring and provide excellent communication. Our daughter is in the toddler room currently and she always goes in happily and smiling when I pick her up. The
activities during the day are shared on the new app but not overly so, so time is spent with the children. Thank you for your care and support.

Excellent nursery. We are new parents and the staff guided us throughout. Very happy with how the space has been set up, a lot of room to play, learn and explore. Highly recommended. Well done to Bright Horizons Kenilworth team. Our baby absolutely loves it here. Every morning, he just wants to run

My son has been at the nursery since he was 15 months old so has been in babies, toddlers and preschool. We all really like the setting and staff and it's been lovely to watch him grow up through the different rooms. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and appear to genuinely care for my son
and his development. There are always lots of different, fun activities going on at the nursery.

Our daughter has been with the nursery since September and we couldn't be happier. The staff made her feel so welcome with the settling-in sessions and learning about her interests and family. I've noticed a change in her behaviour in learning real-life skills, manners and values which she had not learnt
in a childminding setting. The nursery feels like an extended part of our family - we love all of the updates the app provides on educational and funny posts! The app is great too for keeping us parents informed on events happening at the nursery, fees and health information.

Having moved to Kenilworth last year we toured a number of nurseries but Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool stood out. We loved the feel of the place and the fantastic outside area on the first visit. The manager helped set up the smooth transition from her old nursery which put our
minds at ease. Over a year in we have no doubt we made the right decision. Our daughter has settled so well and made some lovely friends. The staff are all amazing with the children and send regular updates/photos on the app. I have no negatives!

Our Son has been attending Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool for 4 days a week since just before his first birthday and he absolutely loves it! The staff are professional, thoughtful and so caring and he has built a great relationship with them. They work really hard to provide a
variety of activities for the children and they make use of all of their huge outside space with lots of outdoor play. It is so reassuring to know that he is well looked after when we drop him off in the morning and we would highly recommend this nursery to any family.

One word describes this nursery, as fantastic. My little one has been attending Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool since 2020. I have never once had any problems or issues with the care they provide or their dedication to the safeguarding and nurturing of my child. The staff there
are second to none, they are warm, welcoming and ooze an empathetic and understanding approach to their care. Having a nursery for your child where you know they are well looked after, in a clean safe environment with people that care about their job makes me as a mom feel happy and secure. The manager is always great, along with her team. I would personally like to thank them all for providing an outstanding service.

We are so delighted with Bright Horizons Kenilworth. Our two daughters settled in so quickly there and never looked back. They are excited for nursery and have made wonderful friends. They adore their teachers, do a fantastic variety of activities and have come on leaps and bounds since starting. Other
impressive elements are the food (better than mum‘s cooking!) and hygiene. Despite playing in forest school and outside, they always come home clean! Leaving your babies is a hard thing to do, but the amazing team at Bright Horizons makes it 100 times easier. Cannot recommend enough!

It is really nice nursery. I think It is the best one in Kenilworth and Coventry area. It is highly recommended. All the staff here is very nice and friendly. Staff helps us all the time. All the staff teach, help and care for my child a lot. My son joined here last April 2021 when he was three and
half years old. And my little boy first time come to nursery due to COVID 19. He never understands and spoke in English. But a few months later here, he can understand and talk in English. He is enjoying studying and playing here. Thanks all.

My son started here in September 2020 shortly after his 3rd Birthday. He's in the preschool room. He had never been to nursery before so I didn't know how he would settle but the nursery was amazing. He settled right away and has always run in happily. He really likes and trusts all the staff. The nursery
has developed him so much in terms of social skills, language, manners, two-way conversations, phonics, letters, numbers, and he surprises me all the time with new things he knows or is thinking about because of the nursery. Most importantly he's safe, happy, and well looked after there. I've found the staff open and really happy to discuss things such as how is he doing, and areas I have questions about etc. It feels like a real partnership. The outdoor space is lovely and there are always great things for them to do outside.

My daughter has attended the nursery for the last six months and she enjoys her time there. She is eager to go to the nursery in the morning, smiles on the arrival when greeted by a member of staff and walks right in without hesitation, showing her fondness for the carers. The nursery significantly

I was worried about my son starting nursery after the pandemic and lockdowns because he had only been around us and wasn't used to being apart. Bright Horizons Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool have been so good with the settling in sessions, helping my son dip his toes in the water, which helped
relax my worries about leaving him. Everyday that he goes he has fantastic healthy food, he has an array of different educational toys to facilitate his learning and lots of outside play, which he loves. He always tells me when I pick him up how he's had such a lovely day and sometimes even requests to go back tomorrow (when he's not due to go in). I'm so happy with my choice of nursery, the staff are super friendly and my son has thrived since starting there. I would definitely recommend and will be sending my youngest when he is of age to go.

Since my daughter started here all the staff have gone above and beyond to meet the needs of our family. I know that my daughter is looked after well, especially during the difficult times we currently find ourselves in. The staff communicate with parents daily and any issues or concerns are communicated
effectively and in a timely manner. All staff here are so friendly and caring, they provide the children with the guidance and care they need to grow as individuals.

My son absolutely loves attending pre-school and would go every day if he could, he is disappointed when they are not open on weekends!
All the staff are extremely caring and very friendly and he has formed a great bond with the pre-school team leader. They always ensure his well-being is the top priority
and give him extra assistance when required.
His development has come on leaps and bounds since he started, it is a lovely nursery with great outdoor space and we have now registered our second child there as we love the place that much and know he will get great care and enjoy it just as much.

The staff are great and seem genuinely fond of the kids. My two kids (3 and 1) were initially apprehensive of starting nursery but soon began to love going. The older one comes home happy, well-fed and full of stories of what activities they have done that day. I also think they have built good friendships
both with the staff and other kids. If the kids are happy, so are the parents! Recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the Kenilworth area.

Lisa

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Lisa has over 18 years of experience working in the childcare sector, starting as a nursery nurse and gaining experience in various nursery and school settings.


Over the years, she has progressed through different roles, from Room Lead to Third in Charge, then Deputy Manager, before becoming a Nursery Manager in 2008. During this time, she also achieved a degree in Childcare and Management, an Early Years Professional Status and a Forest School Leader qualification. She joined Bright Horizons Kenilworth Nursery and Preschool in January 2016.


Lisa enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in inspiring and supporting her staff. She loves watching children grow, develop and reach their full potential as they prepare for their journey to school. She finds her role incredibly rewarding and values the opportunity to continue learning every day.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Kelly, the Deputy Manager, has over a decade of experience in education, beginning her career as a college-level teacher for students aged 16 and above. However, her journey took an exciting turn when she chose to home educate her own children. This experience ignited her passion for early years education, inspiring her to retrain and complete her Early Years training with distinctions throughout.


She quickly progressed to Deputy Manager in several nurseries, where she utilized her skills to create warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environments. As a Qualified SENCO, she has also had the privilege of tutoring children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. Her background in the Police Force has given her a strong commitment to safeguarding, and she is dedicated to ensuring that every child in her care not only receives an excellent education but also feels safe and secure.


Now that her own children are grown, Kelly finds great joy in working with young learners and witnessing their growth firsthand. She considers it a privilege to be part of their early education and remains passionate about creating a safe, inspiring and enriching environment where every child can flourish.
