My son seems to really enjoy coming to Busy Bees at Carlton since June 2018. His development, interpersonal skills and confidence have soared. The kids are all taken care of with nice outdoor space all year round. Staff invest time into each child their likes and dislikes and make learning fun. There
are so many activities my son is currently doing French classes and tennis (at an extra charge). The parent zone app is ideal to keep us up to date of the child's progress. Staff are friendly and professional so no drama/conflict apparent and it's an amazing nursery for all children. Keep up the good work.

Busy Bees at Carlton Park is absolutely fantastic! They always go above and beyond for all the children and parents needs. The staff are always friendly and greet with a smile. I cannot thank them enough for putting my mind at ease when leaving my two children in their care. My children also love going
every day.

My daughter adores her time at nursery! There are so many different activities done on a daily basis and their food menus vary a lot. I love the app which keeps us in the loop of what she is doing throughout the day and I've recommended you to anyone who has asked.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees at Carlton Park. My two sons have attended this nursery from the age of 1 and both love it there. Over the last 3 years, we have met all the staff and experienced each different room for the different ages groups. We always feel completely happy leaving them there
and know they are looked after so well. They have both come along leaps and bounds since attending Busy Bees. They have made friends, they love the staff and my eldest son loves to tell me about the games and activities they have done each day. I have seen both my sons become so settled and attached to a room then have to move up to the next room which is always a daunting time for both children and parents, the staff spend time and attention to make sure the new children settle in which is so reassuring and within a day or two they have been running in to play in their new room. The standard of care is fantastic, Thank you Busy Bees!

The nursery is clean secure and extremely aware of children's needs. All children have a key worker who knows them and completes their development reviews someone your child will talk about at home The home cooked food is excellent and the chef caters for all needs. The outdoor space and additional
activities such as jo jingles are loved by the children my little boy talks about them all the time.


A beautiful building with a great staff team highly recommended

Both of my children have attended Busy Bees at Carlton Park and they both love it. My eldest is now at school and regularly asks to come back. The staff are very caring, friendly and approachable, and all are very knowledgeable and fantastic at what they do. I would absolutely recommend this nursery
to anyone.

What an amazing group of loving and caring ladies that, everyday, go above and beyond for my children.
The nursery setting is welcoming and the extra activities and trips they offer for 3+ children include tennis lesson and French lessons. Every day my children come home and say how much they love
nursery and have a special bond with not just their key workers but all of the team.
The organisation of events for parents to be involved is great. Most recently the Xmas fair, to meet Santa and everyone singing carols was great fun. Highly recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been with Busy Bees at Carlton Park since he was 8 months old and he is now approaching 4. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I have never worried once about leaving my little boy at nursery. I always feel very comfortable about leaving him. They have a fantastic
routine with the children. All the children and staff always have a smile on their face. Would highly recommend.

Both my children attend (ed) Busy Bees at Carlton Park and I am extremely happy with the care and service provided by all the staff who genuinely enjoy working there.
The children both look forward to going and have thrived there, making friends, learning new skills and getting ready to go to School.
This has been such an enjoyable time of their lives & it's all down to the manager and her team.

My youngest Son has attended this nursery since September 2015 following a move from another nursery. He was made to feel welcome and settled in very quickly due to excellent and caring staff. My Son has made many friends and enjoys the numerous and varied activities that the nursery team tirelessly
create. The facilities are excellent and maintained well. The food is freshly prepared every day by the onsite kitchen team with a varied and healthy menu which my Son enjoys. The management team are friendly and approachable and are very keen to ensure the highest standards are maintained.


This is one of the more expensive nurseries in the area but having visited a number of others you really do get what you pay for which for me is the comfort of knowing my child is safe, happy and developing well in time for school next year.

Busy Bees at Carlton Park is a very good nursery. The staff are so friendly and kind and look after my son exceptionally well. I always know he is in safe and happy hands when he's there. They provide many opportunities for days away, special activities and tennis lessons at the nearby gym. My son has
special dietary needs which are mostly catered for. I would recommend this nursery.

I cannot recommend this Nursery to any prospective parents more highly! Our second daughter has been here full time since April 2016, after our first daughter left to go to school in July 2015, again having attended full time since October 2011. Both girls have been so happy at Nursery and that is
mainly due to the amazing staff in every room throughout the nursery, who care so much about the children they look after. We really feel that we are dropping our daughter off with her second family and she has so many opportunities to get involved with. In the baby room she regularly paints, cooks and has a visiting music group and as she gets older will have trips and tennis lessons to look forward too. If you are looking for a family, fun and full of energy place for your child to go, then visit Busy Bees at Carlton Park.

Great place, great facilities, great staff. Our son loves going, the nursery is attentive to his needs, doesn't try force a routine on him. There seems to be a low turnover of staff, which means great consistency and quality. The food is quality, freshly prepared on site, Soil Association Silver Awarded.
The outdoor space is usable all year round with an astro-turf area, separated into age appropriate areas and has an open grass area available too. Premises is clean, well designed and key fob controlled.
Would highly recommend to any parents. Price is on the high side, but only a couple of pounds a day, about average and what price is your child's happiness as well as peace of mind!?

Joined: 2004

Hi, my name is Justina Harrop and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Carlton Park.


I have a Diploma in Nursery Nursing and I have worked at Carlton Park nursery since 2004. I have a wealth of experience in all areas of childhood and I specialise in Special Educational Needs and Behaviour. I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nursery. I love to meet all the families and the children and provide them with the Best Start in Life and get them ready for the next stage in their life. I currently work Monday - Thursday and Katie Green my assistant manager manages on a Friday.


I look forward to showing families around our state of the art nursery in Leicester.
