A STUNNING AND SPACIOUS NURSERY IN KENILWORTH

You and your family will love Kenilworth Day Nursery and Preschool. Set in a beautifully refurbished historic school building close to the countryside, every aspect has been thoughtfully designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Each of the nursery's age-specific rooms has its own individual garden. The preschool room in particular has freeflow access to the garden, giving each child their choice of space. There is also a forest school and an allotment area for children to learn about growing their own vegetables and making healthy food choices.
Activities in the Baby Room are nurturing, with a focus on engaging their natural curiosity and developing motor skills, speech and confidence. The older children’s rooms are designed to encourage independence. From dedicated art areas to tables with big blocks that encourage experimental and investigative play, children are able to learn in whatever way best suits them.

This is an all-inclusive nursery which means all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, are included. Your child will enjoy excellent, nutritionally balanced food that is prepared daily by the chef using fresh ingredients.
Ofsted have given Kenilworth Day Nursery a rating of Good in their most recent report (June 2018), stating the nursery as ‘a stimulating environment, indoors and out, that motivates children to use the resources and learn’.

Beehive Nursery staff always provide our son with outstanding care. He is treated as an individual and they know all his little personal traits.
Whenever I come to collect him, he is always happy and engaging in play or an activity.
Whilst I am at work I know he is happy, safe and in a supportive
and learning environment.
He learns all about the world, safety, right and wrong.
The care he receives really is outstanding.

Our daughter has attended Beehive for the past 18 months and we have been happy with the care she has received. Staff are friendly but professional and inform of any concerns, positives and any issues with regard to our child. They regularly keep us informed and I feel very confident leaving her in
their care. Long staff retention rates reassure as does the bond between key worker and my daughter. The flexibility they have provided often at last minute is fantastic. Thank you Beehive (learning is excellent too).

My daughter has been going to this nursery for a little over a year now.
She adores the staff and has made special bonds with them as well as some special friendships with the children there.
We have noticed how her language has developed drastically since being in the toddler room and she is coming
home with new sentences each week.
From the start, we were reassured that our daughter's food allergy would be catered for and that her safety is paramount. The staff are very vigilant and follow procedures according to ensure she is safe but also able to be included at meal times. She often has the "same looking" food so that she does not feel left out.
The management are very helpful and responsive if we have an enquiry or concern and these are often dealt with quickly and effectively.
Our daughter loves singing and dancing and she particularly likes it when the music teacher comes with his guitar to do singing with them once a week.

Both my children attend Beehive and are very happy here. The staff are fantastic - welcoming, positive and take time to talk to parents about progress, activity and achievements. There have been a number of changes in 2016, most for the better, the staff and routine have stabilised. The environment
at Beehive is fun, vibrant and happy and overall we are very pleased with this nursery.

Brilliant nursery. The staff in the pre-school and honeybees rooms are fantastic. They really know my children and I feel happy and confident leaving them. My children readily go to the staff into open arms, which for me, is the greatest compliment. They are both happy and content here. I love the feedback
that I receive and really enjoy reading the comments in the books that they each have. No complaints at all.

My son has a brilliant time when he comes to nursery. The activities they do are amazing and I can see his development and his growth in confidence. My son is in the pre-school room and always has a great time on the days he goes there. He enjoys the activities that the staff put on in the room and he also enjoys the people who came in from outside and the visits from the library bus. The nursery has lovely outdoor areas for the children to run
around and a good selection of indoor toys too.

Our eldest son has been attending Beehive nursery since he was a baby. He is now in the preschool class and absolutely loves every day spent in the nursery. He has made a fantastic progress over past several months. Every day he surprises us with his ever-growing vocabulary, literacy and counting. He
was initially very shy and it took him a long time to get to know people/other children. His confidence has grown considerably, mainly thanks to the gentle yet well-organised approach of all the staff in the nursery. He is generally quite a sensitive boy and always gets loads of cuddles from the staff.
He is very dairy intolerant, however, this was not a problem for the nursery. He gets meals that look the same as the other children's but are made with all dairy free ingredients.
The manager and room leaders are excellent at dealing with any problems or concerns. They are all highly professional and always on top of the game. Overall, we are very happy with the care Beehive nursery provides

The dedication of the Beehive staff and the thought that they put into the day to day activities as well as special events is very impressive. The recent Graduation Day was wonderful - very memorable for both children and parents. The gift bag given to each of the children was a lovely touch and a great
memento for them.


New facilities and toys have recently been introduced raising the quality of the nursery even higher. My son loves the new toys and gave me a tour as soon as I arrived to pick him up. He was thrilled with the changes and was very excited. He really enjoys and is stimulated by the new equipment and the activities that flow from them. A lot of hard work went into the planning and changes in the Pre-School room.


The preparation for school has been excellent including school uniforms that the children could wear, getting used to a school register and a visit from his teacher and teaching assistant.


Beehive is going from strength to strength.

Lovely, friendly, hard working staff whom I am very happy with.


I feel I am getting value for money and most importantly my kids are happy and settled.


Some of the staff in pre-school in particular are amazing - I like that in pre-school the kids are educationally stimulated along with play.


In

Busy Bees, some of the staff, in particular one lady, are brilliant. She has really gotten to know my little boy as a person and as such gives me confidence that he is looked after.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Lisa has over 18 years of experience working in the childcare sector, starting as a nursery nurse and gaining experience in various nursery and school settings.


Over the years, she has progressed through different roles, from Room Lead to Third in Charge, then Deputy Manager, before becoming a Nursery Manager in 2008. During this time, she also achieved a degree in Childcare and Management, an Early Years Professional Status and a Forest School Leader qualification. She joined Bright Horizons Kenilworth Nursery and Preschool in January 2016.


Lisa enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in inspiring and supporting her staff. She loves watching children grow, develop and reach their full potential as they prepare for their journey to school. She finds her role incredibly rewarding and values the opportunity to continue learning every day.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Kelly, the Deputy Manager, has over a decade of experience in education, beginning her career as a college-level teacher for students aged 16 and above. However, her journey took an exciting turn when she chose to home educate her own children. This experience ignited her passion for early years education, inspiring her to retrain and complete her Early Years training with distinctions throughout.


She quickly progressed to Deputy Manager in several nurseries, where she utilized her skills to create warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environments. As a Qualified SENCO, she has also had the privilege of tutoring children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. Her background in the Police Force has given her a strong commitment to safeguarding, and she is dedicated to ensuring that every child in her care not only receives an excellent education but also feels safe and secure.


Now that her own children are grown, Kelly finds great joy in working with young learners and witnessing their growth firsthand. She considers it a privilege to be part of their early education and remains passionate about creating a safe, inspiring and enriching environment where every child can flourish.
