Butterwick Preschool is conveniently situated on the same site as Butterwick Primary school. The team is dedicated to offering the highest quality of care and education for children aged 9 months to 11 years. The village is just a three-minute drive from the main A52 route to Skegness making Butterwick an ideal setting for commuting and local parents alike. The preschool is easy to find, friendly and has the local community at the heart of what the team do.

At Butterwick Preschool, staff nurture children to become independent, caring and resourceful members of society with family values and community at the heart of what they do. Established over 20 years ago, they pride themselves on being an integral part of not only the early education of local children but as an extension of support for families. They strive to give back to the community through their links with Butterwick Primary school and local businesses too.

Our daughter has attended Butterwick Pre-School since September, we are so impressed. The ladies are all caring, bubbly and chatty.
The outdoor play and opportunities to not be cooped up inside all day are incredible.
We couldn't love Butterwick Pre-school more if we tried. Thank you for all you

Best nursery going. My son has settled in so well and always comes home smiling. The staff are like an extended family that my son is happily enough to run over to any member of staff with his arm open wide.

Love this nursery and so does my little girl. Always has lots of fun and is excited to see the wonderful ladies who will go above and beyond for all the children and parents. My little boy also attended this nursery before moving onto school which he adored the ladies.

I feel so incredibly lucky that my Son is attending Butterwick Pre-School & getting to start his school journey here.
In such a short period of time, he has built wonderful bonds with the ladies & feels right at home in the setting. He has become so much more confident all round since starting.
The
ladies are always happy to help, take the time to listen, are warm, welcoming & friendly. They really show the greatest care in every aspect. The ideas they have to teach & show the children new things are brilliant. I also love how much time my Son gets to spend exploring outdoors.

Our child loves going to nursery and all the staff are very friendly. We love to see our child thrive and making new friends at the nursery.

Fantastic nursery with so many learning experiences for the children. All staff are kind and supportive and provide the best care for my children. The baby room is also fantastic and my little boy has the best time here.

I can't rate the team at Butterwick highly enough, I wouldn't feel comfortable sending my children anywhere else now! The team go the extra mile to ensure that they build a bond with all of the children, learning their likes & dislikes, routines & habits, needs & wants.
My eldest two children attend
afterschool club, on their own request as they thoroughly enjoy spending time there & the activities planned for them.
My daughter has been attending since just before turning 2 and has settled in amazingly. My daughter is showing signs of additional needs & has really benefitted from the size and atmosphere of this nursery, she isn't just a number. The team spend extra time settling her on arrival, allowing her to suit her routine and really try to engage her, allowing her to move between the 'baby room' and 'toddler room' depending on her needs on that particular day. They honestly just go above & beyond and I couldn't be more thankful. Xx

The ladies at Butterwick provide a safe and caring environment for my child. They have been accommodating for us to do a slightly earlier drop off to fit in with the school run also.
My child loves going to pre-school to learn through play and the fun activities the ladies put on for all the children.

Our granddaughter has been at the nursery for 4 months now. She is so happy and quickly settled there. We have certainly seen with our own eyes how her interaction with the staff and her peers through play and the activities has helped her thrive, flourish and given her confidence as she grows. We
receive regular updates both verbal and in words and pictures from the staff and we are kept notified of any important updates, news or events directly and we feel very informed about our granddaughter's life at Butterwick nursery and we are very grateful that she is part of this wonderful setting.

Butterwick Pre-school is the most happy and lovely nursery I have had the pleasure of sending my child to, they are friendly and so caring towards the children, letting my child grow their own way as an individual while learning valuable skills and communication with others.
My child loves the preschool
so much and I am so grateful for all the trips and activities the team plan for the children! I would recommend Butterwick to any mother! Amazing team. Nothing is ever too much and they update you so wonderfully at the end of each day the app and if you have worries they help you so much! Wonderful setting.

I am incredibly happy that we have chosen the Buterwik Pre-School.
Always positive and helpful attitude from members of staff.
Moreover, I am very surprised how supportive the team is to my baby in trying to accommodate the best experience possible for start of his education journey.
Within a month,
my baby fell in love with Butterwick Pre-School and its team.
Five stars are not enough to appreciate how fantastic the performance of Butterwik Pre-School is.

Lovely, warm welcome to my daughter as we have just moved into the area.
We have been given support at every turn.
Very happy with the first few weeks at preschool and afterschool club.

Butterwick Pre-School has been the heart of our family since my eldest daughter started in 2019. The ladies are absolutely amazing and they provide the children with so many different experiences such as strawberry picking, pantomimes, trips to the beach. My daughter loves her pre-school and it makes
being a mum so much easier knowing your child is happy. The ladies have always gone above and beyond to help us wherever they can and I can honestly say, without their support, things would have been a lot harder. It will be sad to be saying goodbye to pre-school in summer with our new venture to primary school but will definitely see you around!

The best decision I made was to put my daughter into Butterwick Pre-school. She absolutely loves it! The ladies are fantastic, so welcoming, give great feedback when I collect. They have so much to offer. My daughter has come along massively since starting here. I love the fact they arrange great outings
too.

My daughter currently attends and my eldest daughter attended previously. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery with a brilliant school to follow through too. The ladies are welcoming, friendly and really do care for the children. They still ask about my eldest daughter, which is so
lovely. The updates on social media and the app are great, we love seeing how they’re getting on and developing. The staff support the nursery-school transition well and my daughter has just learnt to write her name which we are so proud of.

My stepdaughter has attended Butterwick Pre-School since January 2023 and she absolutely loves it.
She has come on leaps and bounds in the year she has been there.

I can’t recommend Butterwick Pre-School enough, the staff have been amazing with my son. It’s hard leaving your children with people you don’t know but at Butterwick, it’s like leaving them with family.

My child started this nursery in January 2023 and since being in this setting, she has made lots of friends and is always looking forward to going to school. She loves her teachers who are always giving the support and help that she needs, they also support parents and give great advice. It is a very
clean and tidy school which has encouraged my little one to put her toys away at home. She loves that she is always able to play outside and have messy play. They go on adventures outside of the setting and get to catch the bus.

Job Title: Director of Education

I am a qualified teacher for children aged 3-7. This gives me the knowledge and experience to implement our educational curriculum in a way that supports children through their early years journey and will stay with them throughout their school transition and beyond. I am extremely passionate about our children gaining experiences in our settings far beyond the realms of a typical nursery or preschool so that our children develop a love of learning, exploring and being curious about the world around them.


Outside of work I am a mummy to two daughters aged 10 and 2 years old who keep me on my toes but also my inspiration for my career. We love the theatre, animals big and small and camping. We are big foodies so enjoy going to different restaurants together after one of our little family adventures. As I get older I am trying to travel more and experience new places and culture.
