Both our daughters are now attending Busy Bees, Gibfield lane, Belper. We could not be happier with the environment provided. Our children absolutely love their nursery days and have bonded well with the staff in their rooms. As parents, we feel happy and comfortable leaving our children in the care
of the warm, friendly and professional staff. We could not ask for more from a nursery.

Friendly, caring staff! My daughter is always happy to attend and is thriving.

My Son started here September 24, it was a very emotional time for all involved but the staff made it that bit easier, knowing he's in very good hands and enjoys his time at nursery with the lovely staff. The food choices are great lots of variety and always smells lovely!
We are always greeted with
a smiley face upon arrival. The staff are all friendly and lovely especially in "bumbles"
My Son has learnt so much from nursery in such a short time. The managers always have a friendly face and nothing is to much trouble. And most importantly I never have to worry about him being there, as I know he's is very well looked after.

The staff are fantastic. Very enthusiastic and have helped my children learn so much at an early age. The daily hangovers are informative, and app is helpful keep an eye on nap, feeding and nappy changes/times.

Gibfield Lane is a lovely nursery with brilliant staff who really care about the children.
The building is lovely and well maintained and they have really made the most of the space that they have.

Our daughter has some amazing skills of counting, telling alphabet letters, colours, days of the week and so much more and that of course has been impacted by the nursery on top of what we do at home. She is always walking in happy and all staff are so supportive.

Busy Bees has been a second home to my children since 2018. The staff are genuinely like family to us. As parents we are both 100% sure that our children are safe there and they developed/are developing beautifully there. Although our son’s school has a nursery now, we chose to drive 25 minutes just
for our daughter to be at Busy Bees.

Staff at Busy Bees Belper Gibfield Lane are wonderful. They get to know each individual child and greet them all personally. They all listen to yours and your child's wants and needs carefully and nothing is ever too much for them. The children's meals and snacks are all carefully planned to ensure
they get their five-a-day and they eat together in a lovely, social setting which is great for picky toddlers! They have such a fabulous selection of toys to play with, singing time, storytime, nap time, outdoor time, everything you'd want for your child to keep on learning in a fun way. Thank you Busy Bees! Recommend to everyone with little ones.

The staff in the Bombos room have been amazing with helping my 10 month old to settle into the nursery life. We have been kept updated with how he is doing daily and have been sent lots of photos on the app.

My little boy loves nursery and that's all down to the staff - so friendly and nurturing - I genuinely believe he feels at home during his sessions here. He's very settled when I drop him off for the day and beams when I pick him up at the end of the day. He's always bringing artwork home and the staff
makes me feel very involved and updated with everything that goes on at nursery. The care given to him is evident of how happy my son is here, I can't thank you all enough for being so amazing.

Busy Bees Nursery has always provided a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for my child. All staff are warm, friendly and provide detailed hand overs at the end of the day. They build positive relationships with children and make a real effort to get to know their preferences, people who are
special to them and their life beyond nursery. Any accidents are well recorded and parents are always informed even if this is a minor injury or mild illness symptoms. Updates on the app very informative and give a great insight into nursery which informs conversations at home. My child loves attending nursery and has grown in confidence. It is great to see him so happy, enthusiastic and thriving in his group.

My son has been coming since he was 9 months old. He loves attending nursery and although he only goes once or twice weekly, he thoroughly enjoys it and all of the staff are great and always greet us with a smile!

My daughter is in the baby room and started in September. In these unusual times were we nervous about her starting and leaving her there for the first time. However, Busy Bees have been fantastic and settled her in so well. We had a couple of settling in days and could see how clean the Baby room was
and how high the standards were compared to other nurseries we had visited.
Her key carer has looked after her so well and they have clearly developed a bond which is comforting to know when we drop her off.
They have always said we can ring anytime to see how she is, which we have and have always reassured us.
She is about to move up into the next class and it’s being done gradually by having trial days and gently introducing her to the new group and activities. It’s all been discussed with us and kept informed of her progress. The staff in the new class have introduced themselves.
In summary, they are a caring, professional nursery and feel very lucky to have a place there.

Due to personal health, my child starting nursery was a huge step to take. The staff at Treetops (Belper), Gibfield Lane, have been amazing and so supportive, from looking around to my child starting with them. Staff are so friendly and put lots of effort into ensuring that my child's needs are met
and ensuring her time with them is full of fun.
The nursery itself is clean, welcoming and well set out. Lots to keep my child engaged and she loved the themed day! Guidance around current Covid regulations in nursery is encouraging also.

My little girl moved here from another nursery where she wasn't happy. She settled in here really quickly and now loves going to nursery. She loves the dancing and crafts that they do. She often starts singing songs at home which she's obviously learnt at nursery. Her speech has really improved too.

My son has only been attending this nursery for a couple of weeks, having moved from another one and already I'm really impressed. He's two and a half so he's in the hippos room and he's settling in nicely. It was really good that I got to attend an orientation session with him so I felt like I had
a good idea of the environment I was putting him in. The staff are lovely, the key worker makes the effort to speak to me and to build a relationship with my child. I feel its more structured than his previous nursery, which is positive, as they do lots of different activities throughout the day. They also do the colour and shape of the month and story of the month, as well as themed days, which is a really nice idea. I really feel reassured that my son is happy and well looked after there and is also learning and developing to his full potential. The building is well set out, clean and modern. Overall we are both really happy!

Both of my children have been here and can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are amazing, friendly, caring and professional. The place is clean and safe. I believe the nursery really brought both of my kids on massively and prepared them for school brilliantly.

Hi my name is Kaysha and I am the Centre Director here at Belper Gibfield Lane.


I have worked for Busy Bees since 2013, joining here as Nursery Manager in July 2017 and since then I haven't looked back! I thoroughly enjoy each and every day of my career, from making memories for each child to developing my staff's knowledge. One of my most precious highlights from managing our nursery was our Outstanding from OFSTED in June 2018. I am a mum myself and have two children. My son who now attends school attended nursery from the age of 5 months and my daughter who now comes to Gibfield Lane Nursery and herself has been here since 6 months old! I know how daunting it can be to take that step at looking into childcare and thinking about entrusting your most treasured possession into the hands of someone else. I hope that when you come and visit and meet myself and my fantastic staff team all of your worries and concerns will disappear as we will answer any queries you may have for your child starting with us.


I am so very lucky to have a team that is well established and always aim to deliver the highest possible level of childcare and always with a smile. I have an absolute passion to ensure all children are able to access the best possible start in life and to provide them with the outstanding start in life that they all deserve.
