My son has attended busy bees since April 2022. He joined in the baby room and throughout his journey through the different rooms, all staff members are very friendly and child centred. The food is very well planned for their daily nutritional requirements which has been great peace of mind for my son
who is on the small side.
They regularly invite you into nursery for afternoon teas, Christmas lunches and Christmas carols. Grandparents even get invited in.
My child has made many friends, including the staff who he wants to invite to his birthday party!

We have used this nursery since 2021. Our eldest has transitioned into school fantastically, and nursery played an huge part in how ready he was for school. Our second child started last month, and the care she is given and the experiences she is exposed to are second to none. The staff are caring,
friendly and professional. I feel like she is looked after like one of their own, I feel she is safe and happy. The communication is always excellent. They go above and beyond for their children and families.

Absolutely love the team at Gibfield Lane. We are using the nursery for our second child after having used Gibfield Lane for our first child. The staff are friendly, conscientious and go above and beyond with the fun activities they do with the children. The nursery is well run and we receive regular
correspondence from management. We love the updates on the app and the handovers at the start/end of the day are fantastic. Our little one loves his days at nursery!

I have two children who attend this nursery and they both love going.
The staff are amazing- friendly and caring. They have excellent relationships with the children in their care and tailor activities to children's interests.
Staff are really good at communicating with parents and supportive when

My child has been attending here since he was 10 months old, he's now in preschool and he he absolutely loves it, the staff are brilliant with him, always kept upto date with what he's been doing during the day, the management team are very accommodating and always there to answer any questions or queries,
my child starts school in September and I will be sad for him to leave here.

Lovely nursery: both my children have been there. Well looked after and cared for. Staff are friendly and approachable, my daughter knows all their names, from the chef to the office staff - sign of a good set of staff.

Our little boy is 22 months old and has been going to nursery since he was 18 months old. He absolutely loves it. We've noticed a significant improvement in his speech, language, and communication development, his sharing with other children and all over confidence. I especially love seeing all of the
updates throughout the day and seeing all of the crafts he gets up to. It's so heartwarming to see how happy he is when he's there. The staff are all so amazing and caring, which gives me immense comfort knowing he's with people who genuinely care. Thank you for everything you do for our children.

My daughter is so settled and happy with this nursery. I couldn't recommend it enough, staff are all lovely, all know my daughter by name. I cannot overstate how happy I am with this nursery. The space for the children is lovely with plenty of activities and outdoor space. My little girl loves being at nursery and is always excited to tell me how she had a good day at nursery and what activities she did. The staff are outstanding - they
take the time to provide an update at the end of the day, answer questions and give advice. They're always happy to work with parents on things like potty training and eliminating binkie use. And most importantly, my child is excited to see her key worker and the other ladies in her room and is happy to get cuddles and reassurance from them.

Brilliant nursing with highly trained and supportive staff. My daughter has been at the nursery for about 5 months and the staff helped her settle in really well. I feel the staff promote a high level of education and learning and really care about the children. Staff are really supportive of parents
and their worries too. Management are excellent at communicating with parents and seems to really support their staff.

The team at Gibfield Lane Busy Bees Nursery are excellent. They have a child-centred approach, they are caring and nurturing. They have been endlessly flexible and supportive to those of us with difficult jobs like myself. I am a doctor and I am always hugely impressed with how confidently, safely and
kindly they cope with illness or injury in children and how sensible their policies are on sickness. I have two children both of whom have been cared for by the staff at Gibfield Lane and I could not think of a better, safer, more wonderful environment for them to learn and thrive. The staff are excellent, communication is great and nothing is too much bother.

My little boy has been attending since September 2024 when he was 10 months old. He really struggled to settle into nursery but his staff members did everything they could to get him to settle in. They came up with idea of bringing a comforter in with him and since then he has loved going. He now goes
to nursery with a big smile on his face and leaves with a big smile. He has an amazing relationship with his keyworker and the other workers.

Hi my name is Kaysha and I am the Centre Director here at Belper Gibfield Lane.


I have worked for Busy Bees since 2013, joining here as Nursery Manager in July 2017 and since then I haven't looked back! I thoroughly enjoy each and every day of my career, from making memories for each child to developing my staff's knowledge. One of my most precious highlights from managing our nursery was our Outstanding from OFSTED in June 2018. I am a mum myself and have two children. My son who now attends school attended nursery from the age of 5 months and my daughter who now comes to Gibfield Lane Nursery and herself has been here since 6 months old! I know how daunting it can be to take that step at looking into childcare and thinking about entrusting your most treasured possession into the hands of someone else. I hope that when you come and visit and meet myself and my fantastic staff team all of your worries and concerns will disappear as we will answer any queries you may have for your child starting with us.


I am so very lucky to have a team that is well established and always aim to deliver the highest possible level of childcare and always with a smile. I have an absolute passion to ensure all children are able to access the best possible start in life and to provide them with the outstanding start in life that they all deserve.
