Overall Experience

We are so pleased that we chose Oakdene Day Nursery. Since our son started at just 7 months old, we have been nothing but impressed. The staff are fantastic and always do their best for the children. The facilities are amazing, such great outdoor space and new toys are always appearing!

Overall Experience

Our daughter joined the baby room at Oakdene Day Nursery 6 months ago and settled very quickly. The staff are lovely, always sweet and gentle to our daughter and greeting her with smiles. The facility is well maintained and the children are engaged in a variety of activities, crafts, sensory play, reading,

singing and outdoor play. My daughter is happy to be dropped off every day and feels at home in Oakdene Day Nursery. The staff take into consideration any request from the parents and follow it diligently (sleeping patterns, medication, dietary requests) The only improvement point I would suggest would be to perhaps offer a larger variety of vegetables in the meals although I understand they need to appeal to all children and a bit more attention to cleaning up the hands and faces after eating. Overall we are really happy with the care and attention our daughter is getting and she always surprises us with new songs she’s learned. Would highly recommend Oakdene to prospective parents.

So pleased and happy we choose Oakdene Day Nursery for our daughter. From day one the staff and owner have been fantastic and it's always felt like a big family atmosphere. Overall Experience

We absolutely love Oakdene Day Nursery. My third child is now in the toddler room and she has flourished there. It’s a fantastic setting with a real family feel and they make great use of the outdoor space on the farm. It is now not the most convenient nursery for us in terms of locality to us but I

couldn’t imagine sending her anywhere else. All three of mine have loved it here and flourished and still talk about the staff (older ones now being 9 and 6!)
The staff have been so wonderful working through such a changing time but at no point have they provided a less than exemplary service and care. They have also taken on tasks that have helped my daughter so much like water play and hair brushing, and slowly working with her and us she has gone from fearing getting close to a bath to refusing to get out of a bath or swimming pool.
Ultimately, Oakdene is a wonderful, loving and nurturing environment and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Overall Experience

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter receives at Oakdene Day Nursery, she absolutely adores it and is really thriving. She's been there since she was 10-months old and is now nearly two and about to move up to the toddler room. The staff are so friendly and caring, it feels like all those

we come into contact with, not just her key worker, have really taken the time to get to know her. Most of the staff have been there a long time too, this is definitely a very good sign. One of the key factors for us when choosing a nursery was the opportunity for the kids to spend lots of time outdoors, something they definitely do at Oakdene Day Nursery! They do such a range of activities there, and we love reading the daily report to see what she's been up to. The food is varied too and cooked on site. Oh, and if you're worried that your little one won't nap at nursery, don't be, the staff worked out what suited our daughter and worked their magic.

My daughter has gone to Oakdene Day Nursery for about 18 months and she is very happy. She looks forward to going and comes out happy and exhausted! She has made lots of friendship with pupils and wonderful staff who really care.
The nursery has a real family feel and I would recommend it to any parent.

Overall Experience

We adore Oakdene Day Nursery. They worked so hard to settle our daughter during Covid times and she has thrived under their care. They are so child-led in all they do and have built such wonderful relationships with her and with me as the parent who drops off/collects. They are so approachable and friendly.

We couldn’t be happier at Oakdene. Would highly, highly recommend.

Overall Experience

My youngest attended Oakdene Day Nursery and my only wish is I'd found them for when my eldest was at nursery. I cannot praise them enough.
The majority of the staff are long-standing which speaks volumes; it should always be one of the questions you ask when you visit a nursery. If they have a very

high turnover, something isn't right.
The staff are all incredible, but a special shout out to the manager who stole all of our hearts. My son still talks about her.
Go see it, you'll see why we loved it so much.

I could not recommend Oakdene Day Nursery highly enough! My son started when he turned one in the baby room and is now three and attends the preschool. I was quite anxious about how he would initially settle, having been with me pretty much 24/7 before I had to return to work. However, I needn’t have

worried. The staff are incredibly warm and comforting (to both children and parents!) which made the separation for us both much easier to cope with. They go above and beyond to ensure your child is happy and feels safe, which is all I could ask for as a parent. My son has made some lovely friends and formed strong relationships with staff too. A special mention to his key worker, who is just wonderful.
The outdoor space is brilliant and I love knowing how much my son gets to be outside and explore, whatever the weather!
I feel very lucky to have such a lovely setting that I feel confident leaving my son to develop and grow in. Thank you Oakdene!

Overall Experience

We absolutely love Oakdene Day Nursery! We visited quite a few nurseries and had a long list of things that were important to us and as soon as we met the owner and amazing staff at Oakdene we knew we wanted our boys to go there.
Our eldest started in 2018 and our youngest a year later, and they’ve

both thrived. We love how personal the care and support is, it feels like a real family environment and our sons have always felt safe and cared for there. They’re great at helping us if we’ve got any questions or worries, and they’re always there with a smile at the end of a long day.
They do so much with the children, and the outdoor setting is brilliant. We couldn’t fault Oakdene, we’ll really miss it when our youngest starts school. Would recommend to anyone looking for a really lovely, safe and happy environment for their children to go to nursery in.

Overall Experience

We have had such an amazing experience at Oakdene Nursery. Both our boys are now attending with the eldest about to 'graduate' this year. The staff are super friendly, patient and kind and have been absolutely amazing in the way they have coped over the last 2 years of uncertainty. The indoor and outdoor

space and field is excellent for burning off steam, I couldn't recommend or rate the staff and care provided higher!

Overall Experience

From the moment we first visited Oakdene Day Nursery with our eldest son back in 2015 we knew it was the nursery we wanted our children to attend; every single staff member said hello to us and, more importantly, cooed over our son and their love for the children really shone from the start!
The atmosphere

is relaxed and happy, both of our sons have loved attending the nursery. We had a few separation anxiety issues with both boys and all the kind, caring staff handled it with professional ease looking after the tears of the boys and me! If it was a particularly difficult drop-off, they would call me to update me that my little one was laughing and giggling within minutes which really helped to settle any doubts I had about leaving my babies.
Every member of staff feels like family, we can honestly say we love them as much as they have loved our boys over the years. I recommend them to anyone who is expecting a baby. The care is exceptional and I wouldn't dream of using anywhere else!

Overall Experience

We are so happy our daughter is at Oakdene, she loves it, and we feel it is helping her develop into a confident, bubbly and bright toddler. All the staff are just lovely, make us all feel at home, and we have 100% confidence that she is being well looked after and given plenty of love and affection.

She is 20-months, and the first thing she said this morning was 'nursery again', full of excitement. Oakdene was wonderful with settling in following a year of lockdown, she was given plenty of time and attention, and it all felt very relaxed. I would recommend it to anyone!

The entire team at Oakdene are fantastic. My eldest attended from the age of 6-months until he left to go to school this last autumn, and my youngest currently attends 4-days a week, he’s also been going since 6-months and is now 2-years. I trust them 100%, and both my children have been incredibly

happy, well looked after and have had so much fun there! I will genuinely miss seeing the staff every day once my 2-year-old leaves to go to school; it’s become a home away from home. The manager and the whole Oakdene family are the best there is.

Oakdene nursery is a fantastic place of fun and learning. It is a lovely setting with excellent facilities especially outdoors. It really is one big family! The staff and owners are so friendly and kind and they are passionate and caring about what they do. The activities and provision are great and

designed with your child’s interests in mind. Our little girl has thrived since starting at 9 months old. They know her as well as we do and have helped her to make an amazing start to life. And best of all, she loves it! As a parent, all you want is for your child to be loved, happy and safe and Oakdene have been outstanding in their love and support for our daughter. We really couldn’t ask for anything better. Our little one leaves this summer and I know that we will remember Oakdene as a place of happy memories and we will miss it greatly!

Overall Experience

My second child is currently attending Oakdene Nursery. Both my partner and I work full time, so both boys have attended Oakdene from a very young age – in fact, weeks! It takes a lot as a Mum to leave your child at that early age with the high expectation that someone else is actually going to bring

your child up, realistically has more hours of contact with your child, and there is no better place than Oakdene to give children a solid start to life. The staff vary in age and experience but add such quality to the whole experience. My son who started in the baby room when only weeks old is now settled within the pre-school room. He attends full-time, and if able to, he would attend at weekends and sleepovers.
Oakdene is a family run nursery with incredibly passionate staff who strive to develop each individual to their true potential. Teamwork and passion shine through at Oakdene. I can not recommend Oakdene enough. You are all truly amazing!

We are so unbelievably impressed with Oakdene Day Nursery. We have had our son there for a little over a year and he has absolutely thrived under the brilliant staff at Oakdene. Every member of staff is so welcoming and friendly, it feels home from home there. My son always has an exciting story to
