Humberstone Day Nursery provides care and learning experiences for children from birth to the age of five years, in a safe and nurturing environment where children can flourish. Staff are carefully selected and are committed to providing children with a high standard of care and education. Humberstone Day Nursery has a designated, fully-qualified special educational needs coordinator who works closely with staff and parents to support any children with health and educational needs.

Children’s individual interests, abilities and learning techniques are always taken into account when planning activities to ensure they get the best out of their time at Humberstone Day Nursery. They are encouraged to play and explore, as well as develop creativity and critical thinking.

Children are encouraged to develop active and healthy lifestyles habits. The nursery provides children with nutritious, balanced meals which include fresh fruit, vegetables, oily fish and meat and poultry.

Honestly could not imagine my son going to a better nursery. All the staff there ate so lovely and exceptional in their work. They do amazing work, creating brilliant activities for the children - something new every week. They keep you updated well with his progression and developments and work well
with you to meet your child's needs. Food provided is brilliant, well-balanced meals.
Overall, my child has the best day there, and I have no worries about dropping him off in safe hands.

Humberstone Day Nursery is an excellent nursery and the staff are very friendly. My child has settled in as well as expected and the staff have made the transition as smooth as possible. Staff members are very nurturing and understand the children's needs. The variety of activities carried out at the
nursery are great, engaging and the learning opportunities are never ending. The catering service is excellent also with great choice of homemade lunches. Overall, the best move we have made.

Amazing! Make me feel so comfortable and supported even from the first day with how nervous I was at first leaving my daughter. I can see a massive difference in my child's confidence since attending nursery. So glad I made the decision to send her here!

After being in a particular nursery for 1.5 years our child changed to Humberstone Day Nursery in July. We cannot be more satisfied. The staff are all very approachable and friendly and have made the transition seamless for us. Our child always returns home happy and animated with stories at the end
of each day. It is clear the staff are very attentive and had made good connections with our child. A nursery I would not hesitate to recommend.

Humberstone Day Nursery from my experience is an outstanding nursery I can say this because since my son has attended the nursery I have seen a very large attainment of progress in the physical and social aspect of his development. I have noticed the staff have really good communication towards the
children and parents. My son enjoys the activities and exploring the outdoors while at nursery. Both managers are heavily involved in every aspect of the nursery. I am very impressed with the nursery and highly recommend Humberstone Day Nursery.

I cannot recommend Humberston Day Nursery ebough. My little boy settled in really well, and all the staff are so friendly, caring and engaging. My little boy is being assessed for Autism, and the staff have really helped with his development and independence. They always take things at his pace and
really take into account what matters to us as parents. I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

My son loves going to nursery. He enjoys the variety of activities offered with a changing theme every few weeks. He loves playing in the garden on the slide and running around with his friends. All the staff at the nursery are friendly and approachable, and they all know my son. I don't worry about
him eating at the nursery as he enjoys all the food. They are supporting us with potty training, which is really helpful.

Both my husband and I had viewed over 12 nursery settings and still had more visits booked into view when we visited Humberstone Day Nursery. We immediately knew this was the one for our daughter. The management team have been exceptional and all the staff are nothing but professional. I found the nursery
to be just as invested in my daughter's care and development as I am as her mother - this is a huge statement within itself. I cannot stress how excellent this nursery is and cannot wait to see how our daughter continues to thrive!

Humberstone Day Nursery is an amazing place for children to learn and grow. My daughter and son both attend the nursery and always come home after always having fun-filled days full of education/stimulating activities, tasty nutritional food and with such friendly, caring, and passionate staff. Humberstone
Day Nursery has such a homely feel to it and you don't ever feel just like a number. The staff really get to know all parents individually and you know that they have the childrens' best interests and wellbeing at heart. I would not hesitate to recommend Humberstone Day Nursery, it's just brilliant!

My child has been attending Humberstone Day Nursery since July 2021, I have noticed such a difference in everything eg. communication, socialising, learning something new each time he attends nursery. The staff and management are so amazing and lovely and I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Considering
only being within lockdown my child has come on leaps and bounds since attending and he absolutely loves it. You are all brilliant! Thank you.

I have brought my little girl here since she was 8 months old due to going back to work. As a first-time parent returning to work, I felt very anxious about leaving my child. When we came to have a look around I instantly felt a homely feel from the nursery, which made me feel at ease. All of the staff
were friendly and the rooms had a variety of lovely activities going on. My little girl has absolutely thrived being here, she is very happy to go in and puts her arms straight out to the staff member collecting and she has done that from very early on which is very reassuring when I’m off to work. We often get paintings and artwork sent home which is lovely to see. I’m very pleased with my choice of place and feel at ease going to work knowing she is enjoying herself and in good care.

My daughter previously attended the nursery until she started school and my son has been at the nursery for around 3 years and I honestly couldn't be happier with the nursery. It's like a family there, the children love the staff and it's clear the staff have special bonds with all the children. My
son is happy every day to go and see his friends and 'teachers' as he calls them. When you first put your babies into nursery it is very scary because you wonder if they're going to be okay, are they safe but here all those worries went away and I know my children have and will always be safe and taken care to the fullest. The management and staff are brilliant, they're welcoming and you can see how much they actually care about everyone including families. One of my favourite things about the nursery is the attention to detail, in the work they do, in the food and snacks they prepare and how they completely transform the outside and inside of the nursery for celebrations!

Both of my children have attended this nursery and one of them still does. The staff are so caring and attentive and the children talk about them so fondly at home. My little girl went to school 2 years ago and still talks about her nursery teachers, the food and often says she wishes she still went
there because it was so much fun. Throughout the pandemic the nursery and staff have adapted so well whilst managing to maintain the safe and nurturing environment that we all love. THANK YOU

Our son always has an enjoyable time at nursery. He is enthusiastic about going. During the pandemic, we feel that Humberstone Day Nursery has gone the extra mile by placing additional safety measures, such as a one-way system, no parents are allowed in, hand sanitising on the way in and separating
groups into bubbles. It's comforting to know that our child's safety comes first.

We consider ourselves so lucky to have found Humberstone Day Nursery, especially during the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19. Despite having very limited contact with other people, our daughter settled in really well. It is so great to check in on the app to see all of the lovely things that she has
been up to and how much she has been enjoying herself. The staff are all really friendly and approachable, leaving us both at ease when we drop her off in the morning. Her key person has also been really supportive with her development and we continue to be blown away by her new independence!

I was referred to this nursery by a friend who is a teacher and would have done her homework in terms of the bet nurseries locally. Therefore I did not enquire at other nurseries and booked my daughter straight here. Both the owner/director and manager are friendly and approachable and explain everything
clearly. The nursery is clean, tidy and full of activities for the children. My daughter's teachers are amazing and update me fully on how she is doing. The Tapestry app always has something new. I cannot fault this nursery and would definitely recommend it to others.

Our daughter has recently started attending the nursery. The staff couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. Always willing to help and listen.
The atmosphere is very 'homely', and the nursery is beautifully decorated. Big outdoor spaces for all ages, very clean. I feel as though my child is safe and

I have been using Humberstone Day Nursery for 6 months now and have found the staff to be very attentive, involved and hands-on. I have absolutely no concerns regarding the quality of care my child is receiving. She is happy, likes the staff, eats healthy nutritious meals and has many opportunities
