This delightful children’s day nursery and preschool provides babies, from six weeks to preschool children up to five years old, with a safe and homely environment in which to learn, play and grow in confidence. It is located in a beautifully renovated townhouse, across the road from Abington Park woodland area on Wellingborough Road in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

Kiddi Caru Northampton offers flexible sessions to provide the best childcare solutions to fit your family life. They supply free childcare for all three and four year olds up to 22 hours a week with funded hours all year round.

They understand that, as a parent, you have a million things to do and prepare for your child every morning. So, they supply nappies and formula milk for all ages that need them. They hope to ease your daily routine by taking care of these essentials for your little one whilst they are at nursery.

My child has been with the guys at Abington park for 7 months, and it's exceptional. As a working mum, there is always guilt and worry when you chose to return to work. But from the minute we signed up (when I was pregnant!). Have been put at ease. My little girl is unbelievably happy, she gets excited
when we arrive, and is often sad when I collect her.
This is down to:
The fantastic staff
The amazing activities
The delish food
The high-quality location and facilities.


Every little thing is thought about, the key workers know my little girl inside and out and I trust them implicitly with her. They are fantastic with me when I have questions I love the updates through tapestry.

Pleased with the nursery.
My little one is happy at nursery. Well looked after and cared for.
Good communication with parents.
Plenty of out door space, multiple rooms so they get to move around more and change leaving environment over the years.
I would happily recommend this nursery.

Would highly recommend this nursery as the staff are so caring and warm to the children. My daughter has come on so much since joining and is constantly coming home and showing us different things she has learnt.

Our child has been attending since starting in the baby room and has progressed so well. Staff are so friendly and I know that he is really well taken care of from the moment at drop off till collection. The nursery has great outdoor space and keeps us well informed. Such care and concern when my daughter is poorly. Very professional in checking on her attendance and how best they can help her once she returns. Phone call received early and genuine concern for her well being was shown.

Kiddi Caru is a warm, friendly and approachable setting. The staff go above and beyond at meeting the needs of each child as individuals. My daughter has struggled with drop-offs since the day she started (almost eighteen months ago), she’s fine once she’s there but I really wanted the drop-offs to
become a more positive experience. The staff have been fantastic in supporting this and are very empathetic, they understand that one size doesn’t fit all and are very open and willing to take on board my thoughts and suggestions to help with drop-offs.
I’ve found it so important to build a relationship with the nursery and have transparency as a parent too, as a result, this has made the whole experience a wonderful one and I’m so grateful that my daughter is much more settled and has built such strong connections with the staff at Kiddi Caru.
They really are a lovely bunch!

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery has been amazing since my daughter started in October last year. She took a while to settle but the staff have been so caring and helpful in her time there. The updates we receive every day are a great piece of mind knowing she is being well looked after. She comes home every
day full of beans, chatting away and never hesitates when we drop her off.

Kiddi Caru Abington Park nursery is absolutely amazing, my child has been at the nursery for a year now and has come on leaps and bounds! The staff are lovely which makes drop-off easier for us all too! I couldn’t imagine sending my child elsewhere as he’s extremely settled and happy!

The staff are so kind and fun, my little boy always goes in with a smile on his face and dances when I come to pick him up. They feed him well, make sure he has lots of activity time and keep in touch with me about anything going on through the day that I need to be informed about. My only complaint
is the sheer amount of dirty clothing that comes home but that’s because he does so much messy play which he adores. Smiles all round! I would definitely recommend.

Both of my children have attended the setting and I found the staff to be brilliant and very caring. I'm totally comfortable that they are in safe hands and are challenged and stimulated.
Since starting with the nursery, I have seen my youngest develop new skills and I am impressed at the things she's
learning; colours, counting, shapes, patterns etc.
Most importantly, I know she has a lot of fun and is well cared for!

My child has been attending this nursery for almost two years and has experienced every room and most of the staff. He is always welcomed with care every morning. He is so happy to go and so happy when he's collected (apart from when he wants to stay). He has absolutely thrived here and even though
we have just moved across the other side of town, I won't be moving him as he absolutely loves it. I trust this nursery with my son as much as I would my family members.

My son has returned home a number of times with soiled pants, where it’s clear that poo had been removed from the pants and then just pulled back up. This has left my son with red sores on his bum and has had to be escalated through to management.
I also feel that for the significant cost of the nursery,
far more updates should be given about next steps, current/planned learning activities and how specifically my child is progressing. I do not feel that I know anywhere near enough how well my child is progressing.


Lastly, there appears to be a significant staff turnover which is unsettling for a child when his key worker is constantly changing

My little boy loves it here and he has a genuine connection with those he is looked after by. He’s always smiling when he leaves and his development is coming on so well, his social skills particularly. He’s made so many friends.

My son is in his final few months at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Northampton, Abington Park and he has thoroughly enjoyed his time here. His sister also came through this nursery and progressed to school 2-years ago. The carers have, on the whole, been excellent and the children have had good relationships
with them. The nursery is a safe and fun environment with good outdoor spaces.

My child has been at this nursery for a few months and had settled in well. I feel the staff have created a pleasant and fun environment for my child to enjoy. They have also created a great relationship with my child which makes the process of going to nursery stress free and fun. Nursery is also good

My daughter has been at the nursery for nearly 2 months now in the ducklings room and the team have been brilliant in welcoming her into the room and making both me and little one comfortable. I get regular observations which we love to see that shows she’s having fun and getting good 1-on-1 time with
her key person. I am always confident that she will have nutritious meals from a wide range menu throughout the day too. The team are always happy and welcoming during pick-ups and drop off and more than willing to answer questions about her day. Would definitely recommend!

Spoken to by manager in a hostile manner over a misunderstanding. Regardless of the matter I am a paying customer and don't appreciate to be spoken down to condescendingly.
Never had virtual parents evening to discuss child progress at nursery, unlike friend's nurseries. I understand the nursery uses
an online journal, however, it isn't the same as talking to a staff member working with your child. I also could have addressed these concerns.
Price being increased - for what? Again when approaching friends their nursery prices have not increased. No explanation of what this is actually going to be spent on. Mentions staff therefore are you employing more staff?
Events always on a Friday therefore if your child doesn't attend Fridays like mine they won't be able to be involved.
Staff working with my child appear friendly and my child attends nursery with no concerns and appears to enjoy the time.

Really nice nursery and excellent staff. I would recommend this nursery to family and friends. They are really caring and polite people, they are great with the activities that they do. My son comes out and tells us all about his day in nursery and what he has done. He enjoys it and enjoys making new

Working for the childcare sector in nursery settings since 2011, Taylor holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, Level 5 in Management and is passionate about SEND. She enjoys expanding her knowledge across all areas of childcare to ensure she is providing the best care to children and staff. Taylor has experienced senior positions within Abington Park since July 2014, culminating in acceptance of the Manager position in 2022.
