Busy Bees at Leicester City opened in 2003 and is situated in Leicester City Centre's conservation area of New Walk. The beautifully converted Grade II listed Victorian villa is within easy walking distance of the city centre, train station, Leicester University and Queen's Road.

The nursery has three light and airy floors for babies, toddlers and pre-school children, and each room has been carefully planned to give flexible space for group and individual play within the activity areas.

Two outdoor play areas keep the children at the heart of the space and design, allowing them to explore and be naturally curious. Children can engage in the world around them by growing plants and vegetables, climbing and being musical.

The experienced staff team is dedicated to providing the very best care and learning for the children whilst involving the parents by valuing their input in their child's time at the nursery.

I have had two children at Bush Babies, one has left to go to school and one is currently there. They both thoroughly enjoyed and continue to enjoy their time at nursery. They have gained great friends and learnt a lot. The carers there are are a huge asset to the nursery and work very hard. I haven't
had any negative feelings about leaving my children in their care. I thought it was great for the children when there were two male carers at the nursery, they were there for most of my daughter's time there but unfortunately, they are not there now. A negative issue I have experienced is the high turnover of staff at the nursery. I believe it is very important to me that the staff are happy in their jobs so they can care for my child properly.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery full time since she was 6 months. She is now in the pre-school group and will be there for another year. What I have always loved of Bush Babies is that it is extremely cozy, primarily thanks to the staff but also for its New Walk location and the Victorian
house that hosts it.

Our daughter has been at Bush Babies - Leicester City on New Walk since she was about 6 months old; she's now been there over 2 years. What made us choose Hollybush was the enthusiasm of the staff. We've found that they really get to know the children and really care about them as individuals. The most
important thing for us is she's happy there and has lots of fun! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a nursery have a look!

Leicester City Busy Bees have been great with my son. He was with them from the age of 2 until he was 4. Unfortunately we left the nursery a few weeks ago due to relocating and moving out of Leicester. The staff are great and the care and time the key workers spend with the children in fantastic. My
son developed a close relationship with not only his key worker but all members of staff - they all player such an important role in my sons life which has been great for him. Very professional at all times and the being best out of the children. Would recommend.

I love this nursery. I feel safe to live my son on this nursery. I will recommend to my friends to come and leave the kids because I am extremely happy with my son's development. It is very clean and organised.

My name is Stella Ramesh and I have over 30 years of experience as a qualified practitioner both in schools and daycare.


It is a pleasure to have joined the Busy Bees family which has an excellent reputation for providing the highest quality of care and education.


I too am passionate about ensuring your children continue to be happy during their time at nursery and will grow into confident, enthusiastic learners, ready for school and the new challenges they will face.
