Glebe Farm Nursery School is a family-run nursery on the outskirts of Lincoln that provides outstanding childcare for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years, 49 weeks a year.

Situated in idyllic countryside, children do much of their learning in the nursery's two acres of secure land. Nature is a key feature of the children's education and wellbeing support, whether they're exploring the nursery's woods, willow tunnel or climbing area, role-playing in the castle, playhouse or play tent, or learning about the wider world in the outdoor classroom.

Meals are home-cooked and nutritionally balanced, with any dietary requirements catered for. Much of the produce that children eat is grown on the nursery's vegetable patch and children actively learn about living a healthy lifestyle.

My daughter has attended Glebe Farm for a year, starting when she had just turned one. From the start, I felt reassured by the professionalism of the staff and was impressed by their approach to early years education in a fun, safe and friendly environment. My daughter loves coming to nursery, which
says it all. All the staff in the baby barn and under-twos are lovely and caring, they really get to know you and your child. I love the focus on being outdoors, using natural materials, and promoting independence. The home-cooked nutritious menu is another huge plus too. Overall, Glebe was by far the best setting I viewed and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Our daughters have attended Glebe Farm for over 3 half years combined.
Both started off in the Baby Barn. One is currently still in the Baby Barn and our oldest is now in the pre-school 3 years group.
From the moment we visited Glebe Farm we knew this was the nursery for us and asked for the paperwork
to join/waiting list before we left!
Firstly, the staff make Glebe Farm what it is. They are the heart of the place and that to us was so important as a family. Knowing our girls would get a cuddle when needed, and they were in a loving, safe, kind, and caring environment. The activities they provide and the development of our girls has been simply amazing, walking, talking, numbers, phonics, etc!
Secondly, the grounds and building are clean, modern, and amazing for kids to explore! There are lots of outside spaces to play in and inside are classrooms but with an open plan area too.
The home-cooked dinners they receive smell delicious and the girls love to eat them.
HUGE thank you, Glebe!

My daughter started in the baby barn at Glebe Farm Nursery School and is now in the fours. She absolutely loves her days at nursery and it is obvious to me that she feels safe, cared for and stimulated in the nursery environment provided there. All of the staff members go above and beyond to look after
the children in their care but also to make sure any parental concerns are dealt with swiftly, professionally and always with compassion and sensitivity. All in all, the nursery is just a lovely place for children to develop and learn new things.

Both my daughter and son attend Glebe and have done since they were young babies in the Baby Barn. I have always felt assured that not only are they being loved and cared for, they are also receiving the very best in educational development and stimulation. I know that when they need a cuddle, they
get it, and for me, that is paramount.
The staff have always been efficient and welcoming. I feel confident in being able to discuss anything I need to and I have always found their communication to be warm and professional.
I have recommended Glebe to other parents who now also send their children too, it is, without doubt, an excellent nursery and deserves the reviews that it gets.
I would, with no hesitation, continue to recommend Glebe Farm Nursery.

Amazing nursery school, kind and caring staff who couldn’t do more to make parents and children happy and at ease.
My daughter loves going to nursery here and enjoys all the activities, she is never prevented from exploring the setting.
Staff keep in good contact with parents to keep them informed
of any information, and are all very helpful answering any questions we’ve had, could not recommend more!

Our son began Glebe Farm, in the Baby Barn, in September 2021. We have had a fantastic experience so far, my son is happy, settled, and has made a great deal of progress in a relatively short space of time.
The Baby Barn staff are always on hand for questions, advice, and a chat and are so personable
and easy to talk to.
If you have any queries, emails are responded to swiftly and staff are always accommodating to any dietary needs.
We first looked around Glebe Farm during the summer of 2020, pregnant and masked up, and had a really in-depth visit. The learning environment in every room, and outdoors, is one of the best I have ever seen. I am an early years teacher and have taught in Manchester and Lincoln, so have seen my fair share of nurseries!
We chose Glebe Farm over plenty of other nurseries in North Hykeham and Lincoln because of its reputation, care, and learning environment. We also like that Tapestry is used so both us and the nursery can share observations via an online portal.

My daughter has attended Glebe Farm since she was 6 months old and is soon turning 3. From the moment she started at Glebe it felt safe and welcoming. The staff are amazing and will go above and beyond to support any child.
The environment is amazing, and I honestly wouldn’t have my daughter go anywhere
else.

My Son is 2 years old. He is very happy at Glebe Farm, it is a caring place with lots of outdoor space for hands-on outdoor play and learning. One of the main reasons we chose this Nursery is because it is a forest school.
The contact between nursery and home is minimal, so I don't really feel like
I know a lot of what is going on and being done by my son, but he is happy and cared for.

Glebe Farm has been absolutely amazing for both of our children. My eldest has been attending for over two years and loves his nursery days. Our daughter has been in the baby barn for almost a month now, and we could not praise Glebe Farm highly enough. It’s been such a relief to start back at work knowing that she is nurtured, loved, and looked after so well. Her development since starting nursery has been absolutely amazing too! We are
so glad we’ve been able to start at this nursery, the facilities, staff, and ethos are a cut above any other nursery that we looked at. We feel so confident and reassured that she is well looked after and happy there which is all we could ask for.
