The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne is located on the Wellesbourne Campus, making it convenient for those working or living near Warwick University. The nursery has been carefully planned to provide children with opportunities to develop and grow, and each room is equipped with age-appropriate resources to support children's development. Wonderful nursery, my son loves going to the nursery every day. His development has improved greatly since attending The Old Station Nursery last year. The staff are caring, and approachable, and have gone above and beyond with my son’s specific needs. The manager is very friendly, and approachable,
communicates well with us and the staff all work as a cohesive team. They have made us feel welcomed very the very start. The outdoor space is wonderful, we are updated daily on what activities my son has participated in each day. Would recommend The Old Station Nursery to anyone in the area.

We couldn't be happier with how our son has settled into The Old Station Nursery and this is very much thanks to the manager and baby room staff. The time and effort that they have put in to ease his transition (from crying a lot at drop off to leaning over to be taken within a week or two!) and help
him to nap has been wonderful. The staff are friendly, attentive and caring, and his development over the short time he has been there is impressive. We are so pleased that we chose this nursery.

Our daughter attends this nursery and she thoroughly enjoys every day she is there! She’s only been there a few months, but she has such a lovely bond with the staff there and not just those in her room. She’s developed so much since being there and her key worker is in regular contact with us about
her development, including her socialisation with other children and adults. We are entirely thrilled with the nursery and its peace of mind for us to know that she enjoys going, looks forward to going and is happy and comforted when she’s there.

Absolutely Brilliant! The staff are all so friendly and approachable, both of my children love their time there. They were allowed to settle in gently which has meant that drop-offs are a breeze and they always come out smiling, happy and telling me all about the fun they’ve had. Staff always give you
a thorough rundown of their day as well as regular app updates. The play areas are spacious and well-equipped and my children love the outdoor space and get plenty of chance to explore this. My children’s development with speech and life skills have come on rapidly and noticeably since being at Old Station, and we’re looking forward to our parent's evening! All staff are extremely professional at all times and ensure nothing gets misplaced, and even though our children are allowed to get mucky (and are encouraged to)! They always come out with clean clothes and faces. The manager could not be more helpful, and time has been taken to establish great relationships with key workers.

I'm a triplet mum and my girls started July 2023, they were supposed to start in late September but due to ill health, the nursery kindly got them in earlier.
The manager is an absolute asset to the nursery and is never too shy to get her hands dirty and work both offices and floor, the dedication
she puts into her work doesn't go amiss.
The team are all very good and my girls bond dearly with them all, I'm a very anxious mum and the whole nursery made me feel at ease and very welcoming which made me choose them overall.
Would recommend it highly to friends and family.

If I could give more stars, I would! The manager and her fabulous, energetic team have been nothing but brilliant towards our little boy during his time at OSN Wellesbourne. The manager has shown her improvements throughout the Nursery during 2023 and it is very clear her passion for her job and her
nursery is matchless. All of the ladies within the toddler room, (in fact all of the rooms) are professional and it is clear that each and every one of them is doing the right job. Our son had a tricky start to the year in a setting elsewhere, OSN took him in and his nerves soon disappeared, and he was excited for Nursery every day! A special thank you to his key worker, who made his stay the most settled we have ever seen him and his key skills have thrived since. Thank you all at OSN Wellesbourne. You're all brilliant!

The care for my child is incredible. I’m so happy to send my son, he loves all the staff & they always take the time to update me. I get regular updates on the app. Photos could be sent more frequently, however, this is not essential.

I couldn’t ask for a more welcoming and caring setting for my daughter. The relationships built between the staff and children are so special and I feel my child is in completely safe hands. The setting is well-equipped with a variety of educational resources and the outdoor space is fantastic, offering

Our daughter has made a fantastic start in nursery. She is developing so much, learning new words and has started to walk. The carers are all lovely and seem to provide very good one on one care with each child.

My child seems very happy and settled at Seedlings and always smiling when we pick them up. The staff all seem very capable and friendly and easy to deal with.
It would be really useful to have a weekly lunch/snack menu posted on the parent's app or emailed so we can monitor their diet a little more
closely whilst out and look for any potential trigger foods and likes/dislikes.

The nursery is brilliant. Both my boys have been at The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne from Pips to Blooms, and they are both thriving; I put this down to the love and affection from the staff at the setting. The outdoor space is great; there is so much for them to do.
There has been a lot of investment
in the nursery since the changeover, and I hope they look at the forest school and bring this back for summer. This is truly a setting worthy of all the great reviews.

Brilliant nursery. Staff always so friendly and clearly care about all the children. Great variety of activities available every day. Shame the nature garden appears to not be used anymore and has been allowed to become very overgrown

Lovely nursery and staff and setting. Our child is very happy. The fees charged on top of "free" hours are very high and they are not very transparent with billing making it very difficult to check what you are being charged. We weren't given a choice whether to stretch the hours. It has taken me months
to resolve queries on bills.

Thank you for your feedback on funding. When a nursery place is taken all year round, we do normally stretch funded hours across the year so that parents/carers have more consistency with their funding. In addition, the Additional Service Charge covers items which are not covered by the Government funding scheme, such as the cost of meals, nappies (where applicable), extra activities and suncream etc, as well as continuous staff training so that we are able to continue to provide high-quality childcare to you and your family. The Code of Practice recognises the need for this which can be found by searching for ‘Early Education and Childcare Statutory Guidance’.

The staff are truly lovely at The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne. My son currently attends the Pips room (under 2 years) and absolutely loves it.
The staff are so attentive and have been really helpful with managing his conditions including eczema and a food allergy. I was nervous about how a nursery
would handle these things but the staff have put our minds at ease.
Our son has been attending the nursery for 9 months and every day we can see how much he is developing. The nursery gets him involved in lots of fun activities and messy play, as well as having lots of time outdoors. They have also given us useful advice including helping us to get our son to sleep better.
Thank you for doing such a wonderful job taking care of our son.

We are so happy with the care our daughter receives. She started when she was 8 months old and watching her development since she started has been wonderful. The activities she does every day are stimulating, and she eats all the food provided (which she doesn’t do at home!). She loves all the staff
and constantly asks for them when we’re at home. This nursery is a little out of the way for us but we wouldn’t dream of moving her, because she loves it so much.

My daughter is happy and settled and comes home telling me all the things she has done. Recent staff changes have left her a little unsettled but all staff seem caring and understanding.
Hopefully the Forest school will be used more now the gate has been fixed and I look forward to seeing what the
summer weather brings.

My daughter enjoys nursery. We have kept her at Wellesbourne despite moving a 30-minute drive away as she is so settled. She learns new things at an incredible rate. There has been a high turnover of staff since we have been at the nursery which is sometimes difficult to explain to her. It would be
nice to have more frequent observations recorded and regular parents evenings,

My little boy recently graduated from Seedlings to attend big school! What a day! They had a little ceremony and wore caps! I had a tear in my eye as it was a sad day as well as a special day! My son started when he was just 11 months back in 2012. What a fabulous journey he has had! He has learnt so
much, made wonderful friends and loved the staff. He was very happy at Seedlings!
