If you are looking for a friendly, professional, caring, stable nursery - then this is a perfect choice. My son is shortly leaving for his next adventure and has been at this nursery for 3-years. I have never once had any issues and always felt my son was in the best hands. My son also has a couple
of health issues which the staff have been amazing with. There will be tears in a few weeks when we have to say our goodbyes.

Reply from Fiona Thomson, Manager at St Andrew's Day Nursery

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It has been the greatest pleasure getting your little boy ready for the next adventure, those 3-years have gone really fast!
It really is nice to hear positive feedback and to hear that you felt that your son was in the best hands whilst being with us.
Thank you again.

My son has been going to St Andrew's Day Nursery for 5 months now and he absolutely loves it. He also adores all the staff there and feels comfortable/safe in their care. This makes me feel so relaxed and puts my mind at ease. He’s happy so I’m happy. He has learnt so much since he started and his confidence
has grown incredibly.

The nursery is excellent! It has such a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. It is always clean and tidy. All the rooms are colourful, interactive and engaging for the children with plenty of toys and topic related activities to explore. The new sensory room is amazing and such a haven for the children’s development. The outdoor learning area is fabulous and the staff are always making changes or adding areas to the garden to offer a range of learning opportunities.

The owners, managers and staff are all wonderful and so helpful. They create such a warm, caring and fun environment. They are always friendly and approachable.
I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent nursery - my son has developed so much over the past 6 months that he has been there from the care of the nursery staff. Facilities and activities are varied and interesting.

My son has been at this nursery for just over two years now, he has been in all three rooms and progressed so much. At first, he wasn’t keen on going, but all the girls made him feel welcome and he has made such good friends. He is improving every time he goes and making us prouder every day. He struggled
with his speech when he first started, but they have all worked so hard with him, now it’s like there was never a problem. I can’t thank the girls enough for all the care and support they give. I would highly recommend this nursery, all the girls do such an amazing job! Definitely thinking of putting our other little boy in there once I head back to work!

My daughter absolutely loves coming to St Andrew's, I instantly knew this was the right nursery for her as soon as I walked through the door. She has been here for over 2 years now and everyday I'm proven why I made the right choice! All the staff are amazing and I know they have so much passion for
the job they do and so much compassion for the children. It's a truly amazing nursery and seeing the huge smile on my daughters face when I drop her off each day tells me so!

My son has attended this nursery for 3 years. He started as a shy child, who cried when I left him but that soon changed because he adores this nursery and has had quality first care in all 3 rooms; babies, toddler and pre-school. He has built secure relationships with staff who care very much about
the children they look after. Communication between staff and myself have always been great, and that really helps when you're a busy working mum. I've never felt like they didn’t have enough time to talk to me about my son, his needs, his progress, and just generally his day. I work full time and when selecting a nursery visited a number of nurseries, none of which in my opinion compared to the facilities, staff, routines, activities or care that St Andrews provides. Having recently had a newborn, he will also be attending this nursery. I couldn’t think of anywhere better for him to go. It’s a home away from home for my children.

Thank-you for your wonderful review it means such a lot to us at St Andrew's Nursery. We try very hard to ensure we meet all of our children's and parents needs and we are very proud to say we have got the balance just right. We spend time listening to our parents and giving them the time and opportunities to provide us with feedback and ideas for their children and the nursery. Our staff are passionate and enthusiastic and this is reflected in the day to day care. We are always striving to improve and we have worked very hard to be a 'Good ' nursery. Many thanks

My daughter attended St Andrews for 4 months and we removed her following numerous issues after much stress. She had 2 key workers one of which managed the room and was on several occasions openly rude and confrontational towards myself. The 2nd came across very unconfident and lacking knowledge. Most
suggestions made by myself on development areas I was working on at home were met with dismissal as they seemed to stick very rigidly to 'typical' development ages rather than considering children as individuals. Despite their refusal to work on these areas at the nursery my daughter then achieved these at home a few weeks later. The other key issue was around safety, she had numerous accidents whilst at the nursery, which in my opinion could have been easily avoided if the items in the room had been thoroughly risk assessed in advance and the staff had been appropriately vigilant.

We would firstly like to state in response to this review that as a high-quality Nursery, we always go the extra mile in addressing any parent’s concerns and will always work extremely closely with parents and carers as any child’s happiness and welfare will always be of paramount importance to us. This is always our main priority and is clearly reflected in the extensive feedback we receive from our parents, both in writing and informally through direct comments. All of our staff work tirelessly to make St Andrew’s a wonderful Nursery which is also reflected in the very high levels of satisfaction we receive. We are a fully inclusive Nursery and the care of every individual child is important to us.

In this particular case, we can only apologise if it was felt the nursery did not take the concerns seriously. We felt that we did, in fact, take the complaint seriously, which we do in every instance on the rare occasion that something happens, and additionally looked to resolve the issue in a professional manner at all times. This included reviewing staff practices, risk assessments, staff ratios and all policies and procedures. In all cases, matters were correct and reflected best practice. However, we were, of course, happy to openly discuss the complaint and took every measure we could to improve our processes and procedures further.

St Andrew’s Nursery will always provide wonderful learning opportunities for children as well as a safe and exceptionally caring environment, with dedicated and wonderful staff which is reflected in comments we have received from staff, parents, Warwickshire County Council and Ofsted. It is with regret that on this occasion we were unable to meet the expectation of one of our parents but do appreciate the feedback which we will always welcome as a further source to continuously help us improve.

Thank you again.
