Busy Bees in Wootton Fields offers children a stimulating environment where they have access to an entire range of exciting activities and engaging learning resources.

The nursery caters for children from babies through to preschoolers, and provides a space for children of every age to flourish. Each of the nursery rooms are tailored to suit different age groups with a wide range of age-appropriate facilities on offer to help support their development. The team support children by following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring they have the very best early years education whilst also preparing them for school.

The spacious garden areas provide covered spaces for your little one to enjoy being outside no matter the weather. The mud kitchen and vegetable patch gives children opportunities to learn whilst enjoying being in the fresh air.

The team work hard to ensure children are always learning and having fun while at the nursery, and the Busy Bees' learning and development app ‘UP’ offers a range of information and advice for you to support your child's progress at home too.

I have always had extremely positive experiences with the nursery. The staff have clearly taken the time to get to know my child, his likes and his personality. I have been particularly impressed lately with the way in which the staff have supported me during my child's ill-health. He has been quite
poorly and they have made suggestions to future-proof further relapses and gone out of their way to help get him back to full health. Always cheery and always acknowledge and say hello to parents and children which I think is very important.

A very happy environment for my little boy. He is learning and improving a lot. The staff are very welcoming. The management helps us change the days our child was attending, at short notice.

My son really enjoys coming to nursery.
He's learnt so much, he's singing and dancing a lot more at home since being at nursery. The staff are great with him, they understand his needs and moods and they keep me up to date with everything he does had done and his next steps.

Busy Bees has created a well rounded social child of my daughter. She can't wait to arrive in the morning and doesn't want to leave at lunchtime.
Her key worker is her carer and her best friend.
We couldn't ask for a better team to look after our princess.

Outstanding people/staff.
Feels like dropping my child off with friends!
My son has come on leaps and bounds since joining in October. Staff are always willing to support from child development to personal support. Nothing is ever a bother!

It took my son around 5 months to really settle in and seem comfortable but in that time, the staff really went out of their way to help him feel comfortable.


There were days that I would come to collect him and the ladies would be cuddling him and really seemed to care about him. Staff around the

nursery, not just his room, will always acknowledge him and they all seem to know every child's name.

I have been very pleased with my son's progress at Busy Bees Nursery in Wootton Fields. He always enjoys his time at nursery and he has made many good friends here. I am new to the area and from the enquiries up to my daughter starting I have had excellent services and support from everyone at Busy Bees. I have been listened to regarding my concerns and have had excellent feedback.
My child has been to numerous settings but this is the first nursery where she
has been truly happy. This is a joy to see.
I can't praise this nursery enough and though she will only be here a short time I know that she will be ready for school in September.

Extremely happy with the service I get with my little boy here. I speak to all levels daily and they have always been friendly, enthusiastic and helpful.


My little boy really enjoys going in and is always happy afterwards from his fun-filled day.


They have healthy food cooked on site and every

day is varied to help the children develop.

My daughter is just starting in 'Poppies' and every effort is being made to help her and me acclimatise to the nursery. The settle sessions are going really well and I am confident that by the time she starts her full days it will be smooth, for her anyway. Very warm and caring environment.

Danielle Oliver

Job Title: Centre Director

I would like to introduce myself; my name is Danielle Oliver.


I have worked at Busy Bees Northampton Wootton Fields for over 7 years, starting as an apprentice to my position now as Centre Director. I hold a Level 3 in Early Years and am currently completing my Level 3 in Leadership and Management.


Providing the foundation for future learning and success is what I am passionate about. As a bonus, I am fortunate to lead a team who shares this passion.
