Clopton Nursery and Kids Club is an 'Outstanding’ Ofsted rated (September 2023) childcare provider for children aged 2 – 12 years.

The Nursery (for children aged 2 – 4), is a play-based learning environment. This consists of a wide variety of child and adult led daily activities that are aged appropriate and consistent with the Early Years Foundation Framework.

Staff are there to encourage, reassure and nurture to create a happy and stimulating environment.

The team are trained Nursery Practitioners who are all Paediatric First Aid Trained and the site holds the Millie’s Mark Award (since 2017).

Clopton Kids Club offers before and after school care for children who attend Thomas Jolyffe School and run a Holiday Club (during all school holidays -including In Service Days) for any children aged 2 – 11-year olds.

The setting also has access to a Forest School Site (established in 2015) and regularly organises sessions for children of all ages at no additional cost.

The overall aim of the setting is to provide the highest quality childcare, where children feel happy and secure, at a price that their community can afford.

My daughter attends nursery here and I can honestly say this nursery has improved massively from when my other daughter attended six years ago. Children seem to have different activities to do each day, staff are all very helpful and friendly. Communication is good. Clean, tidy and organised and good
management. My daughter looks forward to going on a morning. I feel reassured my daughter will be looked after well when I take her on a morning before work! Staff try their best to help with my forever-changing hours at work and accommodate my children for wrap-around care too. I don't think I have anything negative to say, such a brilliant team!

My son, who has speech and developmental delays, has come on heaps and bounds since starting nursery. All his individual needs are met with sensitivity and compassion where the staff go above and beyond. As a family, we have dealt with a lot of grief this year and all the staff in the nursery have offered
so much help, empathy and professionalism to support us as a family. I feel truly blessed to have chosen this nursery for my son. The management are very clearly training and keeping their staff led incredibly well with an amazingly strong team. There is always a lovely atmosphere within the nursery and it's very clear all staff work well together and respect each other.

My son attends the cubs room weekly and he absolutely loves it. He has gained confidence through the support of the team, is well-cared for and loves the activities provided. The learning journey is regularly updated on the app so we can see what he gets up to.
We highly recommend Clopton Nursery Trust.
Best decision we could have made.

My son enjoys his time at nursery and always says that he's had fun.
He has built good relationships with staff and speaks fondly of them.
His social integration and confidence have improved since joining nursery.
Overall we are pleased.

In my opinion, the nursery has changed for the good since they have a new headteacher.
The kids are enjoying activities. They learn letters and numbers through funny games.
They often come back home proud with a cupcake or cookie which they decorated.
A friendly atmosphere helps them make new friendships
and be happy.

Clopton Nursery has gone above and beyond to help my little girl develop.
She suffers from selective mutism but they have given the confidence and guidance to start talking.
They have an amazing team and excellent facilities.

A fantastic nursery staffed by competent lovely ladies. The management team work effectively and in a safe and caring manner. My son's development has been incredible over the last year and we are going to miss the nursery and the staff a lot. The nursery facilities are great and it has a good link
with the school next door.

Clopton Nursery provides a safe, caring and nurturing the environment and my daughter has thrived since starting in May 2017. The nursery manager is highly skilled, knowledgeable and welcoming and key information is shared with parents/carers. The staff are friendly, committed and knowledgeable and
understand the individual needs of the children. The nursery is continually seeking to develop and grow and I am secure in the knowledge that my daughter is learning, growing and cared for.
