My son attended the nursery for 3 days, the rooms are nothing like the pictures, lack of organisation and lack of care to children. On my son's settling in session there was a little girl who's nose was running the whole time I was there and not one member of staff thought to wipe her nose until I asked
them what the procedure was for this. I have been overcharged on my invoice for two consecutive months. The manager is very rude. I called and the phone was hung up to which she then said it was due to connection - later saying she thought the conversation had ended.
There is no routine for the children, they do as they want, some play with toys, some draw and some just cry for long periods of time (witnessed first hand by myself). Poor handover from staff to parents. When asked what my child had done for the day and what he ate, no one knew. I would avoid sending any child to this nursery as the care for the children is very poor. A couple of good members of staff. Avoid at all costs!

Our priority is always the well-being and development of the children in our care, and we take all concerns seriously. We will always welcome open and polite dialogue, but there is a clear expectation that our staff are treated with respect. Staff follow proper hygiene procedures, ensure engaging activities for children, & provide full handovers to parents. Nursery routine allows for both child-led and adult-led activities, with settling in sessions intentionally booked during child-led sessions to ensure new children feel comfortable within the room more quickly. Invoice queries regarding late start & abrupt departure were amended at the discretion of the nursery and in variation to terms and conditions.The nursery has been more than accommodating with regards to support and flexibility offered throughout this family's short period with us, including offering additional external assistance where requested.Other relevant factors cannot professionally be raised on this platform.

Our child has had a wonderful experience here.
The teachers are incredibly understanding, patient, and caring. They've handled every situation, including potty training accidents, gracefully. We love the daily feedback the teachers provide at the end of the day.
The teachers also have a knack for
keeping the children excited and learning, even during challenging moments.
The all-inclusive meals are a huge plus, and we're so grateful for the nutritious meals our child receives. We've noticed a significant improvement in our child's vocabulary and social skills.
Overall, we are incredibly impressed with the quality of care and education provided here. We highly recommend this preschool to any parent seeking a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.

Staff are amazing. My both children went to Wellingtons Nursery and little one started when she was 11 months old and here she comes to her final year! I highly recommend as they have lots of fun activities and children are very happy and enthusiastic.

He was in the baby room for 6 months (left due to work reasons) they made us feel so comfortable and happy leaving the little one there, we got regular updates which helped ease my mind whilst working, and the smile on my little one's face when he saw his key worker in the baby room said it all and
how much he loved being there and with her. They continuously helped develop his skills and progress in all areas. Although in the baby room, we saw other staff members due to the later pick-up time and they were all great with my little one making him smile.

I couldn't have chosen a better nursery for my baby.

All staff are brilliant! Very polite and caring. Teachers from my son's group help him a lot with his speech progress and always try to help with every issue raised. I strongly recommend this nursery. It helps the child to build skills needed in school and supports his independence.

Very happy with the nursery. The staff are great and very approachable. My daughter is very happy there once she settles and they are very good at dealing with a child's individual needs. The all-inclusive part like nappies, snacks, etc included makes it so much easier.

We always had a good experience with the nursery. Our daughter is always happy to turn back there. She never cries when arrives at the moment to go to the nursery. She is always smiling when she is coming home from there. If she is happy there, we are happy too. So, we are grateful to all the staff

The nursery is good, the staff are very cooperative. My daughter enjoys her time with her teachers and friends. She learns good things every day, they do lots of activities. She has become more confident. She loves to go to nursery every day.

My daughter has started at Wellingtons a few weeks ago. She is only ten months old, and I was quite nervous for her. I am so grateful to the staff members who made these adjustments much easier for her. They update me every day and from time to time send photos to the app. I can see that my daughter
likes the people there very much even though she still cries in the mornings.

Both our children have been at Wellingtons since they were 1 year old. Our oldest had such a positive experience that we had no reason not to send our second one there. She loves it. Staff are friendly and helpful, there is a real sense that they genuinely care for the welfare and development of the
children and they keep us up to date through the online app (and regular parental sessions pre-COVID). Any issues are always taken seriously and dealt with appropriately, and the owners are responsive to feedback. Nurseries are run on tight margins, but we've never felt they've short-changed us.

Beckee has worked in childcare for over 7 years and has a real passion for the profession, and for ensuring that children are given the best opportunities to flourish and grow. Qualifying in 2021 as an Early Years Teacher, and due to complete her Masters in Education shortly, Beckee works hard to keep her knowledge and skills up to date and ensure that developments in thinking and practice are conveyed to her team.


Since joining us at Regent Place, Beckee has helped to establish a true feeling of calm and stability within the nursery and has gained a strong reputation for bringing out the best in her staff.


Beckee has lots of experience in early years and absolutely loves spending time in the rooms with the children, thinking up lots of messy and wonderful learning activities. If she isn't in the office, you will probably find her in the rooms having as much fun as the children!

Lesley Reedie

Job Title: Operations Director

Joined: 2014

Lesley is a founding Director of the Wellington Day Nurseries Group, having worked with us since 2014. She brings with her over 30 years of childcare experience, a vocation sparked from volunteering at her son’s nursery and school, that led to working as a preschool practitioner and progression to nursery manager in that first nursery. Lesley then moved across to a college role as childcare teacher, moving up to Head of the Childcare department. This unique career gives us breadth and depth of experience in childcare and the Early Years curriculum, along with the very important requirements of staff training and development.
Lesley and her husband John have 2 children and 3 grandchildren, one of which may well follow in her (Wellington) footsteps. When not at work, Lesley loves spending time at the seaside, relaxing with a glass of something bubbly while watching the sea.
