My older daughter has just left nursery (to start school) and my younger daughter is still there. They have both had a lovely experience and have learnt so much especially with eating and table manners. I feel my younger daughter is learning so much and is becoming so confident.

Busy Bees is a great nursery. I have found the staff, particularly the management, have listened to any concerns and used these to further improve the nursery. My child is always engaged in interesting activities at the nursery. (Painting, singing, cooking, arts, crafts etc.) The nursery has assisted
with my plans to toilet train, which helped my son come out of nappies at 17 months! The choice of meals is excellent. Being a vegetarian, I am extremely pleased with the options offered and how well my child eats at the nursery. This is a happy with dedicated staff. It would be nice to see the nursery arranging trips for age 1-3 too as currently I don't think this happens, but the fees increase every year for all age groups, which I think is a little unfair.

We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality care through highly trained staff, unique learning enhancements and fresh and healthy meals, so that children are given every opportunity to develop and grow in our Outstanding nursery environment, as awarded by Ofsted. Fees are very much based on the cost of living and minimum wage increase, so whilst we appreciate that fee increases are rarely welcome, we are sure that you will understand that this is necessary to support the continued investment in the staff and resources that make this possible.


We are currently looking into trips for 2016 for our 1-3’s which we did discuss at our November staff meeting last week. We work in partnership with parents to understand the individual needs of each and every child and if you have any concerns at all, myself or Sarah would be happy to discuss them with you further.


We are delighted that you and your son are happy at our Busy Bees nursery at Leicester Meridian Park and we thank you for taking the time to review our setting.
