Clarecroft staff are fully committed to providing a ‘home from home’ environment for children to enjoy. The setting welcomes children from 3 months to 11 years old and aims to provide all children with high-quality care in a warm, safe and friendly environment with a variety of stimulating resources.

The nursery has an enclosed garden with safety flooring and a variety of age-appropriate outdoor resources. The nursery also has a CCTV system installed throughout the premises.

At Clarecroft, staff follow the 'early years foundation' stage framework to support early learning experiences, and this is backed up with lots of practical hands-on activities for children in all age groups.

However, Clarecroft is about more than just covering the curriculum; it’s about teaching children to share experiences and building confidence.

Staff hold appropriate early years qualifications which give children the care and inspiration needed to thrive in a rich and fun learning environment.

The nursery cook prepares freshly cooked meals on the premises daily. Individual dietary needs are also catered for.

All staff are trained in paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, manual handling as well as plenty of other ongoing training to support the delivery of the 'early years foundation stage'. This ensures that parents have peace of mind when leaving children in the nursery.

The nursery has strong partnerships with parents and staff keep parents updated about each child's day on a daily basis.

Funded places are available for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.

Clarecroft will provide all children with the opportunity to make friends and gain the confidence to make the move up into the first year at school and beyond.

We are just so happy with our experience of Clarecroft Day Nursery. They have been so supportive in settling our 1 year old into the nursery and continuing to support our 3 year old as she transitions to preschool. They really seem to care about the children and listen/support parents. Thank you!

Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindsets. It’s wonderful seeing our daughter SO excited about going to Clarecroft Day Nursery each morning. The staff really make an effort to engage the children in a range of activities, supporting each child in developing in an individualised way. The management
and team are really committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment. Their communication is great, I never feel like I am unable to reach out if I have any queries or concerns. The Parent Portal is a very useful tool where you can view what your child has been up to throughout the day (meals, sleep, nappy changes) and you can expect at least one photo a day to be shared and other great uses too for example adding your own home observations, viewing invoices etc. I am very thankful to the whole team at Clarecroft Day Nursery and for the provision of high quality care they provide for my children (my son currently attends wrap around care there, he also attended full time when he was younger).

My daughter was in Clarecroft Day Nursery from 13 months onwards and during all these years she has been loved and cared for by the wonderful and committed staff there. They were always gently working on her independence and skills through play and activities and providing a happy environment for her
development. The only minor issue is that they don't have a massive playground for outside but, to be fair, what they do have is well utilised and the indoors is like a Tardis. Her personal relationship skills with other kids was positively encouraged and this prepared her for junior school. Her relationship with her different key workers through the years was a highlight and made her feel special and valued, no doubt helping her to become a confident little girl.

The nursery is good and I have been happy with their care of my child. Staff are responsive to my queries. The reports I get indicate that staff know my child well. My child enjoys their days at the nursery but struggles with the transition of entering the nursery. Staff have tried to offer creative
support with this. The activities offered are varied and creative.

I highly recommend Clarecroft Day Nursery. My daughter has been there since she was 10-months-old and is currently in preschool. She is very happy there and has learnt so much too. As a reception teacher myself, I really appreciate all the work that they do in preschool to get children school-ready
and in such a nurturing way. My son also started in the baby room recently, he is very happy there and within a matter of weeks has made excellent relationships with staff. All the staff are lovely and so friendly and communication is excellent.

Clarecroft Day Nursery have looked after both our children from the ages of 2.5 years. Both are completely different in character but they have both loved Clarecroft. The daily activities are always engaging and fun. I know they eat well from the homecooked meals and snacks.
All the ladies are friendly
and approachable, so we get good feedback on how our child is developing in the setting. As well as feedback from the staff, the parents' app system lets us see what our child does through the day and allows them to share photos too. We are really happy with the care our child received and feel really lucky to have a nursery like this on our doorstep.

Both our girls have attended Clarecroft Day Nursery for the last ten years, no idea how I will persuade them to go to senior school! The ladies are totally fabulous and are always attentive and completely understand the children and their needs. Cannot recommend this nursery setting more, they are totally

My granddaughter loves it at nursery, she has been attending since she was 1-year-old and can’t wait to go in the mornings. She has made lots of friends, has learnt to be confident and independent. They learn different things every day and the Christmas performance was lovely and must have been a lot
of work for the staff. Regular progress reports mean you always know what’s going on.

Clarecroft Day Nursery offers a home from home for our daughter. All the staff are extremely friendly, kind and welcoming and genuinely show a real interest in our daughter's well-being and development.
The updates we receive each day via the app are fantastic, both informative and reassuring. The
pictures uploaded are also great as we get an insight into what our little girl is getting up to each day.
A wonderful nursery, extremely lucky to have it on our doorstep.

Our son attended this nursery/preschool from 9 months old. He was always well cared for, had lots of fun and has learnt so much. He is now going to school with brilliant manners, able to count to 100, able to sound letters phonetically and with a bunch of long term friends that he adores. The nursery
has worked hand in hand with us parents to ensure our son reached his full potential and we are very grateful for their care and kindness always shown.

The level of care from Clarecroft Day Nursery has been excellent. The job they do is first-rate even at the best of times, the efforts made throughout the Covid-19 pandemic has surpassed excellent. That they have been able to maintain such great levels of learning and activities for the children whilst
keeping to the additional measures enforced by Covid regulations shows the level of dedication the staff have.

Both of my children absolutely loved every day spent at preschool. Always happy and smiling. They learned so much. They are confident and prepared for the next step in their life, the big school. My boys wake every morning asking if it’s nursery. Once there they run in the gates, they tell me who they have seen and what they have done at the end of the day. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. The portal can be tricky, I have had a few problems but staff are more than happy to help.

Our daughter has attended Clarecroft from a baby and moved through the rooms to pre-school. We have all had an extremely positive and rewarding experience using the nursery. Our daughter has thrived over the years, loving her time their immensely and has always wanted to go. The staff are all attentive,
fun and you can see that they really care about your child. She has learnt so much through the varied activities that they do and is always coming home with her latest artwork. We would not hesitate in recommending the nursery.

Great nursery. My little girl is in the sun room. She has been there for three months now and is 1. She clearly loves the nursery and gets very excited to see the staff. They have different activities set out every day, great outside space to play in and I am regularly updated on her day with photos
and observations via the app.
I cannot recommend the nursery enough. Staff are welcoming and always pleased to see us with genuine care and interest for the children.

Clarecroft is an outstanding nursery, they provide excellent provisions and activities for the children. It is well organised and the safety and wellbeing of all is paramount. All the staff show great dedication and really go the extra mile to get to know the children in their groups.
My little boy
