A STUNNING AND SPACIOUS NURSERY IN KENILWORTH

You and your family will love Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool. Set in a beautifully refurbished historic school building close to the countryside, every aspect has been thoughtfully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Each of the nursery's age-specific rooms has its own individual garden. The preschool room in particular has freeflow access to the garden, giving each child their choice of space. There is also a forest school and an allotment area for children to learn about growing their own vegetables and making healthy food choices.
Activities in the Baby Room are nurturing, with a focus on engaging their natural curiosity and developing motor skills, speech and confidence. The older children’s rooms are designed to encourage independence. From dedicated art areas to tables with big blocks that encourage experimental and investigative play, children are able to learn in whatever way best suits them.

This is an all-inclusive nursery which means all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, are included. Your child will enjoy excellent, nutritionally balanced food that is prepared daily by the chef using fresh ingredients.
Ofsted have given Kenilworth Day Nursery a rating of Good in their most recent report (June 2018), stating the nursery as ‘a stimulating environment, indoors and out, that motivates children to use the resources and learn’.

My oldest son went here and my youngest son currently goes here. He loves it and looks forward to going every week! He has recently transitioned from the baby room to toddlers. I was nervous about how he would be but the lovely staff helped him to settle in perfectly.

Both my children have attended this nursery and my youngest is still at this nursery. And every day my son tells me how much he loves each member of staff so much. But as a mother, I know my son is cared for and feels loved at this nursery. They do so much from forest school to the phonics and much
more. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

Hands down the best thing that happened to my son since arriving in the country. We had 2 options and simply went with Bright Horizons because the assisting manager made it from day dot. My son loves going to preschool, the teachers are incredible and his learning has gone to the next level. They really
do look after each child with their own learning style and is so evident in my child’s ability to read. Not only that but they are very catering to food sensitives. My son is GF, DF, and they have adapted the menu to suit him with ease and no complaints.

A wonderful nursery, the staff are extremely kind and attentive, and make such an effort to ensure my son is happy and settling well. The standard of food served is very high, with much thought put into different dietary requirements. The outdoor area, especially forest school and the preschool playground,
is fun, safe, and exciting. This is a great nursery, that is managed very well.

My child has made amazing progress at Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool. He's 3 and a half and been since 11 months. I'm constantly shocked and impressed at how much he is learning there (and I'm a Primary teacher!) He's now counting, interested in words, tells me shapes he's learned and Science
practical activities he's done, it's amazing! Staff are absolutely lovely! He's so secure with them. They are fun, approachable, caring, professional, knowledgeable and absolutely enthusiastic!

Today was very nice.
The staff at Beehive Hill communicated regarding the Father's Day breakfast morning in advance and the set up was nice and relaxed as well as welcoming.
I had a lovely bacon roll and a nice morning.

Bright Horizons Kenilworth has exceeded my expectations on so many levels. I was worried with the size of the nursery, my little girl would be a bit lost but the team work so well together that she knows them all and they all show so much love and care. I couldn't have been more wrong.
Sometimes, some
of the staff's appearance has been a bit unprofessional but this hasn't impacted their ability to care for the children so I haven't mentioned it.

We are delighted with the care our little one receives at Bright Horizons Kenilworth. It's very tough to put a 4 months old in a nursery but the staff are superb and have gone above and beyond to make us feel at ease.
The ladies in the baby room have always made the time to take a call or give us a
detailed end of day review.
I am 100% satisfied our little one is stimulated and well provided for, which gives us great peace of mind. The activities and resources available are also excellent. We could not be more pleased.

I think the staff at Bright Horizons Kenilworth all do an amazing job. Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly. My daughter is always in a lovely mood when I collect her which I feel reflects how happy and secure she feels when at nursery.
It's lovely knowing she is in safe, caring hands when
I leave her. It is apparent how well the staff who look after my daughter know her by the way they talk about her quirky ways and favourite activities, whilst giving feedback at the end of each day. They've helped give my daughter a fantastic introduction to nursery life. Thank you Bright Horizons.

The nursery continues to maintain it's very high standards.
It has recently gone through a renovation in the garden area which has improved the outdoor sections.
The themed activities are great and the children are doing new things every day. The days are structured - which is great for getting the
children ready for school and preschool. My son loves it here.

Lisa

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Lisa has over 18 years of experience working in the childcare sector, starting as a nursery nurse and gaining experience in various nursery and school settings.


Over the years, she has progressed through different roles, from Room Lead to Third in Charge, then Deputy Manager, before becoming a Nursery Manager in 2008. During this time, she also achieved a degree in Childcare and Management, an Early Years Professional Status and a Forest School Leader qualification. She joined Bright Horizons Kenilworth Nursery and Preschool in January 2016.


Lisa enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in inspiring and supporting her staff. She loves watching children grow, develop and reach their full potential as they prepare for their journey to school. She finds her role incredibly rewarding and values the opportunity to continue learning every day.

Kelly

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Kelly, the Deputy Manager, has over a decade of experience in education, beginning her career as a college-level teacher for students aged 16 and above. However, her journey took an exciting turn when she chose to home educate her own children. This experience ignited her passion for early years education, inspiring her to retrain and complete her Early Years training with distinctions throughout.


She quickly progressed to Deputy Manager in several nurseries, where she utilized her skills to create warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environments. As a Qualified SENCO, she has also had the privilege of tutoring children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. Her background in the Police Force has given her a strong commitment to safeguarding, and she is dedicated to ensuring that every child in her care not only receives an excellent education but also feels safe and secure.


Now that her own children are grown, Kelly finds great joy in working with young learners and witnessing their growth firsthand. She considers it a privilege to be part of their early education and remains passionate about creating a safe, inspiring and enriching environment where every child can flourish.
