Langley Mill Childcare provides a fun and stimulating approach to early years care and education.

Within a safe, friendly and fun environment, with both indoor and outdoor play areas, children are supported by qualified and experienced staff to learn through play to develop a wide range of skills and interests. Guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage, each key person plans activities to support each child to achieve their next steps, taking their interests and characteristics of learning into account.   

There is a strong focus on healthy eating at the setting with fresh food cooked on the premises. Several fun days and events are held through the year, giving parents the opportunity to get involved if they wish.

The nursery was rated Good by Ofsted in August 2017 and is managed by the Early Years Alliance, a registered charity.

They have up to 30 hours funded childcare places available for qualifying 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

I can not rate this nursery highly enough. The staff are warm, caring and develop excellent relationships with the children.
There are always creative and interactive activities on offer and lots to fill the day. My youngest particularly enjoys forest school activities. The pre-school offers fantastic
preparation for reception class, the staff are gently encouraging my little one and helping him with the skills he will need for his first year at school. Most importantly, I know that when I have dropped him off in the morning, I know he is safe and happy.

Fantastic nursery, my son is currently in Babies and has settled in amazingly well very quickly, compared to my previous experience with a childminder. All staff are very friendly and professional and my son is developing exceptionally fast. Fantastic nursery. Thanks.

My son started attending nursery in November 2019. The staff are really friendly and he has settled really well. I love seeing the range of activities they do and the app they use with information about his activities, milestones and events at nursery is really good.

This is by far the best nursery in the area.
I went to view all other nurseries in the area before choosing this one for my eldest son 5 years ago. None of the other nurseries are up to the standard of Langley Mill Childcare. They build excellent relationships with your children and take the time out
for each child as an individual.
It’s extremely clean which was something I was very particular about.
They put on a great range of activities for your child which are also focused on your child’s development.
They have a good range of food to offer your child.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. The staff at the nursery have always remained the same which tells me that the staff are very well looked after. The managers are always so helpful when I need 5 minutes with them or if I need help and advice.
They use an app called ‘famly’ so you can keep up to date on your child’s day from your phone which is excellent. I could go on all day. Highly recommended.

Have absolutely no problems with this nursery.
My daughter loves coming and it's no problem if I have to change a day from time to time always very helpful and accommodating as much as possible.

Excellent caring staff always pleased to see you and your child. Helpful and always go out of their way so you receive the right information about your child. My child enjoys nursery and always is happy to go. Quality of care is excellent and there is always a variety of activities to do every day.
The
nursery always has an opportunity for parents to come and see for themselves what the children are doing and encourage us to join in so we can carry on with activities at home. So pleased with this nursery as my 2nd child is there and I have been using the nursery for 3 years.

3 of my children have gone to this nursery and all 3 of them love it here. The level of care towards the children is outstanding. The staff get the children learning new things and trying activities that they wouldn’t normally do. It is a brilliant nursery and all 3 of the children really look forward
to going.

The care of the children is utmost at Langley Mill Childcare. The friendly helpful staff create a warm environment. There is a great array of activities from painting, baking and swing to help with children's creativity and coordination. There is a large assortment of toys to play with to let children's
fun and imagination flourish.

She has a level 3 Childcare qualification, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and regularly attends short courses and workshops to keep her skills up to date.


Sue enjoys seeing supporting the families in the area.
